Xiaomi launched the global versions of the Redmi Note 11 series few weeks ago, and while many were excited for the design, there were disappointments, mostly because the global versions were not packing as much power as the Dimensity powered China variants. The Redmi Note 11 is the base of the series, powered by the Snapdragon 680 and bringing improvements such as a 90hz refresh rate display and improved design. Not much else has changed performance wise. This is a detailed review of the Redmi Note 11.

I'm actually considering the Poco M4 pro. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the IPS LCD screen. I'm currently using the Redmi note 9pro max. Poco m4 pro is the only one that comes close performance wise to the Snapdragon 720g I'm currently using

I'm using redmi note 7. I think I will rather go with redmi note 10 Pro

I've not noticed that. As for second space, go to special features under settings it should be there. Also check to make sure you've downloaded the latest update

I noticed the screen flickering issue too, it happens only in dark mode, but it was fixed with the latest update (13.0.5)

5:05 I used this phone today and the transparent part is just like the 11s. The software is mui13.0 1.

Won't work with a Tecno device. Mostly works with Snapdragon powered devices and in some cases, Exynos

If the price is too good to be true you should avoid it. Also read reviews before buying anything. If it doesn't have enough reviews, avoid it

Coming from basic Note 9 I am pretty happy with Note 11 especially with a custom ROM. DC dimming is a must have on a cheapo amoled screen, don't know why miui didn't include the option, sunce its working great on custom

Bro I bought this phone last week with out research, am suppose to buy redmi 11 but it not available so I bought this one, I came back that day and saw your video and my heart melted, I cooled my self and learned to love it, I got along with it and now is another down grade video, now my question is if you will gladly answer me, is it all bad, should I sell the phone or is their good value in it?. It's not bad and like I mentioned in the video, if you're coming from maybe the Redmi 10 or Redmi 9 or a lesser device, it's a great buy. But if you own a Note 10, unless you really need the 90hz refresh rate this device isn't different from that one

Do you have a budget you're working with? If budget is not a problem you can just go for the Redmi K40 gaming or Poco X3 GT

From the Note 10 to 11s is a solid upgrade though 🙂

@@sadikjuma5519 actually it will be in about a week. It was released in the first week of March 2021. If it was a Tecno device I'd say OK, expect another in 6 months. But the earliest we'll likely see the Redmi Note 12 series is 4th quarter of this year

On cameras and overall performance, probably. Build quality will go to the Redmi though
Why don't you people ever talk about the oversharpening issue redmi has with their video viewing. I have redmi note 11s and it seriously oversharpens videos and makes them look not so good
Maybe because we don't see this problem?
I think I know what you mean though but what I see is videos having extra contrast. You could probably tone it down by adjusting and tweaking the phones color profile in the display settings. I think it's mostly common on the Mediatek ones so it might have to do with the processor's optimisation for video
The only upgrade i like here is the 90Hz refresh rate
