After being a 5600 fan (I have 12) for many years, decided to order this 2 days ago. It’s on the way.
Thanks for the review! 🙏
Love this model. Great work horse. Gary Colbert
Love this model. This is what Zach Braff wore as JD in TV show, Scrubs. The fact that this design has endured for over 20 years tells you everything.
Amen, thanks for watching! Cheers
I have a G2300 still in my rotation. Good choice for a video subject. Thought it would have been a bit deeper on the model but otherwise enjoyed.
Great review!!!!!!

Love your videos this is another nice watch I like solar power 😁
Great review, I wish in the stopwatch mode, it displayed the current time.
I just got the 2022 fire package version- really love the shape and feel of it.
Not massively keen on the rose gold/copper colour of the inner bezel but got a good price so can’t complain- might take a sharpie to it or look for an all black inner bezel to mod it 😄
Great video. I ordered the negative display version of the 2310 a couple of days ago. Main reason is to replace another Casio I use for work. These watches are truly a tank of a watch. Can't beat the price on it either. Keep up the good work on the videos.
Where did you buy parts for 2310?
@@nickolasalmeida995 What parts are you referring to?
One year later, haha, how was the negative display for you? Was it a big issue with its visibility or was it just fine to see the negative display during the day, in the shadows or brightest parts of the day? Would you recommend getting the negative display after a year with the watch?
@@ciprianomartinez2811 man… you ain’t lying 🤣 a year later.
I still wear the watch til this day. It’s my work watch and my EDC watch. I really like it but the negative display could be improved.
@@fl_protection thank you for the response haha. I was thinking of getting the negative display version, but I don’t want to be struggling trying to see the time depending on the angle or outside light source.
Just bought it from local store. Used relic one, but still works fine. I guess its aging more than 10 years but still gshock is a toughness
Put off by the "chrome" Great watch tbough.
Great model! Big display, world time, 5 alarms (one with a snooze), nice shape and choice of colors, and, most importantly, it's solar powered! And a surprisingly low price! The only little disappointment for me was that on countdown timer you can adjust hours and minutes, but not seconds (I wonder why put such a limitation), and instead of the good old quadruple beep (timer alarm) that I anticipated there's a long single beep. That caused me to buy another gshock model (in addition), that got the timer right (for me😊). In general, I'm a big lover of such watches, especially from Casio, and I was itching to get one despite having a galaxy watch.😅 I wonder what year is this model.
I personally prefer the older brother of this, the G-2300 from 2000, which I just got on ebay. It has the same sexy design, but a more flexible countdown timer, also a databank (don't need that with my phone though). A timeless piece!😊
I must admit, however, that the later G-2310R is more accurate (according to satellite time). If only the timer in it was as in the earlier model (but that's just me). 😀
Excellent, thanks for watching. Cheers
How to change time
I've had this G2310R for a bunch of years. I like it as much as ever. But I remember a time (I'm old) when suddenly the style went to ultra thin. That really makes sense. These G Shocks are STUPIDLY cumbersome. Which causes a severe snagging problem in some lines if work. Also, there are so dam many jagged angles plus highs and lows that they grab more dirt than a baseboard in a skating rink. I still love mine but I like my classy looking wafer thin watch better.
