in GBD-H2000 there is no tide graph function. in GPR-H1000 it is.

I really like Gotrax but I HATE not being able to disable the kick to start and cruise control functions. And why 2 speeds?

I did the same thing. Sold my Casio GBR-H1000 after a month and bought the Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2. Much better for so many reasons.

Hey Ross, awesome video! I have the Fenix 7x Solar and it's a beast. But, I'm a G-Shock fan and have a couple of nice automatics. They just don't get enough time on the wrist. The Fenix is just so capable and customisable, it's hard to take off, especially on days when I'm exercising (which is most days)...

I’ve had my g9300 since 2011….i haven’t replaced the battery to this very day. I have beaten this watch to the tune of 3 x bands, but the watch just keeps going. Amazing.

I’m happy with the 9400. ABC. Tough Solar. Perfect. But I like where the smartwatch gshock line is headed but it’s a “not yet” for me :-)

After the initial set up if you were to turn Bluetooth off will the moonphase, sunrise sunset times, barometer, and other functions still be up to date like on a Casio? I understand you won’t get proper weather info and some other smart functions that rely on phone communication but I am curious about the others before I go out and buy my first Garmin. Thanks

Power Save Mode is available. What are you talking about? It is weird that it doesn't have Tough Solar, I agree, but it does have power save mode. When I wake up in the morning and pull it off my desk the screen is off, and I need to press a button to turn the screen back on. EDIT: Hold the adjust button, press Mode until the last setting and the last setting will say PSOFF, push SEARCH to make it PSON.

I want a smart watch for the same reasons as you. Mostly golf, weightlifting, daily general fitness tracking. So fenix or epix? Haven’t worn a golf watch in awhile. Hopefully can get used to it again

Grabbed on after seeing this video. Already got water on the inside and now Timex is telling me its 5-6 months to get it fixed under warranty. Cant find another new one to replace quicker :(

I like the design of the new Mido Ocean Star GMT better than this. Doesnt have the same movement, but its quite a bit cheaper too.

The Instinct 2X in Coyote Tan is an amazing piece. However, I want maps so I went all out with the Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar since it's on sale and was only $120 more in my country. If the 7X wasn't on sale I'd have gone with the Instinct 2X in a heartbeat.

Great watch but they need to close the gap between the bracelet and the watch, that gap is a deal breaker for me, even Hamilton and Tissot are much more finished at the bracelet gap
