Liked and subbed. Just got my A91 Edition, and you are already the best resource I've seen.
Glad to hear it. Thanks for the support!
Did your A91 come with HUD? I'm looking to get a Supra 3.0...having HUD would be awesome but A 91 would be more awesome too
That intake looks sick!
Thanks!
After watching this vid I noticed that the AMS intake looks great but it sounds just like the stock OEM air box. It's too quite for me. So, I decided to go with AWE S-Flo carbon intake which on addition to its awesome design it sounds aggressive as well.
A closed box intake design is the wrong way to go if you want induction noises.
How tight did you go on the clamp that attaches to the CF pipe? Got the Armaspeed and wanna make sure I don’t overdo it 😅 Go until it’s tight and then one more 360? Thx!
You should probably ask the manufacturer for some torque specs.
Seems to me that it sounds slightly deeper with the AMS intake. Are you planning on a tune? My biggest concern on putting any performance bolt-ons to mine is probably the requirement of a tune since there's a ton of torque reduction on the ECU from what I've been reading, so the gains are going to be controlled on everything you do performance wise unless tuned. Thanks for sharing.
To me a tune is important to actually utilize the various aftermarket performance parts. However, I personally am waiting until I've installed all the parts, then tuning, rather than tuning in between to save myself money.
@@HaiTran This is the last thing i'm waiting on to do my tune, how long did it take to get the intake? this was backordered and they couldn't give me a date when to expect it.
I got lucky and got the last one in stock where I bought it so no real waiting.
Would you have to take everything apart to clean the filter?
Yes, you would. It’s a good thing that that isn’t require for tens of thousands of miles.
Can you still use a strut brace? Thanks.
That would likely depend on what brace you go with but I’ve definitely seen others run a brace with this intake.
Doesn't really sound any different. This one is a no for me for that price.
Whatever works for you 👍🏽
Only intakes that will sound louder are mostly open air intakes that don't do much other than suck up hot engine heat etc.
