- Princess Stephanie of Monaco was born on the 1 February 1965 in Monaco. She parents were Princess Grace, formerly known as Grace Kelly, and Prince Rainier of Monaco. She has an older sister Caroline and a brother Albert. Stephanie Grimaldi was seventeen in September 1982 when the car her mother was driving crashed on a winding stretch of road. Princess Grace was killed instantly, and Stephanie was left with minor injuries. When Prince Rainier died in 2008, he had ruled the Principality of Monaco for fifty-six year. Stephanie’s brother Albert succeeded Prince Rainier.
Stephanie Grimaldi attended the Dames de Saint-Maur school in Monaco, followed by further education at the Dupanloup, Paris, graduating in 1982.

The main reason why Stephanie hasn't aged as well as her sister is because she is a heavy smoker and enjoys a drink. She's naturally incredibly shy and is only really happy in private. If you go to the Monaco Beach Club in the summer she's usually there chatting to all the staff who adore her. She mostly doesn't stay around Monaco because the paparazzi are relentless in pursuing her. She also doesn't stay at the palace in Monaco but has an apartment in Monte Carlo in a back street where she spends most of her time when she's there. She's actually very private and rather nice.
Unfortunately, her Skin also got way too much sun 😢

@@Lazydaisy646 I wouldnt be shocked if Grace smoked during pregnancy like Jackie Kennedy and even in 1969 MY mother,., I'm 55 and improve with a bit of colour on my lips etc but heavy makeup on naturally still smooth skin actually makes women look older. A good hair day is also a big win. I am finding that as I get older my vanity is less, like I thought I'd care MORE. Having cancer scares in 4 places in 1 year really makes your priorities more simplified, like good health looks good. Even Keith Richards is a winner cuz he cannot look worse than in 1979! The trick to looking good at some ages is never having looked good hahahaha. So Im happy amd I bet Stephanieis happy too.

Some people are born with great advantages and some with challenges to overcome. This woman was rich, beautiful, & royal. She made choices and now, it's time to face the decisions made in youth and come to terms with the good, the bad, & the ugly. Too bad we only have one life to live. We can learn so much from our choices and the path we have chosen in life. I hope Stephanie has found peace.
We are taught at a very young age that being beautiful, successful and rich will make our lives happy. To a certain point it does help. Nevertheless, the Grimaldi family taught me a valuable lesson, no money in the world buys happiness, love and makes you immortal. This family has suffered tragedies, divorces, deception, illnesses. They are human, they are imperfect like all of us.
No she doesn't need help with her clothing choices because she is herself! I am an advocate to being your Authentic Self!!

Ce n'est pas très gentil de dire cela.. à 50 ans les femmes ont des rides... cela dépend aussi de la qualité de la peau, de l'hygiène de vie, des lumières fortes lors des photos.... je crois que l'important c'est qu'elle soit bien dans sa tête... elle est grand mère et elle a élevé 3 enfants, pratiquement en étant séparée des papas. Elle a vécu des drames ... tout cela cela marque...elle assume son apparence alors pourquoi pas nous ? Elle a les moyens d'y remédier et elle ne le fait pas, c'est son choix.

Stephanie was always termed the wild child of the Monagasque royal family but there are so many circumstances that aren't acknowledged. She was traumatized by her mother's death. She was in the car with her mother when Princess Grace suffered a massive stroke behind the wheel and went off of a steep cliff. There was a wild rumor that Stephanie was driving and was somehow to blame for her mother, Grace's death. She was only 17 and the press was brutal about the accident. Stephanie (I believe) had an emotional breakdown and her life choices showed it for years. Her father was distant and she was the youngest of the family so she had to navigate the aftermath largely alone. Anyone who judges her should really show a little compassion.
I will be very, very careful discussing what happened in the car, knowing the little one's temperament....The truth might never be known, let me put it that way.

Grace suffered a MINOR stroke while driving, the main damage was caused by the accident and Stephanie was always intensely close to her father and she had the close support of her sister and brother after the accident also.
We all age.....it's so easy to sit and judge, however this is what a natural older woman looks like...how refreshing.

thank God she and her sister are not destroying themselves with botox and fillers and liifts. They are getting older. And then, this is what you look like. They are the ones who look natural. Not Jane Fonda or Madonna.

She was a complete embarrassment to her poor father when she was younger, with many lovers and illegitimate children. She's living proof that money can't make you happy or find you everlasting love. Her father cut her inheritance but at least he left rich enough to be able to pay the electric bill.

She was such a pretty baby. Looks like her father. Her face become harder in time. So, it means it is difficult to tell what a baby will be like later. She used a lot of drugs for years so maybe that was a factor.

I will never forget that horrible singing debut on the Oprah show. Couldn’t sing a note. And then her statement; ‘music is my life’. That ended quickly. Then one of the guys she was with was in the circus so she decided to be a carnie’s girl and live in a trailer at the carnival. Then that phase ended and on to something else. It just went on and on. Her father got so fed up he removed part of her inheritance. Hope she’s finally settled down.

That accident with her mom changed her life forever. She’s has been damaged ever since. That face had a lot to do with her lifestyle. She was a lost kid for years but always a wild child. . I understand aging gracefully but she looks so much older than 57. Sad. Haunted lady.
