I just want it to produce a star because now it's going into the 12th season and hasn't produced one yet, and AI produced one in its first season.

Maybe The Voice should produce a star like AI did such as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood because in my opinion Randy was so right by saying that The Voice is like a 2nd chance, but I have nothing against The Voice I just want it to produce a big star because now The Voice is going into its 12th season and hasn't discovered someone that famous because AI discovered someone famous right in the first season.

it's really irresponsible for randy to say that. what's wrong with second chances anyway? Adam's response is perfect! i think the voice US has more mature judges that the american idol. AI judges humiliate the contestants to the point that even the judges are humiliating each other (mariah vs. nicki).
Now AI's ratings have dropped, and The Voice has higher ratings now...what do you say about that, Randy?

I never really watched American Idol, I always thought it was boring. But I like The Voice and The X Factor because the judges make it interesting to watch.
I've never heard of or seen this "The Voice" show, but if Adam Levine is on it, I want to see it. That man is so fit.

You know, I'm liking all the shows of American Idol, The Voice and the X Factor because these shows bring true talent to all genres. I just feel like we should respect these shows whether we pound on the judges or applaud the contestants. All begin the same way and will end in the same way.

i think the Voice is the best show on earth, it gives people a chance to live their dreams! :)
What's great about The Voice is that there's no real judgement. If a judge likes the singer, he or she turns around based on the singer's voice alone, and adds them to their team. I think that's a much more respectable way to go.
Plus last season, the winner sang with Stevie Nicks. Top that, Idol. xD

I'm not really into singing contest shows, but I'd watched The Voice on the basis of Adam's response.
One of the things that keeps happening with American Idol type shows is the fact that they say someone doesn’t have the look and The Voice goes off of your voice rather than your face.

i don't know about the shows. but judges or coaches whatever they are called, on The Voice, can actually SING. they all have accomplished something already in music industry.
The Voice is the best singing show on tv hands down... and I have a few points to back that up. 1st you have to send in a tape to go on that show, there is nobody that is horrible like on American Idol. 2nd They judge you on your voice so the only thing that matters is how much talent you have and 3rd they have 4 very talented artists to actually take time out of their careers to coach you! Oh & it helps having 2 sexy guys to look at plus they are all funny when they talk sh*t to each other :)
