    Since most of the Fox buttons are not really translated, is there any tutorial on what those features are, like the betting or analysis stuff?
    Or if not, would it be possible to do a follow-up to this video? :)

      if you go to google transalte there is a handwriting input method. simply write the chinese word and it will translate for you :) eg: translate.google.com/#view=home&op=translate&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&text=%E5%A5%BD

    I signed up on Fox, but keep getting annoying red card notifications! Does anybody here know how to turn them off? Can't find an option in settings

    23:45 I'm confused. Do the ranks on Tygem and Fox not adjust based on your wins and losses? I know people smurf in video games, but how do you go 111-5 and not "level up"?

    Another plus for OGS that I don't think was emphasized enough: the registration is close to zero effort. If you have a Google/Facebook account, you just log in with that. I don't think I ever created a username/password on OGS. I just logged in with my Google account, OGS took my email username and started from that. Nothing new to remember. Have a Chromebook? You may be SOL with most of the servers you've covered, but with OGS you're on in 10 seconds.

      Agree, agree. Kids in schools use Chromebooks, and they can play instantly. And I also love that OGS has a completely separate forum for ideas, support, etc. The owners/developers are right there, answering questions and giving feedback. The automatic AI post-game reviews are unmatched. It’s the most quickly improving Go server in the world, in my opinion. forums.online-go.com

    I would like to see, if youre doing something with another Go channel. If it´s a competition between you and another player with a channel, a lecture, comments or a team competition, of some of your followers and some the rival followers, which get some preparation and reviews from you and your rival, like from a coach.

    I knew some of this, but I have always been scared to try the major Asian servers. Pandanet has changed a lot since I was last on it.
    What I really want guidance on is how to set up Lizzie on my computer. There seem to be at least two seperate programs that have to talk to each other. I am sure it is straightforward, but the documentation isn't very clear.

      I think Dwyrin is going to be very against the idea of making a video on how to set up a go computer software, based on his general stance on computer play.

    great video, but you missed a huge reason why people had wbaduk installed. it had a huge and awesome tsumego collection. i know ogs has one too and maybe the others, but like 7y ago wbaduk was the only one that had it. also wbaduk had the best news site for global news on go.

    Does the baduk club link work for anyone else? Their map doesn't load for me, either on phone or laptop, on firefox of chrome. Their search function only shows hopelessly unrelated places to where I am searching. I really don't know if it's just me but I presume Dwyrin would not be advertising for a defunct website.

    • @badukclub
      @badukclub Před 4 lety +2

      Unfortunately, we've been hearing that a lot lately, so it isn't just you. We haven't yet figured out what the issue is, but I appreciate that you tried it out on multiple platforms and browsers, that helps give us some insight into the issue.

      @@badukclub Guys, it was so easy... I tried again (mozilla on Ubuntu) and nothing... then i installed HOLA free internet (free VPN), changed my location to the USA (im from the Netherlands)... and fixed it!!! Oh, and maybe I might have deactivated my addblocker to in the process... But check it... it works... install HOLA unblocker and set it to a foreign country and it will probably block the map, cheers, Almer
