Take 2, Lady Madonna, The Beatles (up-tempo piano solo cover 😅🎹)

One of my many old time favorite Beatles songs. I know I play it way faster than Paul McCartney does, but somehow I always end up playing the song like this, in this up-tempo ragtime style.

Thank you! It's such a great great song, always liked it so much, already as a young child. On every level imaginable this McCartney song is a winner: groove, chords, lyrics, voice, arrangement, melodies...just a stunning Beatles song 👍🏻🎹👍🏻

yes, We All Stand Together is also one my absolute favorites. Fantastic song. But it's really very much a voice-orchestra piece, so: it's really very difficult to play a more or less acceptable & listenable cover of it on just one acoustic piano..

Yes, of course, you're absolutely right. That's also why I gave it the "sub-title" 'up-tempo piano solo cover'.
And yes, one of my main struggles with it, is to play it (indeed) fast(er), but still: controled, which I am still mastering to do properly..
But, apart from that: this is 'just' my own take on this very well known & classic popsong. Like there are sooooo many more to be heard, here on CZcams.
And also: don't forget that éven Paul McCartney himsélf plays sometimes an altered version: for example at his home studio, about three years ago, see CZcams, where he plays this same song almost half as slów, while accompanying himself on a electric piano. And albeit make a haunting slow blues of it.
Or, think of how he alters his own wonderful song "Calico Skies", which on the classic album version is like an acoustic guitar ballad kind of love song, and during his live shows nowadays a way more uptempo band effort.
In other words: also there, as in this song, many options are possible.
See my humble take of Lady Madonna as 'just' one of those :)
