  • Almost 5 crore teenagers are eligible to cast their first vote and yet a majority are not even on the voters' list. They haven't even bothered to get their names enrolled. What explains these startling numbers? If they are the future of the country, why are they not interested in their own future? We asked young voters to tell us why. Also, on this episode of Dance of Democracy, we take you behind the scenes to understand how an election page is put together and the creative liberties political parties take when they register their political outfits with the election commission.

It's EC's official data that 70% who turned 18 yrs not even registered themselves to get the Voters ID.

Because final exams are going on for universities, some reside far from their voting Constituencies. There should be alternatives for students, to cast their votes if they are in colleges outside the state.
