COUNTRY BAR OWNERS, DJ's VS LINE DANCING

Unscripted!!! Working in country clubs for over 20 years I have watched profits for bar and DJ's dwindle. My personal thought on the current state of country bars and my views on the negative impact of line dancing. DJ's are afraid to voice their opinion but I can care less. This is to help all to make money and keep country music alive.

great video. not having the same experience here though. line dances are huge no doubt. but in my DJ sets at a mid sized local country two step and cumbias are still king. of course i'm in south texas. i'll be on the lookout though.

Yeah I play in Texas a lot also. As a matter fact I'm on my way to Austin tomorrow morning to play at Mavericks and a couple other events for Fourth of July. Texas is one of the last holdouts as states like Arizona California and Nevada are almost 100% Line Dance now which is very sad cause a lot of financial difficulties for a lot of these bars.
