Despite what happened with numbers or whatever I truly admire this woman simply as a strong woman. We don't see that much even today. Male or female everyone is so obsessed with discriminating and insulting whoever that seems strong or eally capable of making a change. And I saw how people have shown so much hate towards Danu for being nice, come on people IT'S HIS SHOW. And it's for the public, do you expect him to show hate and spread negativity?! He is simply doing what needs to be done. This show is not about politics and i think u all should see her for who she is. And stop humiliating her so much just because she read some numbers wrong. Don't forget the fact that once a great politician said 'PAKAYA' in the so called parliament too.

Of course she should be able to read and write in Sinhala සිංහල. Her high school career, 4years, was in a Maha Vidyalaya school which is off Colombo. It maintains everything in Sinhala and all the children are from very humble background, hardly any English is practiced there. Also anybody who does politics in Srilanka has to know Sinhala, the main language of communication, otherwise he/she will have no place Srilanka !
