A while back, while still in office, Rosy Senanayeka hosted an event at the mayoral mansion to empower women. Guess who attended 😥. All the fancy spanchy ladies from Colombo 7, dressed in designer clothing attended. Now tell me what empowering did they need? Not to mention, a beautiful humongous cake from the Colombo Hilton and catered food. Just disgusting. The common man's hard earned tax money used unethically....
Rosy, if you read this please tell me what grounds you had to fund such a lavish party and name it " empowering women". Makes me sick in the stomach.

Ok my honest opinion is that I don’t really care what rosy has done, Things she has done was never highlighted maybe because there weren’t anything much to highlight even for the “women in our society” but as a women myself I see rosy as a fearless women to entire politics young and stay so long; as she said she had a tough time ; she wasn’t loved by all for the things she said or the things she’s done. It’s sad to know you really haven’t done much to others but her self. Plus everting which comes out every’S mouth doesn’t necessarily mean the truth or their beliefs. They act and believe so very differently at their homes.
Loving pets and loving animals are two whole different concepts. Loving pets doesn't mean you necessarily love every other animal. Hypocrites!

Voted her as we need more female representation in parliament and for me females are symbols of compassion. What she did to poor stray dogs in Colombo proved she's opposite. Such a disappointment. Not interest in watching this interview although I usually watch most of Danu's interviews. Just wanted to put my disappointment out there as a person who voted her.
One more thing don't call yourself an animal lover when you eat animals.

I don't agree to killing dogs, but Sri Lankans are soo irresponsible nobody looks after a stray dog, but wants the dogs to be around.
It is a big health problem, and there should be strict rules regarding animal keeping..
We spend millions of public money for vaccinating humans against Rabies which can be saved if we had a proper policy regarding pets all around the country.
We are country still having Rabies deaths which is extremely preventable..

She has done much for women and children of this country through legislation changes in a country where politicians are not bothered about upgrading the legal system. But people don't realise that.
