Discovered your videos recently. The ultra-marathon video made me genuinely laugh out loud. I'm working my way through all of them. Just wanted to say thank you for producing such brilliant content.
Thank you! 🙂 It’s a bit of a mix on here so hope you enjoy!
Great video Stephen, and that’s such a beautiful location. I’d never trust myself on a paddle board, I know for a fact I’ll end up in the water at some point 😂 a canoe is probably more my style. All the best, Brian.
Beautiful colours in this video. The trees match your beard 🤩
😂😂😂 that they do. This was in Autumn last year but just getting around to posting it. The Lake District is incredible in Autumn
I think its an environmental agency buoy for real-time monitoring of water quality.
Great bit of kit. Love watching ❤❤
Thanks Alan!
Where was the waves 🌊 😂 😂
Wow looks speedy wouldn't mind a cruise on that! 🏄🏼 Also looks like a stunning place for a paddle! 😍 Great video 👏🏼
Lake District has some amazing spots for paddle boarding!
Can i please ask what your deck bag is?
It’s the Red deck bag, it’s brilliant
great scenery - looks more like autumn than spring/summer. FOR A 14KG board, it takes up a hell of a lot of room when packed - that backpack was the same size as you. stupid question - what happens if you puncture it when youre out on the water? is it compartmentalised or do you just sink?
It’s 11kg, takes up a lot less room than my 12.6’ board that’s about 3kg heavier. But Paddleboards in general are much larger than something like a dingy or a pack raft because their construction is incredibly strong to take the high pressures. A typically dingy/packraft gets pumped to about 1.5PSI, this will take 22PSI.
The high pressure gives it rigidity.
If it burst on the water yeah you sink which is why a PDF is essential. Some boards are double chambered but that adds to the weight.
They drove a JCB over a board to show how durable they are. Bursting on the water is incredibly unlikely.
Oh and yes this was shot last October
Hold on to your hats, folks! Stephen Sir has spotted something mysterious in the lake! 😂 Could it be a lost civilization? Tune in to find out next time on Stephen J Reid...its cool
😂 unsolved mystery this time!
Dunno why, but always assumed that those boards were solid :-)
The non inflatable ones are, but then you can’t stick them in the boot of your car.
Have you had your Sup out in the surf yet? Leathal craic!
Nope, never surfed in my life so so t think I’d last long🙈
Go on small waves you will be grand
@@stephengraham6194 I’ll try it eventually. Want to get out more on the sea on my board
