Why i dont see any counter reacted moving of Belt ? When motor is pushing leg down - motor and harness need to push upward-front direction. But on video motor moving with leg down = passive.

Dude, all the literature tells you not to do stuff like that when transitioning. I went "barefoot" in 2010 (I was 47) and haven't looked back since. I did the Tough Mudder in Vibrams and they were brilliant. Ran up the "Everest" no issues. No slipping in the mud. But now that Vivo and Vibram are insanely expensive I don't buy them anymore. For me, I don't wear socks with them so when you get wet it doesn't bother you. (at least I have no problem with wet bare feet)

I'm about half way in, at the gopro in the hole. Just a coffee shop engineering thought: Perhaps for the next time you've got to lower a camera in water like that, attach a fin to the back of the camera case or on the rope, just above the camera. The theory being that to may prevent/minimize the spinning. Maybe a single plane fin or a double fin, either parallel or in a cross arrangement. Just a random thought. Great vid. Thanks for this! I’ve never been here but I’m current going down the rabbit hole, researching these types of shoes. I’ve always preferred to go bearfoot since childhood, where possible. Then we moved south (USA) and I’ve kind of grown tired of getting stung by ants. But I HATE wearing shoes! When I heard of these I thought maybe they’d provide a happy compromise. I feel disconnected with normal shoes on…kind of like I did when I first started driving an automatic car after learning on a manual. I guess I like being able to “feel” the ground beneath me, even when driving.😂 But anywho… thanks again! Btw… the rest of the content here looks great too! I just subscribed 👍🏼

i bought vivo hiking *shoes* years ago, claimed to be grippy and waterproof. They were neither, I was slipping on things I didn't realise it was possible to slip on, they were soaked and bacteria factories after the first use.
