Beautiful, quaint town, and everything is built out of stone. That amplifies sound to the extent you could probably hear someone sneeze from blocks away

I know from the trailer that Dalton's 1986 Aston is in the film. My generation's Bond cars begins with the submarine Lotus and ends with the phone controlled BMW with a tough German woman's voice. The Db 5 is for Generation1 , This DB 5 is clearly a fiber glass kit car, one out of perhaps 6. Sounds like a high revving, 4cyl, motorcycle engine under the hood.
Imagine when the editor doing editing whole footage, all they see is people with the smartphone every corner of the footage xD xD xD, no more retake again
The side glass in the db5 is probably removed and replaced with polycarbonate sheet for safety, original db5 side window glass is not safety glass which shatters into little bits, it is like regular window glass which shatters into large razor sharp shards
Reposting old answer: They built several AM DB5 replicas. Think it was eight of them. Carbon fiber body and BMW engine. But they also used one real very expensive original for scenes when Bond & Swann arriving in Matera, Italy, checking into a hotel, strolling in the city, kissing. Then all hell breaks loose; with production crew using all the replicas for all car chase scenes, AM driven by two british racing drivers, one of them being Ben Collins, former The Stig on Top Gear.
When you go to the cinema, is the screen in portrait mode......of course not, so please film in landscape mode.....................unless you are filming Jack and the Bean Stalk.
Yes it really annoys me. I got into an argument with a woman. She was all about viewing on her phone (vertically obviously), and i was about adhering to a !6:9 format. She did not understand the concept of sticking to a universal format. in fact she got more angrier every time i said "format".

Dark Matter the cameras they use are much larger in order to film in better quality and so they can zoom in on things, also some directors prefer getting a cameraman on a helicopter in order to give it that “realistic feel”

He's the best Bond ever
Totally agree, a very hard actor to follow for the next Bond. Daniel has really brought a real rawness to the character.
Bond virtually lives in Italy... just about every movie features some Italian city/town or scenery...

So friggin awesome. What beautiful village settings and the style of the car and the exhaust sounds. Damn!
I am so looking forward to this next Bond movie
If Jaguars are made for villains, Aston Martins are for the heroes.
I admit, this idea was cooler than doing it in Basingstoke
Because of the release date delay there is talk of renaming the new Bond film “No time to die another day”

like every other James Bond film?

Bond films tend to use mostly practical effects.
It's a car chase, so they will a car. That's how it works🤣🤣.
Pretty impressive stuff =^)
Good scenes but for gods sake people if you’re going to film something with your phone, hold the damn thing sideways! (Landscape)

Tutt Tutt ...Lol ...Me too ( and every straight Male )
you mean that nice pair...of parked scooters to the left? Me too. ;-)
Don't worry, they will speed it up and make it look fast for the movie.
The Second Unit is the scenes where the actors are not visible to the audience so stand ins can double their scenes.
Wow they're really going out on this movie . All the stunts in the driving is real . kind of shocked
What type of exhaust the DB5 has? It louder then the motorcycle.
It's supposedly got a BMW motorcycle engine in it.
