Thank you for saying that you liked the review... In regards to your future upgrade from the Mazda, I think this Civic Hybrid set up with is a FANTASTIC choice. It is absolutely a great alternative to your current car. I'd wager, if there was a way to keep both, perhaps keeping both could be in the cards?
Should you get the car in August, it would be a great performer and daily driver, and if possible, keeping the 6 speed manual for the weekends or a milk run would be fun too, no?

As in, 100% AGREED!!!
Key word - greed! The mark-ups at dealerships is not at something that is fair, nor reasonable. I honestly view it as a money grab and nothing else...
So many factors are in play with shipping, chips, geopolitical stuff, and a slew of other things... This is a far cry away from simple supply and demand...
All in all, its a fantastic car and I wish anyone that wants to get one, the best of luck, as this car is a very wise purchase (long term)

In regards to the system, its components, the functionality and reliability, along with longevity, it is VERY solid...
It has been around for a while and from what I've read/researched and from personally driving one several times (friends car since 2017), there is nothing but praise for this set up ...
If you may, please look at the illustration at 3:36
This is a far better representation of the Honda system in my opinion....
In all honesty, I would be so happy to hear this system used in multiple other cars from multiple other manufacturers...
It is a VERY efficient and clever and advanced design... I absolutely LOVE it, personally...

Very... very reliable, dependable, and headache free... it is a VERY clever design, a very efficient system, and a very advanced way of implementing the motor, engine, drivetrain, etc, in one phenomenal package...
