I love that they put in the famous, ancient Dishonoured clip of Mike's sniper pistol shot. Haven't seen that referenced for a while. Truly one of the central pillars of Oxbox lore.

Probably the worst canon thing to happen to sonic is when his two children get deleted from existence.

So happy that Mike put a music round in this quiz. If there is one thing that is consistently good in Sonic games, it is the music.
Disappointed Sonic R didn't make an appearance though. That game has some amazing music.
Weird how it was about a movie they starred in though.
I still believe that every Sonic game after Adventure 2 and before Mania can be categorized as "life support for a great soundtrack."

Here in PAL territory, Sonic CD had the same soundtrack as its Japanese incarnation - including the legendary (albeit dubiously-named) 'Toot Toot Sonic Warrior'.

I was going to complain that I had mistaken Fang the Sniper for Nack the Weasel, but apparently they are different names for the same character.
That's the name he was billed under for Triple Trouble but it's the same regional issue as Robotnik/Eggman.
Slightly curious as to how they'd score that.

It's so weird hearing it called Sega Genesis when in Australia it was called a Mega Drive. No idea why the name was changed for our market, but that's what it was called.
Its called the mega drive everywhere except america cause the name megadrive was already copyrighted or trademarked in the US
Likewise with the Sega CD, which a lot of us knew as the Sega Mega CD.

EDIT: OK I lied, I am gonna reference the video: the fact that Mike somehow remembered one of the best OXBOX moments in history: when Jane AND Andy said *"There's NO way you're gonna kill him from here with a pistol"* - and Mike _immediately_ does exactly that, without hesitation. @@aardbei54 surprising, got a 27. As for the rest, if you want to give it a shot play Generations first. It may be 10 years old but it has the Classic mechanics along with the Modern mechanics. There are some early Modern Sonic games that are good like the Adventures but not Big the Cat, unless you like fishing.
I'll forever be salty about that "stay still long enough for an instant Game Over" mechanic. I just wanted to listen to the Past music! XD; The Verdant Zone quiz threw me a bit, it's been forever since I've played the Game Gear games.
Mad props to Mike for playing that last song, my absolute favorite sonic song.

Personally I didn't feel like the glitches were a problem unless you intentionally ran into them. That said it didn't feel like a Sonic game, it was missing something. I think it was the characters speed, like somehow Sonic, Shadow and Blaze are fast but everyone else move like snails. The jump attacks too. Didn't feel right.
