I have a 2.5 boxster and you can be sure that it's pretty quick ! Offcourse the S version is a bit quicker but not that much. Allso basic version is more reliable and witthout borescoring.
Yeah probably isn't too much difference in reality. I think there all great cars!

There's a difference. Some difference between 2.5 and 2.7. Huge difference between 2.5 and 3.2. I own the 3.2 and bought it over the 2.7. Dynamics are similar, however. Both good. Cheers. @@RicsCars

No such thing as a poor mans Porsche. The servicing & parts are the same . I should know as I bought a well tidy 03 986 which was on 72,000 eight months ago with FSH . The car was a steel at 6.5k in my opinion but have spent over £2000 on basic mechanics. I love this car to bits & every time I take her out is an event.
Agreed! Cheaper to buy which makes them great value. But still offer all the great things you'd expect from any Porsche.

Don't worry. Boxsters will stay affordable for some time to come. Porsche built A LOT of them. They aren't hard to come by, and many for sale at all times.
