In Europe very few countries allow guns for self defense. My country the Czech Republic allow us to carry and actively encourage it. Most other places such as Germany you need a small arms licence to carry a blank gun but the police encourage you to keep it loaded with pepper rounds and keep it on you for personal protection. There are plenty of vids on here that show you the affect of a point blank hit from a blank round and trust me the pepper rounds hurt a lot. Even wearing sun glasses. People who think blanks for self defence is stupid are most likely American. In most European countries and my country (New Zealand) almost no criminals have guns especially pistols so there’s almost no case where if you were to pull a blank gun on a criminal, they would want to challenge that.
I understand this and have been training extensively with many firearms. I recently got the Kuzey A100 9mm PAK and personally I would not fire a warning shot. Persons attacking you act fast and packing your PAK in a bag is not preferred. You need to access that fast and with confidence. I suggest practicing actively in a mirror without your mag loaded to pull and aim. Do it allover your home and learn the capability. As they taught us, you must be one with this... it is not a toy. Respect it and it will save your life, always take cover. This does not fire real projectiles, so always take cover before and during engagements of fire.
Yes, I suggest doing rollovers over the bed until you can land on your feet with your 'side arm/weapon' drawn, cooked and pointing at the 'Perp' Also you should practice drawing your 'side arm/weapon' until you can draw it, spin it around your finger until you can catch it pointing at the 'Perp' and dont forget to practice saying " feeling lucky punk, ay are you?" I would recommend a small revolver (Zoraki 2'') for self defense as you can load them with freely available cattle killing ammunition. In a close combat situation a put on shot with a blank gun loaded with this sort of ammunition is almost as effective as a live round. The pressure is five times higher than in a normal blank round and is devastating on contact.
Late reply but those industrial bonkers are 9 by 17mm 3690 bar and 9 mm standard blanks are 9 by 22 mm at 450 bar. So essentially 8 times the pressure. But I don’t think the gun is meant to cycle or shoot something like that without breaking.

i have a friend who lives in the uk he had someone break into his house at night he heard them coming upstairs he had a blank gun all he had to do was point it around the corner of his bedroom door and fire a few times the sound and the flashing was enough to make him run it can work but if you are out in the real world most of the time you won't have the distance to pull it out . if they are going to mug or attack you they wont let you know they will make it look like they are going to walk past pull a knife or real gun when close enough to grab you it happens so fast the only way this will work is if you suspect everyone of wanting to hurt or mug you then you end up pulling a gun on random people who walk to close and you become the accidental mugger

Nothing has really changed, you're still on your own for 5-10 minutes minimum if you call the police, and we live in a world where it's common knowledge that average people are rarely prepared to defend themselves. It's a mad position to be in... the only option is "instant arming", the legal term for "using an everyday item as a weapon". Even then, the police/courts treat that how they see fit, and have the power to deem literally any object an offensive weapon. There was a case where a hedgehog was thrown at someone, the police got involved, and they classed a live hedgehog as an offensive weapon to charge them! Honestly, if you can justify carrying something in public which you will probably never use, and almost certainly never be caught with (as long as you're genuinely sensible and pay attention to where isn't wise to carry), it begs the question of why not? If you need it, it's there, and that knowledge can be a powerful tool... genuine confidence is incredibly intimidating itself, people don't tend to pick on those who aren't intimidated easily. You find that the more capable someone is of defending themselves physically, the less they'll ever need to, because people who harm others are generally very good at sensing fear because that's their weapon. If you're used to easily intimidating people, someone with a lack of fear is a big warning sign. Sad really, the people who don’t need to worry get left alone, and people who merely appear an easy target attract all the trouble. If you do genuinely have to defend yourself, you're having a seriously shit day regardless though.. If you badly injure someone who attacked you, and it's your word against theirs, there's every possibility they'll play the victim. Avoiding trouble altogether is the best way.. when bad shit happens you hear the same phrases over and over, no one ever saw it coming, it was out the blue, etc. Honestly, most people don't pay enough attention to the world around them, or they're too afraid of "making a scene" to avoid possible, but not definite danger (every thief/mugger/pickpocket/creepy stranger will always have a flawless cover story, and turn you into the bad guy if you call them out before they act). If someone is clearly paying you too much attention, and you return the favour, it puts people off whatever they're thinking about. If you genuinely think you're about to get mugged, make the first move, and approach THEM. It's kinda off-putting for anyone to be approached by a total stranger who won't shut up, and seems a bit weird and crazy, but if you're thinking about mugging someone, and they introduce themselves and won't shut up, you're probably gonna pick someone else. If not, you were gonna get mugged anyway, and you saw what they looked like under no pressure. Knowledge is power though, there are plenty of places where people value life so little that they'll stab a stranger for not giving them a cigarette.

Hello, it depends on the type of the revolver. There are blank revolvers that use regular 9mm PAK rounds and also there are models that use 9mm RK. Type and construction of the blank gun determines the caliber and type of ammo it should use.
Where can you buy this type of gas pistol with which you can fire a catridge containing pepper and which is intended for self-defense. Most of the stores I inquired about only have gas guns where the barrel is completely closed.
actually you wanna hold onto 2-3 blanks. a front firing blank gun can be effecticely used at point blank range to heavily injure people. especially if you have CS gas cartidges. at no point did you mention the safety. zoraki blank guns usually don't have a safety so in your case it would be redundant but most blank guns have a safety feature. i have a double action blank gun with thumb safety as example, so i just leave a blank cartridge in the chamber and the hammer not cocked. also, while this should be common sense, the more you shoot, the more obvious it becomes that you're using a blank gun. and if you blew your whole mag beforehand, the guy knowing your gun is empty and a replica, that would probably end very badly for you also trigger discipline dude. keep your thinger off the trigger unless you gonna squeeze it.

Also trigger discipline is paramount for really everything, blanks are dangerous , airsoft can be dangerous. You should always practice good discipline because it also crosses over to real guns, where is really counts.
If you can't carry a pistol with a round in the chamber, perhaps consider carrying a revolver instead. Not only does racking the first round into the chamber take precious seconds to do, it is also the point at which the gun is most likely to malfunction. Also, you should probably rethink that bag. An attacker is not going to wait around while you unzip it to get your gun. You can get bags with built-in holsters that are easy to access, or maybe you could find a bag with a non-zippered compartment that could have a holster added to it. To be honest though, off-body carry is far from ideal, and you should carry in a holster if it is legal for you to do so.

A blank gun can cause serious damage in a close distance from the flare that comes out from the front of the gun (front fire gun). I wouldn't recommend using it for self defense but it is useful in a close up range from a person standing in front of you.

Ok i consulted a Friend who has experience in robberies like this. He Said all Good except you need to Keep whatever weapon on ur person (concealed Carry) because in stress like this is he would grab ur bag and definately not let you reach for whatever inside it. Friendly advise.
In Europe very few countries allow guns for self defense. My country the Czech Republic allow us to carry and actively encourage it. Most other places such as Germany you need a small arms licence to carry a blank gun but the police encourage you to keep it loaded with pepper rounds and keep it on you for personal protection. There are plenty of vids on here that show you the affect of a point blank hit from a blank round and trust me the pepper rounds hurt a lot. Even wearing sun glasses. Remember these rounds are designed to give you time to run away not kill someone so for those talking about well you shoot me with your blanks and I will shoot you with my 40call remember this is about Europe not about the USA. Here in Europe you wouldn't get anywhere near a real gun for carry or self defense unless your lucky enough to live in the Czech Republic ✌️

It's all about improvisational self defense based on where you live. I always carry pepper spray & a very sharp knife. In the winter because I'm wearing more clothing I carry more self defense gear cause I unfortunately live in a bad area w/ a decent amount of crime.
My winter carry
1. Two folding lock back knives 1 big, 1 small
2. Two small canisters of pepper spray.
3. A lighter
4. A small flashlight
5. A collapsible baton
I have successfully defended myself with my knife on more than a few occasions & also pepper spray.

People who think blanks for self defence is stupid are most likely American. In most European countries and my country (New Zealand) almost no criminals have guns especially pistols so there’s almost no case where if you were to pull a blank gun on a criminal, they would want to challenge that.
I understand this and have been training extensively with many firearms. I recently got the Kuzey A100 9mm PAK and personally I would not fire a warning shot. Persons attacking you act fast and packing your PAK in a bag is not preferred. You need to access that fast and with confidence. I suggest practicing actively in a mirror without your mag loaded to pull and aim. Do it allover your home and learn the capability. As they taught us, you must be one with this... it is not a toy. Respect it and it will save your life, always take cover. This does not fire real projectiles, so always take cover before and during engagements of fire.
Yes, I suggest doing rollovers over the bed until you can land on your feet with your 'side arm/weapon' drawn, cooked and pointing at the 'Perp'

I would recommend a small revolver (Zoraki 2'') for self defense as you can load them with freely available cattle killing ammunition.
In a close combat situation a put on shot with a blank gun loaded with this sort of ammunition is almost as effective as a live round. The pressure is five times higher than in a normal blank round and is devastating on contact.

Late reply but those industrial bonkers are 9 by 17mm 3690 bar and 9 mm standard blanks are 9 by 22 mm at 450 bar. So essentially 8 times the pressure. But I don’t think the gun is meant to cycle or shoot something like that without breaking.

i have a friend who lives in the uk he had someone break into his house at night he heard them coming upstairs he had a blank gun all he had to do was point it around the corner of his bedroom door and fire a few times the sound and the flashing was enough to make him run it can work but if you are out in the real world most of the time you won't have the distance to pull it out . if they are going to mug or attack you they wont let you know they will make it look like they are going to walk past pull a knife or real gun when close enough to grab you it happens so fast the only way this will work is if you suspect everyone of wanting to hurt or mug you then you end up pulling a gun on random people who walk to close and you become the accidental mugger

Tony Oliver There used to be a time not that long ago when it was totally normal to carry a small sword or a dagger, just in case, because it was prudent to do so. Nothing has really changed, you're still on your own for 5-10 minutes minimum if you call the police, and we live in a world where it's common knowledge that average people are rarely prepared to defend themselves. It's a mad position to be in... the only option is "instant arming", the legal term for "using an everyday item as a weapon". Even then, the police/courts treat that how they see fit, and have the power to deem literally any object an offensive weapon. There was a case where a hedgehog was thrown at someone, the police got involved, and they classed a live hedgehog as an offensive weapon to charge them! Honestly, if you can justify carrying something in public which you will probably never use, and almost certainly never be caught with (as long as you're genuinely sensible and pay attention to where isn't wise to carry), it begs the question of why not? If you need it, it's there, and that knowledge can be a powerful tool... genuine confidence is incredibly intimidating itself, people don't tend to pick on those who aren't intimidated easily. You find that the more capable someone is of defending themselves physically, the less they'll ever need to, because people who harm others are generally very good at sensing fear because that's their weapon. If you're used to easily intimidating people, someone with a lack of fear is a big warning sign. Sad really, the people who don’t need to worry get left alone, and people who merely appear an easy target attract all the trouble.
If you do genuinely have to defend yourself, you're having a seriously shit day regardless though.. If you badly injure someone who attacked you, and it's your word against theirs, there's every possibility they'll play the victim. Avoiding trouble altogether is the best way.. when bad shit happens you hear the same phrases over and over, no one ever saw it coming, it was out the blue, etc. Honestly, most people don't pay enough attention to the world around them, or they're too afraid of "making a scene" to avoid possible, but not definite danger (every thief/mugger/pickpocket/creepy stranger will always have a flawless cover story, and turn you into the bad guy if you call them out before they act). If someone is clearly paying you too much attention, and you return the favour, it puts people off whatever they're thinking about. If you genuinely think you're about to get mugged, make the first move, and approach THEM. It's kinda off-putting for anyone to be approached by a total stranger who won't shut up, and seems a bit weird and crazy, but if you're thinking about mugging someone, and they introduce themselves and won't shut up, you're probably gonna pick someone else. If not, you were gonna get mugged anyway, and you saw what they looked like under no pressure. Knowledge is power though, there are plenty of places where people value life so little that they'll stab a stranger for not giving them a cigarette.

Hello, it depends on the type of the revolver. There are blank revolvers that use regular 9mm PAK rounds and also there are models that use 9mm RK. Type and construction of the blank gun determines the caliber and type of ammo it should use.

actually you wanna hold onto 2-3 blanks. a front firing blank gun can be effecticely used at point blank range to heavily injure people. especially if you have CS gas cartidges. at no point did you mention the safety. zoraki blank guns usually don't have a safety so in your case it would be redundant but most blank guns have a safety feature. i have a double action blank gun with thumb safety as example, so i just leave a blank cartridge in the chamber and the hammer not cocked.
also, while this should be common sense, the more you shoot, the more obvious it becomes that you're using a blank gun. and if you blew your whole mag beforehand, the guy knowing your gun is empty and a replica, that would probably end very badly for you

Also trigger discipline is paramount for really everything, blanks are dangerous , airsoft can be dangerous. If you can't carry a pistol with a round in the chamber, perhaps consider carrying a revolver instead.
Not only does racking the first round into the chamber take precious seconds to do, it is also the point at which the gun is most likely to malfunction.
Also, you should probably rethink that bag. An attacker is not going to wait around while you unzip it to get your gun.
You can get bags with built-in holsters that are easy to access, or maybe you could find a bag with a non-zippered compartment that could have a holster added to it.
To be honest though, off-body carry is far from ideal, and you should carry in a holster if it is legal for you to do so.

A blank gun can cause serious damage in a close distance from the flare that comes out from the front of the gun (front fire gun). I wouldn't recommend using it for self defense but it is useful in a close up range from a person standing in front of you.

There won't be any time to zip open the bag, the robber can jump you with a knife while you try to open the bag. If he is carrying a real gun, well, you could be lucky as he may only take your bag and your conceal blank gun is spared. My 2 cents 😂

This Zoraki model is clearly a blatant Glock copy, and many others are obvious Beretta 92 or M9 copies, many revolvers are Dan Wesson copies. Are originals not copyright-protected?
They are, they have a level of resemblance they can not esceed. But the look is still very much like the real one. Plus, the main copyright is for the brand, not that much for the shape of the model itself...

Money should always be kept seperate from the arm. Money should easier for them to get as an attempt to deescalate a threat. It is possible to get the money back after drawing arm. Money is worth less. Arm is worth more as it offers protection of life which is worth most.
