Playing Chopin's music requires thinking and cogitation. One of the comments mentioned that this is an easiest waltz to perform. While this might be true, and technically Chopin can be easier to perform than, say, Rachmaninoff, but when playing Chopin's music (no matter how hard it is technically) you really need to tell the story of (pick one or more) - life, love, happiness, tragedy, joy, sorry... And Khoa remarkable did it in this waltz. Great job!
exactly ! there is no such thing as easy Chopin song, that's why he is Chopin .
But the fun part about music is that you dont need to play it how it was originally made/composed. You can just tell your own tale through music. For example, how you found the piece, what emotions the piece awakes from you. Instead of just copying all the original composers expressions, feelings, intentions. For me the piece is well played if the sound comes from heart even if its originally a sad piece and it's played with joy.
I couldn't agree more! Story is so important in music, it gives direction and a sense of purpose to all those notes played. I will be sure to be more aware of this when I play or listen to music from now on.
Slava Makovsky - Piano Covers Rachmaninoffs stuff is hard because of his deformed hands but also because he was so hauntingly evocative just like Chopin.
Slava Makovsky - Piano Covers 100th like you’re welcome
Thanks for watching, everybody!! I hope you enjoyed my take on this piece - it was a joy to play Chopin :)
Khoa Tran Perfect Performance.
Khoa Tran Great job! You give it the right feeling and depth. Good use of the pedal
Good interpretation.
Khoa Tran Can you do Waltz in B Minor?
That's my favourite Waltz from Chopin
You guys have no idea how happy and relieved I am to see these wonderful comments! I'm always a little scared when it comes to playing classical music - not knowing if people will like or hate my interpretation. I'm self-taught and never really delved too much into reading music notes so I'm basically blind to most of the dynamics/expressions written out in scores. Instead, I rely on CZcams to get a good idea of how the melody goes, then the rest is just guesswork based on my instincts. But thanks to these comments, I feel more confident in my instincts than ever before. I hope to continue learning and sharing more classical (as well as non-classical) pieces with you guys and gals!
For days this song has been going through my head thinking: " where did I hear this? " Then I remembered:" Oh, Piano Tiles 2"
Iverson Paul Alay omg samiess, I was legit looking for the title of the piece on piano tiles 2. :))

@TheTage Show it doesnt really matter
Im 13 and I also played Waltz in A minor! Come check it out on my channel!
Awe love that
It's interesting how this is in A minor yet it still has a major feeling to it. Chopin you're awesome....
It's probably because pretty much every phrase ends on the relative major.
The piece opens with vi-ii-V-I in C major and then modulates back and forth between C major and A minor. It’s quite common to find pieces by Chopin, Mozart, Bach, etc, that modulate through two, three, or more keys during the piece, typically using accidentals rather than changing the formal key signature. But in this case, no change in key signature is needed between A minor and C major.
I never get tired of hearing this waltz, and I think the interpretation of this was absolutely wonderful to listen to
Me too, and thank you so much!
But the this made by a program a machine, you should listen to a real piano man
TheSupreme Chief Rub
Either you're joking or you're just inherently stupid. Khoa played this waltz
I got 2nd place in a piano competition playing this piece. I lost to a guy who played the same thing but faster 😐
Lellistair you didn't lose because he played it faster than you, judges know more about music than you do they understand that faster doesn't mean better the other guy just played it better
Is that this year?
John Doe that is so true, that is why the composers these days also are very robotic
Jumbo lol

Such a beautiful waltz, I can just a see a huge ball room, beautiful dresses and lovers dancing.
I know... The way those trills are placed sounded so romantic.. I feel the same about the piece.
samuel ariza Chopin's waltzes are not meant to be danced too
Amanda M *dances*
Amanda M Yes although Chopin's were not a traditional form of waltzes , in a piece like such as this with its elements and dynamics, cant help but at least visualise it.
samuel ariza 😄😄😄
2:20 it is my favourite moment, I could play it all day
Andrass ƒenriss 0:36 is my favorite musical phrase in the song
Same
Andrass ƒenriss 1:17

Johann Sebastian Bach nice
GHo bach home you can’t hendel this

Johann Sebastian Bach, you're not Johann Sebastian Bach, I am
Did you just
yo bach how ya duin
I used to play it when I was around 8 or 9. It brings so many memories and emotions I absolutely love this waltz
i like the slow interpretation. thanks for uploading!
HamAndCheese I hate it when people play it too fast with a bunch of rubato. It ruins the story of the song
What tempo do you suggest then?
federico villalba 60-75
Ur right actually but the music is good though i would give it a big thumbs up 👍
60-75 what?
So simple, both structurally, harmonically and melodically (but not technically :( ), but at the same time, so beautiful and emotional.
Easy but wonderfull piece, full of emotions
No..chopin piece is never easy this song play perfekt is not so..easy
@Vectrum its not played by a robot, the piece itself is added as audio file on video.
Man I like this one. This was my first Chopin. Such nice memories...
Don't stop until you complete every Chopin work in existence please!
I don't know why but I literally cried the whole time I listened to this. Bravo man, this and the interpretation is beautiful.
You play this song so incredibly beautifully I can’t even describe. Amazing to say the least!
henry: it's the JOY of CREATION William
This song is beautiful
That you for this so much! I've been looking for this piece for ages!
I Really love this song
Beautiful
Wow, I was not expecting this one, good job
ahh chopin's last waltz... the one i learnt first
to me this piece is one of chopins finest, it's so simple and yet still hauntingly beautiful. the a major section is just divine. i find it so nostalgic, it reminds me of the year 11 classroom i used to play this in. just beautiful, and a wonderful interpretation
Chopin can make the simplest notes sound so wonderful. And thank you!
no problem :)))
love this piece... this is actually the first classical song i learned... i suggest you try this song
nice :) this isn't actually classic though, it's from the romantic period.
Yup
This is why Piano Reader is awesome, and why I subscribed!
Very nice!
I played this ...and it's a wonderful piano music😍
When i listen to this piece,it kinda reminds me of my fun childhood memos i have, and it makes me wanna go back.
im watching this to remember myself how easy Chopin waltz's are and how hard 4:3 polyphony is. Man I should go back to practice Fantaise Impromtu:(
I love this waltz so much. I think it's even better than the Minute Waltz.
i really wish i could play this, but my piano doesn't have much keys... :'(
lol,i have the same problem. This is a piece which I think I could have played with some practise,as it is a bit slow, but I wont be able to play the E key on the rightmost octave on my 61 key keyboard
:(
thats not a problem just play it on a higher octave
at #0:57 ,the last octave plays two Es..61 key keyboards dont have that octave.it doesn't sound the same without those two
just higher or lower the octaves you dont have that's how I started 😉😉
And thats why, tell your friends that want a piano to get a full key one.
I don't know if it's me, but this sounds heroic to me, thanks chopin
Most beautiful song ever ahhh!!
Good job 👍 I love your videos keep it up 👍
It’s the Joy of Creation, William

There is this lady with whom I felt in love. Everytime I listen to this piece it brings a mixed emotions in me little happiness and somewhat sadness that we couldn't be together. She is a wonderful person I have ever known. Now she is married to another person!
P.S. She never knew how much I love her!
I see a start for all Chopin Waltzes coming up
I have a recital on this piece day after tommorrow. This was helpful :)

Surprisingly there isn’t a Henry Miller impersonator ranting about “The Joy Of Creation” in the comments.

Chopin c’est le meilleur ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great performance and also quite intricately played
I love this piece
One favorite piece.
Just an amazing piece
not published til 1955?? I am certain, Oscar Levant played it beautifully on Information, Please radio program. In fact, I came here specifically to hear it again as it haunted me for hours after hearing it played by that master.
I can almost fully play this song!

@@user-sm5cb4yv2h sorry to dissapoint you but I’m only 40 seconds in. I keep messing up some parts. Glad to see your almost finished. Good job.
Wow so beautiful
I want to keep track of my learning process, so I'm going to write it on here. I learned the part until 0:35 in the past, now I'm back on it. I recently learned 0:35 to 0:42 in 3 full days:) I'm trying to learn the fast part after 0:42 but it's so fast for me and I don't even know how I'll be able to play the bass too at the same time. I hope I can complete it.
The last notes are E and C because it is easy.
Deco gon learn this on my accordion lmao. The left hand part is very easy to implement onto the bass side, just gotta find the right keys! And probably a finger chart/official tutorial for the right hand sign.
Hermosa pieza grande chopin
Que pieza tan exquisita
Chopin is love, is life
was practising this on my keyboard but was once again sad bcause couldn't play all the notes(that dam E). / just got a brand new eletric piano and omfg am I happy I can play tha one E
