  • Adam Zyglis is the editorial cartoonist for the Buffalo News. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his work in 2015.
Over the last two decades, the number of cartoonists working in the US has shrunk remarkably and continues to dwindle. Whether for budgetary reasons or fear of alienating readers, many newspapers no longer keep a cartoonist on staff, to the detriment of their audiences and our larger public discourse.
Hear Adam discuss the pivotal role that editorial cartoonists play in our democracy, what we can learn by looking overseas, and why we must consider their work a vital act of engagement instead of a nostalgic tradition.

Thanks Sam! About half of it was. The talking head was C200 8 bit, but most of the b-roll is 12 bit, with a couple eos-r clips in there as well

@@pilotfield Thank you so much for the reply. This is fantastic, I was researching buying c200 or C300 or C70... and came across your video about your take on C200 the 444 12 bit. I really love the clean yet realistic look of your film, I am very close to making a decision.... Thank you for your videos! appreciate it.

@@samlovesfilm no problem! I don’t have any C300 experience but I still love the C200. I will say I got to work with a C70 not too long ago and really enjoyed that as well. Looks like they’re making it RAW compatible, so something to consider. But personally I don’t have any reason to move on from the C200
