The coolest thing about Billy Idol is that he triumphed over his addiction to heroin and still performs today. We all thought he was going to die for sure. He is a hero.
Shiiiit, I didn't know that. Give so many of our fave musicians succumbed to their heroin addiction & it's one of the tougher addictions to handle withdrawal
Rebel yell is a must
It is definitely coming very very soon
Yes yes and china girl
I suck at artist and songs. I know songs when I hear them that is about it
@@RobSquadReactions TODAY plz :p
@@darleneadams6844 David Bowie sings that, not Billy Idol.
This song is about Billy's sister getting married because she got pregnant. Billy's girlfriend at the time plays the bride in the video. Billy broke up with that girl. Billy's sister is still married.
Yeah I heard people saying that because she was pregnant that it was a shotgun wedding
That’s not what I’ve heard. I’ve heard this song is about Billy idol loving a women and marrying someone else while still loving the other women.
@@RobSquadReactions Billy said it was about a man seeing his girlfriend marrying someone else, while he was still in love with her.
His own sister's wedding was the catalyst for the song.
@@stevenweaver3386 I wonder if the Professor of Rock has covered this...
I was led to believe that a “white wedding” is getting back on heroin.
But I learned that as a kid...so I’m not sure.
The tough looks, the sneer, the fist... Billy Idol just so damn cool.
This man had the swag for sure
@@RobSquadReactions Rebel Yell & Rock the Cradle of Love. Both bangers.
When it comes to sneers there is Clint Eastwood and Billy Idol, thats bout it
@@ronrowley9367 you forgot Elvis. He made it cool.
Coolest man ever
REBEL YELL
EYES WITHOUT A FACE
and CATCH MY FALL
By Billy Idol
Thanks for the suggestion I’ll be sure to give them a listen
Flesh for Fantasy
Rebel Yell is one song I NEVER get tired of. That song is just epic.
@@RobSquadReactions Do not forget "Cradle of Love " if nothing else the video is definitely worth watching :P
YES!
Having only listened to rap music all your life, you have no idea what you've been missing. The more reactions you'll do, the more you'll start appreciating real instrumentation done by real musicians. Your ears are gonna thank you. Most reactors who are discovering the good old 70'-80's classics develop an intense love for saxophones and bass guitars.😊
much music today is build upon older classics. Especially music that is "sampling" from old classics" is used in modern rap. But at the same time there is a production of low quality in music - that is talentless music like "mumble-.rap" where you don't undrestand what the fuck is being saying. Too easy for talentless people to get some airtime in the radio.
He has so many good songs. You should listen to Rebel Yell, Cradle of Love, Catch My Fall, Eyes Without a Face, Mony Mony and Dancing With Myself 😂 long list but worth it!
I will for sure because this one was the vibes i like
@@RobSquadReactions he’s definitely one of my favourites ❤️
MONY MONY !!! Definitely❤
@@jodiidahoianfarmgirl4728 love that song! The music video on CZcams is different from the studio I think but I actually prefer it
Flesh for Fantasy
He has a great cameo in the comedy movie, The Wedding Singer, with Adam Sandler.
Oh my God! Reading your comment I'm going to have to go back and watch that movie again I mean what a classic reference they brought in Billy Idol for Wedding Singer how the crap that I missed that when I watched it the first time?????
“Billy Idol…No Way” great cameo….lol
@@rexsterlingbuchanan2929 its toward the end on the play…it’s friggin fantastic!
I LOVE that cameo.
Next Billy Idol video to do is, “ Rock the cradle of Love”
For sure thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your day
@@RobSquadReactions Yes! This song is a must... One of my favorite songs by him
@@RobSquadReactions , Cradle of Love might be his best
The girl in that video.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hearing this song on the car radio always made me drive faster. And I still love it. 40 years later.
First reaction person Ive found that doesnt pause the song every 12 seconds. Listen, vibe out then give a review is refreshing. Subscribed:)
These two are definitely some of my favourite reactors. Really love their vibe and spirit. Beautiful pair.
In my day if a woman got pregnant then the father might force them to get married. They were called Shot Gun weddings. That is what the song is about. You will even hear him say shotgun and "who is the only one?"
That’s crazy so they pretty much had to get married because dad said so. Thanks for the info Greg I appreciate it And you for stopping by
His sister was pregnant and gettin married...He was little angry and wrote this song in 20 min
Yep- it’s a Brit thing.
@@badgastein2 not really, it also was a big thing in deep south, mostly amongst the hillbillies
No, according to Billy idol himself in interviews, the song is about a guy watching the woman he loves marrying someone else. The term "little sister" is used in a slang way to refer to his ex-girlfriend.
Billy Idol is just so cool. His hair, his look, his voice and expressions. He's just a rebel and I love that.
Billy Idol - Rebel Yell (Official Music Video) 78M views
Coming up very soon thanks for stopping by!
eyes without a face by billy idol is amazing. also he was a huge heart throb of the 80s!!
I'll give it a listen for sure!
At 65 years old, all of the songs you've reacted too are familiar to me. I'm a rocker from The Hood. We subscribe because you are an awesome reactor. It's you.👍🏾🙆🏾♀️🎸🎶
We were all in love with Billy because he was a rebel. Hahaha 😂
Fabulosos 80'
One of my favorites is Mony Mony! Do more Billy Idol he's currently on tour
What a banger !!!! I love Billy. He is still rocking and keeping it real. What an incredible man and so sweet when you meet him. Always a hug and that killer grin.
Even in this days and age, Billy Idol is a constant at rock music festivals and he STILL makes music. He's the original punk rocker and even his newer tunes are phenomenal. You should check out:
Billy Idol - Break Me Down
Billy Idol - Body Snatcher
Billy Idol - Save Me Now
Billy Idol - Scream
Billy Idol - Whiskey & Pills
His Guitarist is Steve Stevens and they've been together a very long time and perfect fit. Eyes Without a Face is my favorite which is in honor of the French "Horror" flick from early 60's I think. White Wedding has parts to it and extended versions out there if you want to "chill" longer.
Had to come back in the Archives to watch this again. Billy is amazing. More, please. ;)
That was radio friendly 1980's punk rock
Im digging it for sure
Post punk, really. He started as Billy X in a punk band called Generation X. Idol was a later incarnation.
Billy Idol was huge in the '80s. I remember watching MTV as a kid and remembering MTV used to play so many different Billy Idol videos all the time
Billy has so many great hits. He had a song 6yrs ago called Save Me Now that I love!
Eyes Without a Face has always been my favorite. Rob the Cradle of Love, Dancin With Myself are great ones too.
Hi Bro . next song from Billy Idol --> Rebel yell ... Mony Mony ... Flesh for fantasy ... 😎👍
Thanks for stopping by i will give them a listen for sure!
@@RobSquadReactions 😎👍🎶
The whole punk rock vibe at the time was loud and angry, rebelling against the establishment, and the soft pop songs and disco of the early 70's. Definitely some life changing vibes going on. White Wedding is a great song to drive fast to, late on a Saturday night.
Billy Idol.😎badass
My favorite is and will always be Dancing with Myself
Billy is one of a kind, try "catch My Fall" it's a great tune.
He was awesome!!
The 80’s was a time of uninhibited excess.
First time I heard this song was at my grade 9 school dance. That was when my love for Billy began!!!
Absolute Rebel Yell!! The 80’s
thank you....i absolutely love this song
Oh man, the 80s! Great times. This was always on MTV.
Hey! Billy Idol is the stuff!!💙💙🙌🏼🙌🏼
Dude was awesome! voice, swag, scenery was all great
Probably my favourite Billy Idol song which isn't easy to pick just one. At my sister's wedding I requested the DJ play this tune for our dance :)
It's a nice day, for a light sweater.
It's a nice day, for a CARDIGAAAAAAAN!!!
😂
Good reaction....ty.....you are blessed too.🙃
Very fav Billy Idol song!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Billy Idol brought punk rock to the public. Radio stations actually played his songs. Punk rock and heavy metal were never played on the air.
I love billy idol love his songs he is a punk rock phenomenon 🎸🎶🎶🎶🎤
Flesh for Fantasy is amazing
Cradle of love ❤️ billy idol.
OMG...he was the bomb in the 80's. He was everywhere. We had posters on our walls. He still performs and sounds great. He did a stint in Vegas a few years ago at The House of Blues. He is an Icon.
Just a brilliant entertainer 💪
FLESH FOR FANTASY!!!!!!
I've been a fan of Billy Idol for 40 years I first heard him when I was 13 years old
One of my favorite artist..
Punk rock in the 80's yes that was a vibe back then.
"Eyes without a face" kicks ass.
He's Rock, punk Rock...awesome....
Cradle of Love. Please react.
You got it!
Billy Idol rooted in the London punk scene but went mainstream without losing that punky vibe!
Please react to "Rebel Yell" you will not regret it!
Thank you!✌❤🎶😁
Billy can sing this is a perfect 80s song
Awesome song, this and rebel yell, totally kick ass!
My fave singer from the 80's❤
Billy Idol was the King of Punk Rock in the 80's. We all wore those clothes and got that bleached blond haircut. He created a cultural phenomena. His best song is "Mony Mony".
Dancing with myself is definitely a must see/listen
For those of us that grew up in the era of MTV (no social media, cell phones, etc) this was an awesome video.
YES
Thanks for coming back Vincent you rock man!!
@@RobSquadReactions Hey dude, you are my favorite reactor of all those I have seen, but you are doing all the songs everyone else does. No one yet that I have seen has reacted to Kid Rock, ALL SUMMER LONG yet. And you have mentioned you have had haters, I have stated when you react to songs I dont like, but I do it politely lol
Billy was unique and most successful together with his congenial guitar partner Steve Stevens
I like the Mony Mony reaction so much I had to go back and see your other Billy Idol reactions. Epic!!
You are loved!
You are the best thing on the internet!!!
My favorite song by Billy Idol is Rock the Cradle of Love.
Rock the cradle of love.
Rock the cradle of love..
So the story is, I was 5 years old when this video came on, and I knew. I saw this man riding a motorcycle through the window of a church. I saw this man putting a crown of thorns on somebody's finger, I saw this man sneering at everybody, and I was like yep he's the one. And I told my mom, "I'm going to marry him someday". and my mom was like "Oh God, you're going to like THOSE ones, aren't you."
I still like those ones. And I still love Billy Idol.
I blew out some speakers crankin Billy. His Instagram has videos of his grand baby rocking out to his songs
I'm 75 yea I'm 75 years old And I'm And I'm a rock a granny The 1st concert took my son to was billy idol and the cult Hi was amazing San Francisco call palace my son's now 38 and he still remembers that day
oh yeahawesome reaction
Loved him, since he first came out! I was only 10!
Billy Idol is coming to my festival in my small town this summer. Bringing back music again...Whoohoo! I love me some Billy!!!!
Rock the Cradle of Love!!
Love Love Love Billy Idol. Have you ever looked up these singers to see what they look like today? Billy Idol looks the same but 30 years older because he is 30 years old. He looks like he is the younger Billy Idols dad now
I've watched several of your vids so far, and it still amazes me that you've not seen so many of these great 80s artists. Billy was always one of my favorites. He started out doing punk, and while he evolved into a pop / dance / hard rock mesh, he still kept his punk attitude. Steve Stevens was his guitarist, whom you might be aware of from the "Top Gun" Anthem, but given how many of these are new to you, maybe not. LOL. Check out Billy's "Shock to the System" too. I see others have already suggested several of his other big hits.
Billy Idol was one of the original Punk Rockers.
We love nice people. We love rock-n-roll
I like you because you don't want to like the music but yet you do. 😂 These videos begin my day. I have you with my first coffee.🤘👵 ☕
You're the best! that literally means so much to me thank you!
Love Billy Idol ! I had so many posters on my wall of Billy Idol. He was my rock crush ! Rebel Yell is the best
RSR my favorite reactors ,because you & Amber give respect& seem to enjoy 80s music

Flesh for fantasy is a must hear!
"Hope the Wedding goes well" 🤣
No Billy Idol can rock I think you enjoyed his music
You are having success because you are very likeable.
had to give ya an up vote to get ya off the 666 :P He did that song nearly 40 years ago and he still has a great voice
I’m here with ya, my guy.
Loved the whole song and the mood/scenery
Please do “Man in the Box” by Alice In Chains. Really enjoying your journey!!
I will for sure thank you so much for the suggestion Julie I hope you have a great rest of your day
@@RobSquadReactions I second this suggestion, Man In The Box or Would is a good place to start with Alice In Chains. I highly recommend going down the AIC rabbit hole, actually all of the Big 4 grunge bands. If you like songs that make you feel something, the grunge genre will do that. My top recommendations to start with:
Alice In Chains - Love Hate Love Live at The Moore
Pearl Jam - Black MTV Unplugged
Soundgarden - Outshined (studio version)
Nirvana - In Bloom (studio)
Temple Of The Dog - Hunger Strike (official version)
Stone Temple Pilots - Big Empty (studio from The Crow soundtrack)
I love seeing people explore music that is new to them and you're doing a fantastic job!!
Man in the Box is amazing
several songs I know you guys will love: Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down. and Don't Dream its Over by Crowded House.
