Put the fender bolt through from the back using the washers. Tighten it up enough so that the fender is secure. Then another larger washer, the light, final larger washer, and a new 8mm nut, tighten. That is what I had to do. It works.
Awesome! Thank you for that, I appreciate it!
Thanks for the suggestion. Makes a ton of sense.
Thank you for your complete video on the importance of number one... ME. I am happy to see that you have your priorities straight.
Thank you!
A quick fix for the compression connection where the front fender and light are concerned is to make a Velcro sandwich up there. Put Velcro patch on the front of the fork bridge, with the matching piece on the hardware that attaches the light. The bolt that holds everything together is long enough to accommodate the extra thickness. I think that would prevent the light and fender from rotating. Maybe put the same Velcro patch on the back side of the fork bridge for double protection. You could make the patch small enough so that they would not show at first glance. Just a thought (maybe not a good one).
That's an excellent idea!
Also, it looks like you need to add air to your shock absorber. That blue band should not be that low on the shaft. For me, the rear rack and the fenders are a large part of the reason why I am buying this bike. It’s something to be a commuter when I am in my camper van and it allows me to hang paneer on the back and go to the grocery store.
I agree, it is still a bit low. I need to add a little more air, thanks for the observation, I appreciate it!
That rear rack is a selling point for me as well.
@@stxrobstar thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!!
I don't use my ebikes to run errands.. no racks, fenders or locks on either of them. Also don't like the look. Especially if you're mostly doing off road trail riding... More weight, more things to come loose and rattle around and if there's one thing I hate it's a noisy bike with things that rattles over every bump. I'd also get a chain tension pulley that keeps the chain taught which keeps it from smacking the chain stay making noise and somehow secure the folded kickstand in place so it's not flopping around also making noise. There's nothing like a very quiet bike when going over rougher terrain.
Any discount codes for it?
I totally agree with you about the rack. I think it would look a lot cleaner without it plus I've never used a rack in my life. Like you said, I'll use a backpack if I need to. I've also had tons of mountain bikes and never thought I needed a fender. I know people ride these to work and want to stay clean but that's not me. I've also seen videos where people thought the rattling was the kickstand. Maybe something to look at
Great minds think alike! Yeah, the kickstand does make a thinking type noise when going over big bumps, but the vibration/rattling from the fenders happens even on flat roads, mostly due to the vibration of the motor traveling up the rack to the fenders. I'm keeping the rack for now, mostly because the light is mounted to it, but it may be coming off soon!
I'm about to buy one... I'll be defiantly removing the fenders after watching your video!!!! Thank you! Awesome video!!! Might remove the rack too!!!
Good call! I still have the rack on...but I'm torn on taking it off due to having to re-route the light over the rear suspension....and it doesn't make any noise...but if it does start to, I'm taking it off....because I know it will look even better without it!
🙂I feel you Solar. Yep, I've been riding bikes for years and I've always removed the fenders due to some type of noise. I'm liking the video. ☮
Right on! Cheers 🍻
I'm with you on the fenders and light, design improvement need to be made. The rack, however, not so much.
As far as the rack goes, I'll bet if a survey, over 2/3 of E-bikers have a desire for a rear rack and DON'T want to have a backpack.
It may be the older one gets, the more they like having a rear rack.
I had the same issue with the light, where it dropped forward and started banging against the fender.
I personally want fenders, but these fenders don't do a whole lot when it comes to the main reason I want fenders. That is, to keep the water, debris from flying up from the front tire and soaking/striking the rider. They also shorten the front section of the rear rack, so more stuff can strike the controller box, again not a fan.
I want fender, just not this poor attempt we have.
I think the reason for not having an inside chain guard on the chain ring is clearance to the frame. Remember, they increase the size of the chain ring. I'm wonder if there is a way to maybe put a spacer to have the chain ring out a bit more so it could support an inside guard? Maybe it might be the angle to the big sprocket in the rear would be too much for the force applied during steeper hill climbing?
Anyway, good points and video. Thanks
Excellent points! I just do a lot of offroading and don't bring much with me when riding, so I wouldn't secure much to the rack, as it would be all over the place and coming lose all the time. For road riding, the rack is great, and the build quality of the rack is excellent. Thank you for the feedback. It is much appreciated!!
I don’t think I understand why you would prefer a backpack over a rack unless it was for short commuter type rides. Extra weight on your body and a sweaty backpack for long rides in hot weather would really suck.
@@timkarcher6724 mostly due to less risk of it falling off as I do a lot of trail riding and better weight balance on the bike, no need for securing straps, etc.
Two of the problems that you called out can be traced directly to them changing to the metal fenders or by how they are mounted.
I have the Aug '23 model with the plastic fenders and on the front, the light is attatched differently than the '24 model.
It took an extra try to tighten the light, but I never had the light continue to drop down.
The mounting for the fender is different because they went to a shorter metal fender and took away the braces helping to hold the fender in place.
The metal rear fender is mounted differently too.
Mine has a brace attatched to the rear of that fender and those in front attatch to a short crossbar that is connected between the front of the upper trailing arms and not as one unit with the rack.
The rack on the '24 model connects at the middle at only one point on each side and with two thinner guiding rails coming to the front connecting bar back below the seat.
This is much like the earlier '23 models, but with a larger rack.
This, I suppose was necessary because of the movement of the top trailing arm with the change in the rear suspension.
My rack in comparison is mounted by four mounting points attatched diectly to the top trailing arm and my rack is just as large and long as the '24 model rack, not short like they were on earlier '23 models.
I prefer the plastic fenders on mine compared to the noisy one on the '24 model.
I intend to keep my rack and fenders on my bike for unexpected mud or water puddles.
Interesting! Thank you for sharing all those details and nuances between the different production versions. I agree that plastic full-length fenders with supports would be a better option, and if I had those, I probably would have left them on the bike.
I think that you can add rubber grommets at every bolt that connects the rear fender and rack to the frame, and it should eliminate most of the vibration. Also, if you decide to keep the front fender, an inverted triangle bracket where it connects the fender to the front shock could help. The triangle should keep the fender from moving side to side when you adjust the light because it keeps it from moving side to side. You can solder it to the fender and paint it the same color as the fender. Good luck.
Thanks for the ideas!
Lock washers and loctite will fix the issues you have. Something sounds loose on the rear rack? The front and rear sprockets on any bike are never in perfect alignment in that scenario. There is always that chance but guards can be noisy too and just add a little more weight. Good advice for getting the chain back on quickly! I enjoy the video rides!
I agree 💯! I think the rear fender might just be a little bit loose. In my next video, I will take the rear wheel off and tighten the fender bolts to see if that fixes the issue.
Thank you for your video! I currently have a Wired Freedom on order and after reviewing the features of the bike across multiple CZcams videos , it seems to meet all the checkboxes that I have for a bike. However, I do agree with you that I’m not a fan of the fenders and bike rack. There’s a good chance that I will take those off of mine as well. I just hope relocating the front and rear lights won’t be an issue.
Awesome! I don't think it will be an issue. I will make a video when I remove everything and remount the lights....stay tuned!
@@leetjohnson It will look alot better ! See my AR Kepler !
@@goose2die4 Wow, that Kepler looks great!
Use rubber washers between fenders and mounting point, isolate noise from fenders. Use rubber washers at light and fender for non slip, plus enough for adjustment. Not a bike mechanic, but I'm sure there is a solution for chain . Good luck!
For sure!!
Yeah, a double-sided chain guide on the front crank is a must. Wonder if there are 3rd-party offerings? I think the fenders on the cruiser model would work better on this bike. They are longer, thus would provide better protection of splashing water.
I agree 100%!
I’m definitely taking off the front fender and replacing with a better front light.
Right on!
All nuts and bolts are always tightened at the nut end. This will reduce/eliminate the twisting of the fixture/fender. You can add serrated or rubber washers to the bolts and/or to the inside of the bracket against the cross bar.
Yeah, this light fixture I'm particular has a countersink in between metal ridges (of the light fixtures attachment) on both sides, making that difficult to do. I did use a serrated nut on the backside once I removed the front fender and that eliminated any movement of the light.
a simple solution for the screws on the light are star washers..
See my newest video, that's exactly what I used!
Great observations. I'm waiting om my Freedom to arrive (End of this month). I'll keep all that in mind when I assemble it. BTW, rubber or fiber gaskets (washers) inserted in all the places you have mentioned, including the rack, will resolve all the problems you encountered by providing friction and buffering and reducing vibrations.
I agree! I'm probably just going to remove them as I don't really need them though.
I ordered my Freedom yesterday. How long ago did you place your order?
@ibnewton8951 I ordered mine back in August and it arrived around November/December.
I’ve been waiting for mine for over a month. I been riding my Ride1up however I had Covid or the flu for a week haven’t gotten to ride 😞 what color did u guys get
@@user-oy9zy4ds9m
I ordered blue.
Edit: I checked status today and apparently delivery is supposed to be by end of January. Hopefully 2024. 😀
You could use some rubber washers as well
100%!!
I have the ride1up 700 series the chain constantly popped off everytime if I went over large bump while standing slightly on the pedals so that my butt wouldn’t take the impact since it has no rear suspension. I started carrying gloves on me in case I had to fix the chain it happened so often. I think this is problem with many e-bikes if not regular bikes too
It is definitely common. You can add a double chain guard on the front chainring if it is a constant issue and that should help.
Use a lock nut or a locking o ring on those. I think a locking wing nut even work.
Take out that whole center piece of the light rail . The parallel looking one.
I used a lock nut and removed the fenders....no more problems!
Put lil pieces of foam or rubber around the metal thats tapping if u cant tighten with The fore mentioned lock nuts
Good call.
I don't know much but I can usually Jerry rig things to function a lil gooder as long as it not something that's a major deal in functionality. Hope u got er up to par .looks like a great bike. Mine got stolen while bringing a friend some medicine for the flu. Had a rough last yr so I can't even replace it for a while. Supper bummed like a piece of my life was snatched away. Not trying to sound dramatic but I rode it to work , to one of several island to surf , to one of the skate parks scattered around town, fishing, salt and fresh water, the store, to eat or get a drink, just for fun around the city trails on and off road , on the beaches and just to friends so it was kinda a big part of my days. I have a vehicle id almost sell to have some savings and a new bike but in SE NC we get rain so it wouldn't be to bright . However with traffic and gas ECT the fun of taking in my surroundings and joy I got from the bike or lack there of stress maybe and the enjoyable times it provided on otherwise lackluster commutes really has me in moments of contemplation on those sleepless nights questioning what is bright? Hell they make pretty rad rain suits now days. All I'd need is a side car in the rare case of a date. LoL
Use lock washers on light assembly
I agree, I will add them when I remove the front fender.
I agree about the front fender and light, but it was an easy fix for me. I just used some different washers I had and Loctite and its perfect now. My rack and fender do not rattle either. The bike is solid and very quiet, did you check your bolts and use Loctite?
I did check the bolts, but wasn't interested in keeping the fenders on the bike. The new nut is holding the light just perfect.
Good review. I’ve noticed that all the bikes lights are done as afterthought. That should be most important for safety or of they care. I do want racks and do want for my pups to ride. It seems that these builders should take in consideration of the buyers complaints and “Someone” build to specs. I like to ride on the beach and going to get sand, etc. and apply something waterproof for those of us that do go through mountains streams, etc. Thanks for the review.💫💥🚴♂️😎
I agree! Although, I imagine the main concern for these bike companies is trying to keep price down. It's a tough balance.
1. Mounting point for the headlight.
2. When in the lowest gear the chain can fall off the chainring when spinning backwards.
3. The rack and fenders are noisy and don't look good.
💯 🙏
You are correct about the mounting issues of the front light and fender. It’s kind of a goofy looking Light the way it mounts. I took my light off and invested in a bar light that mounts to the handlebars and basically tripled the lumens on the road in front of you.
Since I don’t pedal my freedom backwards in the last 200 miles, my chain has never come off.
Also, my bike does not have that serious loose, rattling noise like yours.
I would have to guess maybe the bolts connecting the fender to the rack might be loose?
One thing you forgot to mention, is the handlebars are too short. There’s not enough room for everything before it starts curving down.
It would be nice if they were at least an inch longer on each side, so not only the handle grips clamp properly, but it would give you more room for everything including the possibility of mounting some decent rearview mirrors, which are a must if you do any street riding.
The 2024 Wired Freedom is a bad ass big boy bike , I have zero regrets on this purchase!
I’ve got the blue Freedom and I get compliments on it
EVERY WHERE I GO!
I agree 👍 . I would also like bigger handlebars and a top mounted light with more lumens would be ideal! I don't usually pedal backwards either, lol, but sometimes I reset the pedals at a light to be at a high point to get the cadence sensor to kick in with a big downward push. Only happened when I was in the climbing gear, near hills. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
@@leetjohnson oh, OK I see what you’re talking about, I do the same thing to get ready for the light change. If you want to preserve the battery, it’s best to start off in first gear peddling .
After watching the video, I just now tried peddling the bike backwards in first gear on the kickstand, and I cannot get the chain to come off ?
Not sure what is different between your bike and mine?
I got that light bar on Amazon for a very reasonable price.
This bar light has three different settings, and is very bright on the lowest setting.
It comes with a chargeable battery, using a USB cord, which conveniently can be plugged into either the battery or display while you are riding.
I think it looks way cooler as well !
I do have bar end mirrors, which work excellent to see what’s behind you. However, they get bumped and misaligned ALL THE TIME!
I can’t find a proper review mirror long enough to mount on the center handlebar and still be able to see around me.
As there is no room at the top of the handlebars to mount a mirror , or mirrors.. Like a motorcycle.
I’m still searching .
@robertstewart3086 yeah, I think it's just a random occurrence with the chain thing...it's only happened twice with me...maybe I had the bike at a weird angle or something. Or possibly hit the chain with my shoe and not noticed it. Those longer mirrors are very hard to find. Thanks for all the excellent feedback!
I agree, I know it ain't a motorcycle, but the lights on all e bikes should all be higher like a motorcycle.
💯
With the light, I would imagine if there was a way to not have that 2 inch extension, that might clear up some issues.. Have you tried using the extension upright rather than out? That might help..
I thought it was you that was also saying how the chain ring was too big and might bottom out on a log or rock...
To me it is more about the frequency of the rattle that is annoying.. It is nice that they have metal fenders..
That's not a bad idea. Since I removed the front fender and put a star locking nut on it, it tightens down great and doesn't move anymore!
@@leetjohnson Sometimes plastic washers and even plastic locking nuts or maybe even rubber washers and locking nuts.. You have options..
You need a 3D printer.. most of the mods you want could be designed printed and attached on existing bolt/screw points.. for example you could print a chain guide that can screw into the same bracket that holds on the Controller.
True! How much does a 3D printer usually cost?
@@leetjohnson, For budget I recommend the Bambu Labs A1 or A1 mini, depending on max size of items you want to print. Both are great starter printers. Looking at $399 and $299 respectively. Lots of free cad software you could use to design parts.
@@GameMaker04 Awesome!!
Mine don’t make that noise so it has to be the fenders. I too am going to keep the rack but remove the fenders
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
Have you ever had the pedals hit the pavement while you are in a turn?
A few times!!
I’ve order mine and haven’t seen any comments of this front headlamp. I do a lot of nighttime riding and curious how bright it is?
It's not bad, but not the very best. I have a video coming out not this Saturday, but the following Saturday that shows how bright it is at night on a trail. Stay tuned!
Fantastic! I do have a NightRider 1800watts light that I’ll find a spot for it to compensate. It’s battery powered and is crazy bright!
@@DeepSouthMS3 Awesome!!
Wish I had seen this video before yesterday. I went to Wired(I live an hour away) to test drive the freedom. They are aware of some noise from the fenders. The one I rode did not have the final front light.
Even though I’ve watch a bunch of videos I didn’t realize how big and beefy this bike really is.
Did you end up buying it there?
I didn’t. I always have to think about the big expenses. I ride almost predominantly in the city on paths, so I don’t know if this style of bike is the best. I’m also looking at a trek verve+2 ebike, which is probably better for the style of riding I will do. I almost never go over 25 miles.
@@darrylswanson1199 right on! I'd say the biggest thing for this bike is the 40mph top speed.
It would be cool but since I’m 68 and out of riding bike shape, my goal is to use the legs as much as possible, but use assistance when needed. I also live in the Midwest where humidity is an issue. It really wipes me out(more than the normal person), so the assistance will help during those times so maybe I won’t get wiped out.
@darrylswanson1199 I see! Let me know what you end up getting, when you do!
Have you solved your front fender issues? Do you install the fender before or after installing the front tire?
I ended up removing both the front and rear fenders. You can install the front fender before or after the front wheel, but it's easier to do it before installing the front wheel.
@@leetjohnson thanks!
@@leetjohnson just unboxed and mounted my new Freedom, in Hunter green. I gotta say, wow, what a beauty! 😍 I really liked it on picture, but it looks even better in front of me. I see what you mean about the front light and fender. It really needs to be screwed on tight! But other than that, the bike looks and feels very sturdy! Heavy like a tank! I might peel off the ugly stickers from the battery though.
@@leetjohnsonnow, I gotta wait for spring to take it out on a ride.
@@leetjohnson would love to see a pic with fenders and removed!
I do all my shopping on my ebikes, with a rack and saddlebags. I'm a senior citizen daily rider.
Awesome!!!
@leetjohnson Now I have 2 ebikes. I pedal a lot, almost daily. I'm saving for an electric dirt bike right now. I have a fat tire folder, and a moped style 48v 15.7 AH 750 brushless geared hub motor. Maybe during the holidays I can find a bargain. If not, I need to save $4000. I plan on riding into my eighties, 14 more years. Ride safe.
Thanks for pointing these issues out so I’ll be able to deal with them when the bike shows up.
Do you know if insurance companies cover e-bikes? Theft, collision etc.
Edit: did you need blue lo time to assemble the bike?
I'm not sure if there are any companies that would insure the bike. As far as assembly, I think you are asking how long it took? It took me less than an hour to set it up, it came almost fully assembled!
@@leetjohnson
Sorry. I got screwed by the predictive speller. I meant to ask if you used blue Loctite on the assembly or if it’s not necessary?
@ibnewton8951 Oh, gotcha. I didn't, but it isn't a bad idea at all to use some locktite. The front wheel is assembled with a quick release, so not needed there...the only other thing you assemble is the handlebars, so I wouldn't say it's vital, but definitely worth it if you have some laying around. Just make sure you torque all the bolts down (check the whole bike over), and every few rides, check the main bolts for the frame and suspension, and you should be fine.
Valid rant. But all these issues can be easily remedied. For the fenders, use a thin rubber/urethane washer. That’ll help dampen any vibration noises. Use a star washer for the headlight wear it mounts to the fork brace. It would be easy to fabricate a T shape, mounting solution for the fender and light assembly. That will keep it from twisting.
100%!! I plan to remedy all of these issues in the next video. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
I have to have a rear rack…….always carry a trunk bag.
Good thing is, it doesn't make any noise, it was only my fenders rattling! I kept the rack too.
Is there a good map for the trails to ride. I live south valley and would love to come up there to ride. Any groups that ride together and cover some of the trails. Thank you. My stepdaughter lives and Cameron Park so I could bring my bike there and spend a few nights or a motel close by so I could enjoy the rides.
Yes, just Google the Johnny Cash trail or American River trail, and there are a bunch of maps that you can screenshot with your phone or print out. Same for Folsom Lake. The trails are very well maintained with lots of signage that makes it easy to stay on track. There are a ton of various riders of all abilities on the trails as well as groups, unfortunately I am not a member of any of them.
Dude … a leaf for the chain repair … 2 rubber washers for the light and the rack … lol thanks for the info
The leaf is a GREAT idea!! Thank you!
@@leetjohnsonwhat’s a leaf ?
@@justinwhite2951 a leaf from a tree, instead of using a paper towel to avoid getting your fingers greasy from the chain falling off and putting it back on.
I got me the cheapest Ebike from colorway and its.pretty decent..light .not too noisey..turn throttle which i love..the only thing is 16" wheels . Id do 20" next time..but decent little bike but probably more for urban commuting
That's awesome!
Are the fenders steel or aluminum? Thanx, good video!
I believe they are steel.
4.5.24 .were you buyed let me know

Ur front sproket looks bent. Also tighten ur chain and in wont come off. Lower ur derailer guide and u can put it right over the front sprocket
The front sprocket may be a little bent. I'll check it out.
If it's as good as the billy goat V2 then I'm all in...
I think they are very comparable.
The problem with the light and front fender can be solved by using star or external tooth lock washers.
That would definitely help!
@@leetjohnsonif you or Solar fix this issue can you do a video or a picture? Would love to get the right washer/bolt set up. Thanks
@justinwhite2951 my plan is to probably remove the front fender, but still probably add a lock washer to the light setup. I will make a video of this!!
Any discount codes one it ?
Not yet, but I do I have a link if you'd like to support this channel!
I’m not a fan of “shorty fenders”, give me full fenders or no fenders. But I need fenders. Metal fenders will drive one crazy with the sounds they can emit. I like bare bones look of an e-bike unfortunately it’s not practical for me.
I agree with everything you just said!
Hard rubber washers would solve most of your problems
I agree!
Double sided sprocket ⚙️ Gard will fix problem 2
100%! I may invest in one if it happens much more, although it hasn't been too big of an issue...yet.
Lock Washers??
Yep, I will be installing those when I remove the front fender!
$1999 bike and the light and fender is your big complaint is?
Definitely not a big complaint, more like feedback. Overall the bike is excellent!!
What's wrong with epoxy/ hot melt glue?
Nothing, although I'm not sure hot glue would be durable on painted metal surfaces.
How does the bike compare to a suron? I here people saying it but why??
I'd say it's very different. It does go 40mph and the surron goes 45mph, but there is a lot more suspension on the surron. They are both 60v battery systems, but the Freedom is only about 2k watts and the Surron Light Bee is 6k watts. The Surron also costs more than twice as much and doesn't have pedals. I like the Wired Freedom because it looks like an ebike wheras the Surron looks like an electric dirtbike. Just depends how and where you plan to ride most.
@@leetjohnson thanks for the response I want the bike cuz stealth and less chance of tickets
@@Rue2love that's why I bought it!
I would remove that front fender immediately because it’s deadly how it’s mounted like that with one flimsy screw. It can easily fall on the wheel and send you flying off the bike at high speed
I agree 💯. I will definitely be removing the fenders.
Wired should had installed a key fob for starting and turning off the bike. I live in the city, a rough city and that would had been a game changer.
It does have a password lockout...
Haha, no a keyed lockout isn’t going to make a bit of difference in the roughest part of cities. I wouldn’t be riding any $2000 bike in the ghetto without packing an uzi.
There is a keyed battery, that would help, at least visually.
@leetjohnson Hey Buddy, I live in Newark N.J., that wouldn't be a deterrent. Thank's for the tip
@@jamesramsey7767 Sorry, bummer that it's so bad there.
You tighten the nut not the bolt
Good call.
I am thinking about buying this bike and am disappointed. to see these minor but valid Issues with the bike. I would like to see if the front fender light issue could be fixed with lock washers.?
The chain issue could be fixed with a double rim guard on both sides of the chain on the front sprocket
I like the back Rack. does it make noise when you're on a smooth trail?
I agree with all those points! Don't be discouraged to not.buy the bike, it is still an amazing bike for the price. It doesn't make any noise on smooth surfaces other than a little vibrational rattle from the motor up to the fender. I might be able to tighten the fender down to eliminate this, but I will probably just remove them..
@@leetjohnson I am fairly sure that wired freedom will read these comments And I am glad you made this video to let them know of the issues with your bike and make easy changes to prevent these problems.
@@shagbark54 🙏
Definitely don’t let this video weigh your decision whether or not to buy the bike. It’s an Awesome bike and well worth the money. Mine doesn’t make any noise, so I’m guessing there’s just something simple like tightening the fender bolts to fix this. I do agree about the light mount. It sucks. But it’s not a deal breaker by any means. Also I have not had the issue of the chain coming off. I own a 2024 Cruiser and I’m about to plunk down some more $$$ on a new Freedom to make an off-road bike (yanking off the fenders and rack and adjusting the settings to get immediate full power.
@groovr22 I couldn't agree more, it's an amazing bike, especially for the price!! I will try to tighten the fender bolts to see if that fixes it before I remove them....I'll get it all on video too.
Thanks for the great video and those were very constructive observations. I also asked them if they would be willing to prototype and charge me for an experimental carbon fiber version. Can you imagine how amazing this bike would be if it was carbon fiber?! It would drop so much weight as well. I would be willing to pay for it, but they said “that’s not going to happen“. I told them if they change their mind, I will buy the prototype.😊
Carbon fiber would be amazing, however if it isn't high quality, I'd be afraid of it eventually fatiguing and failing. But for weight purposes, it would be epic! Probably would raise the price substantially, though, too.
You need grooved washers. Then then 'tightening the shit out of it" will work.
💯 That's the plan!
Does the sit go any higher.....? Your riding position does not look right.
Yes, it can go much higher. I like a low seat to keep my center of gravity low.
That chain thing goes for regular bikes... 🤦🏽♂️
True, but a guard on the inside could prevent this. Some bikes have it happen a lot, others I've never had the issue.
Lock washers and Lock tight are your friend...fenders and luggage rack dont go on a bmx/mtb bike or ebike thats 4 OLD PEOPLE 9f course thry come off :)
I agree 1000%!!
All you can fix yourself...
Of course, and I will. Just shouldn't have to.
I think the bike is overpriced.... They need to get rid of the cheesy rear suspension.. a hardtail would it be a lot better.. if they take $300 off the price and free shipping I'd go for it maybe
It would be nice to have the option.
If you have never had a "chain tattoo", you're not a real cyclist. Just kidding, but I've seen some cyclists with actual bike chain tattoos.

I thought you were making suggestions to the company. It's your problem if you don't want fenders and a rack I'm sure most everybody else does don't you think.
Yeah, I agree that many do want the fenders. My suggestions were to fix the fender rattling and movement by adding lock washers and a bracket to the front fender attachment and rubber grommets for the rear fender to reduce motor vibration to the rear fender. And finally, a front chain ring guard....all costing maybe 5 to 10 dollars for the company.
My solution/personal choice is to remove the fenders and rack as I don't need them. Sorry if this wasn't clear in the video.
Thanks for watching and the feedback, I appreciate it!
