Why on earth would you guys make the FDE version only available in 6moa?
I would love to put a Romeo 1 Pro on my P320 X-Five Legion. Currently, I only have a Romeo 1 Pro on my P320 RXP Compact.
A shot thru the reddot would of been nice. U know, like, showing the product working.
Question
Is this compatible with the P320 X Carry Pro & available in FDE @ MOA 3?
So cool.
Question
Is this compatible with the P320 X Carry Pro & available in FDE?
Will this fit the Sig P320 X Carry model?
Will this fit my Xcarry?
Once it’s arrives, putting it on my X-Vtac
No info on the actual optic tho
Is this a repost?
can you completely turn off the sight? i know they come with the ability to turn off when no motion is detected.. but if I want to practice with my irons can I turn it off without it turning back on?
Yep. Hold either button for two seconds, and it powers down
Does anyone know what make and model of wrist watch he’s wearing?
I've thinking about upgrading the slide on my P226 to the Pro-Cut. However... I think that slide only takes the Romeo01 Pro. If I want the Romeo Pro optics... do I need to purchase both the slide and optic at the same time, or can I put a Romeo1 (non Pro) on my current 2010 226, and then transfer that to the new slide when I get it? Just trying to understand my order of purchasing operations. Thanks!
Send Sig an email via their website. They will reach out and call you! That’s what they did for me. Excellent service.
@@coreybenson3122 ... I actually purchased a Holosun with RMR mounting provisions for my 226. Sig said that the slide is cut to accept this optic. Well... it technically is, but what they don't tell you, is that you need to buy a $70 mounting plate for RMR mounting on all Sig Sauers. Two separate customer service agents at Sig had no clue what I meant by this. The 2 screws that hold the RMR onto the slide are 6-40 thread pitch, which is a non-standard thread. All optics come with 6-32 screws. Sig engineering did this, because they couldn't provide customers with the two forward, interlocking cylinders at the front of the slide cut, and they didn't want people knocking their teeth out with an optic. If you try to use the screws that come with your RMR to mount to the slide, you run a risk of cross threading your $450 slide. Nowhere do they tell you this in the slide documentation either. You need to find out the hard way. It's not cool at all, and Sig needs to start including this verbiage in their pamphlet within the newly purchased slides. So to counter you "they have great customer service" I say "they need to work harder". Especially at Sig prices.
@@footnotedrummer I agree. I recently just installed my Sig optic on my M17. The book said: remove screws. No mention of the various components that need to be removed to gain access to said screws.
How do you know if your gun is older and has the older slide cut. I have the P320 XFive Legion? I guess you would see a gap???
Look on the page for your model on sigs website. With all the stats like weight, length caliber etc it will say the optic cut type. Or call them. Their awesome to talk to
So if you install the optic you will lose your iron sights option? If so is there a kit to get both red dot and iron sights to cowitness?
i think it depends on the gun. the p365 that comes with the romeo0 doesn't have ironsights.. but the sig p226 legion rxp that comes with the romeo1pro does have iron sights and they look like they're suppressor height
Suppressor height sights.
It's cool but its almost as expensive as the stock gun grom the shop. I still want it tho...needs to come with the shroud in the same box. My romeo0 is awesome
How can we tell whether our Romeo 1 Pro is a 3MOA or 6MOA? I just purchased the P320 RXP X-Full (9mm) which came with the Romeo 1 Pro installed, but I can't find any documentation or references anywhere that indicate whether it's a 3 or 6 MOA red dot. (Why does this have to be so difficult to find? And why are there so many variants on the naming for all these pistols: it makes it difficult to understand differences and what exactly i have...which makes it difficult to find the correct holster, compatible grip modules, etc.)
The gun seams pretty great overall, but I probably won't go with Sig for my next one or two, mainly because this is all just very confusing, and I can't find any good explanations for it all.) *sigh*
James I couldn't agree more, the reason I'm even here watching this CZcams video is because I'm trying to figure out what the heck I have right in here in front of me! May sound a little familiar my man! I just received a Sig P320 from a buddy who operates a sizeable gun business, all he told me was he was sending a Sig P320, from the pictures I deduced that it was a full size P320 and by the looks of the optic that was already installed I guessed that it was an RX model. I picked it up today after FFL transfer and tbh I'm no closer to pin-pointing the exact model of this pistol than I was before I had the damn thing. Like you said there are so many different variations and sub-models and different sizes and alas different optics within the same exact model of optics! I can't figure out if this Romeo1Pro has the 3 or 6 moa either. The model # of this gun is 20 digits long! It's like trying to decipher hieroglyphs... I'm gonna go ahead and type it out in hopes that maybe someone at Sig or someone that knows more than me (which isn't saying much) will someday stumble upon this comment thread and give me a definitive answer to what exact model P320 this is

Dear person from the future, Thank you in advance for educating my dumbass 😘
@@MrStickyDigits , I wrote an email to Sig asking, and they responded a week or so later. I have the P320 RXP X‐Full, which it sounds like you have a well, based on what you described here.
The RXP i think means it comes with the Romeo 1 Pro. It may be the "X" is that it's the X-Full.
Sig told me my red dot sight is a 6 MOA, so my guess is yours is as well. But if you email them with your serial number on the fire control unit, they could be able to verify it for you.
@@TheRealJP777 Thank you for the quick response, I wish it wasn't so confusing, hell maybe it's just me that's confused, it's my first red-dot optic, although I have a dozen handguns I've always avoided mounted optics because they seem so bulky and obtrusive, hopefully after some time at the range I'll grow more comfortable with it. How is your experience with the P320 in the last 3 months? The only other Sig I have is the P365XL and I really like it but it took a little practice to learn how to shoot such a small pistol.
@@MrStickyDigits, the P320 was also the first pistol I got with a red dot sight. I have other pistols, and used a Beretta 9mm in the Marine Corps -- also iron sights. After the P320, I also picked up an HK VP9-B and put a Trijicon RMR2 on it, and a Sig P365XL and have the Romeo Zero on it, and also have a Sig P365 (non-XL), and am currently having the sight milled for a Holosun 507k red dot: should get that one back from Jagerwerks within the next few weeks.
So far my favorite is the VP9-B, by far. The customized grip and the stock trigger are both amazing. And it's slightly more able to be concealed than the P320 for my carry permit. Accuracy between the P320 and VP9-B are comparable, in my experience with them.
But, for the red dots: I think I like the Romeo 1 Pro slightly better than the Trijicon RMR2. The R1P can adjust the brightness to whatever brightness you want, whereas the RMR2 auto-adjusts the brightness, and I wish it were a little brighter at times. The R1P also has a little larger viewing window, which makes it easier to find both the red dot and the target, IMHO. But, the RMR2 has a 3.25MOA dot, which I like better than the 6MOA, because the latter covers up too much of the target, IMO. And the RMR2 feels a bit more solid too. So they're both very decent and fairly comparable, I think.
I like the P365XL a lot: much easier to conceal in summer clothes, and I imagine the P365 will be even easier. I haven't found the red dots to be particularly bulky, for me at least. My P365XL has the Romeo Zero. I'd say the R0 is decent, but not as good as the R1P or RMR2. It's slightly smaller, but the real issue is that there are some double reflections where the actual red dot can be off the window, but a ghost image of the red dot is present, so that you think you're on target, when in fact you're way off. So that one is taking a lot more dry fire practice to get used to the draw and sighting-in to make sure I get it right every time. But it is still good enough that I use it all the time.
Hopefully the P365 and Holosun 507k prove to be better than the R0.
Obvious the P365/XL options aren't as accurate over distance as the larger pistols (VP9-B and P320).
Oh, one other thing I noticed is that when I mount my Surefire X300U-A 1000 lumen lights to the picatiny rails, it fits extremely snug on the VP9-B (perfectly), but loose / rattling on the P320, so that rail doesn't have a tight of specs. I had to swap out the clip on attachment to the screw-on attachment, which means I need a tiny allen wrench every time I want to swap out the batteries, which sucks if you're in the field, and is something easily lost; whereas I don't have to worry about that with the VP9-B.
Sig is a great company, for American products 10000000% go with Sig, only other manufacturers I recommend are CZ and HK and Beretta
Sig, I have a p-320 x-carry. Can you at least make an adapter plate?
Worth buying the x carry???
@@juggalo2crazie6 I love mine, but if I want to run any optic other than the Romeo1, I'll have to either get a new slide, or have it milled. Have yet to find an adapter plate for it. Additionally, Sig seems to have left them behind as you cant even find the x-carry on their site any more. I'd say look at some of their newer options.
Why would you guys not make a 3 MOA version in FDE? Makes absolutely no sense...
So I have a original 5x will the new pro fit
@stew88hi I don't think so. Your cut is to small.
Will the pro fit in the original Romeo 1 footprint??
No
Why doesn't sig make shot guns?
Technically... they do. It's called the SL5. It's made by the Sauer division, and only bares the name Sauer. Sauer and Sig Sauer are owned by the same conglomerate company.
Would this work on a p320 x carry?
Yes
Wow. I learned exactly nothing about this optic from this video. I guess I'll search somewhere else to see how it comes on/off etc. etc. etc..
Some people are dumb….
can change red dot for Green dot?
No.
oh
Shake awake?
Yes
I love losing my rear sight. Thank you SIG. Sarcasm**
You do realize a ton of sights come with a small rear sight window in case you want to drop your rear ironsights. Get good
There’s been exstensive testing done on people shooting with the rear red dot dead and no rear iron sight and everyone shoots completely fine
Only certain slides do. My vtac keeps the rear sights
All other commenters yeah whatever . OP Yeah I hear ya Same with Walthers Tac PPQ , New PDP isnt that way but not the same comfort.
Doesn't really matter actually isn't this just another one that you gotta manually click on instead of shake awake. That's WAY WAY too much fiddley fumbling around in an emergency !!!
Purchased one of these only to find out it will really only mount to sig handguns. Gun store i bought it from has a no refund policy. Now im stuck with this red dot its just sitting in my safe.😒
post to reddit... people buy up stuff on there all the time
There might be third party companies who make adapter plates. C&H precision maybe.
From all I can tell in everything I've read, even your brand new Romeo Zero Elite Red Dot is a poorly designed, poorly functioning piece of garbage. Apparently it's got one button that's hard to get to, requires you to fingerprint your lens (which requires you to clean it and therefore likely scratch it) You had the entire unit to work with why would you put the button there? And when you have adjustments for up and down you should have a button one for up one for down.) Your casing is so weak and poorly reinforced you've had to add an external steel protective cover? Your TAP feature doesn't apparently work for virtually anyone and your biggest screw up was that it eats batteries and the entire unit has to be removed from the gun to replace the batteries meaning every few weeks or however long they last you'll be removing the site replacing the battery and then won't be able to trust the Red Dot until you get back to the range and make sure it's zeroed. I can't comprehend how your product designers could decide to put a battery on the bottom of the unit requiring the entire unit be unmounted. It should have been just as easy to put the battery ON TOP and replaceable without having to unmount. You guys need to stick to building guns and leave micro red dots to the guys that have been building them for a while. It's pretty embarrassing when your product loses out to red dots originally manufactured for airsoft guns in every feature and catagory (Take a look at the Cyelee Calf. It is a better designed. Better working red dot than yours and costs $69! Proper buttons, materials and a battery compartment on the SIDE, not to mention dials that click, and automatic off and movement turns it back on. How many generations until you have that? Just shut down the entire Micro division you're never going to catch up you're never going to compete. Write it off. It's so bad people are going to stop buying Sig Sauer specifically because they don't want your mount or be stuck with you line of micro red dots. You supposedly have over 300 product design engineers, and that's the product you come up with? I'd say a few dozen people need fired. What an incredible failure on your part. From all I've read I wouldn't give you $50 for your micro Romeo Zero Elite, because I wouldn't want it on my gun. Period.
This is complete BS so I was foolish enough to buy a Romeo one and it turns out it doesn’t mount to anything except for what they call legacy guns meaning old ass crap so I guess I just bought a red dot that doesn’t mount anything. Maybe I’ll glue it to my broomstick.
It’s annoying that sig changes compatibility and discontinued/launches new stuff constantly. You might consider selling it on eBay or a g*n forum in your state. You could recoup enough money to pay for part of something else.
