  • A tasting of Yue Guang Bai, an exquisite white tea from Yunnan, the classic provenance of Pu'er and many black teas, but which has produced this white tea from the same large-leafed assamica variety for over 200 years. Balancing smooth white tea flavours with Yunnan 'wildness', Gabriele compares it with other, more well known white teas from Fuding, as well as examines the (multiple possible) origins of its name, which means 'moonlight white'.
