I just love watching you color Pencilstash. I like watching you figure out what you are going to do on your page. I like this book of Johanna's because there are lots of small pictures to color on the same page so you you can just color a small section at a time and not spend hours on two pages. I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for such a nice flip through of Johanna's book. I also enjoyed watching you color the page in the book. I am having a lot of med issues and am exhausted, so watching you color was very relaxing and restful. I always enjoy your conversational manner and that you explain why you do what you do on the pages that you color. I am also very happy for you that Johanna has chosen you to present two of her books to and that she included pencils and other gifts along with personal messages. Was the set of pencils she sent with her last book also Staedtler? I have seen several 24 sets on Amazon, but I couldn't remember if they were Staedtler or Castle Arts.
I love to see how you improvise along the way. You never seem to plan ahead. You're a great source of inspiration for me. Thank you for the videos!

I just got this book about 2 weeks ago. I have the arteza 48, pigma microns, and a few metallic pens and white sakura glaze white dots. I am sure your pencil stash is much bigger than mine!!! I love seeing ideas of what other people create. Love your splotch of color. I subscribed and hope to see more Johanna Basford color alongs. HUGS
Every time I see pastels I cringe _SO_ hard. Bad, baaaaad memories. I had to do a pastel project that needed to cover an entire poster board for an art class in grade 10 and it got EVERYWHERE!! I even remember having multiple damp wash cloths around to wipe my hands off on and spare pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper to put between my hand and the project, but it just smudged and got on EVERYTHING!!
I haven't used them since, but I like the effect you created with the cotton swabs...maybe I'll give them another try 🤔 It will likely be better on a smaller project, LOL 😅

I was gifted this book an totally love it. I like the paint splatter. I think I will go with a pale blue instead as that is my favorite color. Good job! 👍

I wonder when Jo Hanna looks are your interpretation of this picture, she doesn't say, "Why didn't I think of that?!" The 'splash' is the perfect finishing touch.

Made me feel guilty for not having sharp pencils and only 1 coloring book.
It would be nice if she sent some free copies to her fans who don't have CZcams channels but she never seems to. All she see is pound signs now and who's got the biggest audience to sell her half done book. I used to like Johanna but she's changed. She doesn't care about her ordinary fans or she would've sent out ten to CZcamsrs and ten to ordinary fans!!! It's not too much to ask surely!! Btw I got the super soft pencils in a scrawlbox (really pushing the boat out Johanna) and they are horrible to use if you like layer and blending cos these don't do either!!
