You really inspired me to try this so I bought some water brush markers and already started experimenting in my coloring pages. Thank you! 😊
Because you are working on colouring paper not water colour paper which has sizing the waterbrush will not move the colour.

Watercolour brush pens usually only work properly on heavily sized paper. For normal paper scribble on a palette, laminated surface or plastic bag, etc., and pick up colour with your brush. Alternatively you could prepare your page with some kind of matt medium (not textured)

I find the water color markers work way better on watercolor paper. I print my image on it then color it!

Rachel, thanks for sharing your foray into watercolor brush pens. I am getting brave enough now to experiment with mine on an actual coloring page and have taken notes on others' comments...I am curious as to how much bleed through there was on the back of the page?

Where are you?
Have you try printing a page on cardstock paper it thicker than most and ment for going to a printer however I do not know if it would work with watercolors I know it works great with Markers

She does video tutorials for a coloring book company. I get emails trying to sell me a new bunch every few months at over $90USD. I too hate it when people abruptly quit with no explanation. How long could it take - 1 minute?
