    I've been practicing yoga for a few years now. I can assure you that it will get easier with time once we welcome changes in our lives. My friends and acquaintances often ask me why I wake up early even on my days off, or why I practice yoga every day... I do all of this, but I have never forced myself to do it, both physically and mentally. Every day, I take a moment to notice my moods and emotions and allow them to flow as they are. I still have a long way to go, but I'm already grateful for everything that comes my way. I'm just sharing, because this channel and this community are incredibly important in all of this. Thank you✨

      I agree. Sometimes I might have an early flight or something I have to wait to complete my yoga and it throws off my day. I don’t feel myself until I have done my yoga.

      I am doing this video today, and I conciously chose to take as much time between practices as feels right for me. In the beginning I was behind two days and knew I could catch up if I did two a day on the weekend, but then I asked myself: what for? So I can feel bad about it if I skip a day again? So I can rush through, not actually present with it and be done faster with this beautiful practice that helps me so much? If I don't catch up and accept being behind I get to enjoy this longer! I get to have a great experience that will motivate me to keep doing yoga! That's way more important than being "on track". I am so glad that I made that choice. ❤

    I started practicing yoga daily when I turned 60 years old. Today at 74, I’m still practicing and doing the 30 day challenge. Yoga is transformative.

    Dear Adrien, I am from Iran, I was a woman who did not know my body and for many years I was completely disconnected from my body, I was alienated from myself, your yoga made me love my body little by little and I fell in love with myself and got to know myself 🤍

    Wanted to comment that even for people practicing this series delayed from real time, you truly are never alone. With each intentional inhale you take, someone else, somewhere in the world is drawing a breath at the same time you are (Probably even another yogi! Maybe even another yoga with Adriene yogi!). I had a hard time getting to the mat today, but as usual, it was worth it.

    Anyone else proclaiming I am Strong on every single plank now? Learning to love them. This is the longest I’ve ever lasted in a 30 day series and it’s very meaningful in this season of my life. Many thanks!

    Day 14. My body is sore and weak today so I had to modify all of the plank transitions. But I showed up and that's what matters. I'm still struggling to calm my mind - but since I have another exam today, I am not surprised. The sun came out during the practice and it is time to tackle this day. So breathe in, breathe out, we can do it, folks!

    I've been lighting up a candle during every practice since a little while and shut it off at the end of it. Today it died at the very last second of the video !     I'm 3 days behind, I am determined to catch up. If there is anybody in the same boat just know you are not alone. We can do this together.

      I have always been behind previous years and then been a bit stressed about catching up, usually then thrown off by a cold or sth and then never finished . . . This year I decided to do yoga every day, but not stress if it is not FLOW but instead something short or a meditation even. It has really helped me to do this mindshift - now I do not feel "behind" it stressed and I know I will finish FLOW and continue a daily practise even beyond that!

      I am further behind than you but still trying. I keep telling myself that I'm doing more than I did in December and that's a good thing. Just do the best you can and you will get stronger. 😊

      I‘m also behind, did this video earlier today. But I’m proud of myself - my work schedule doesn’t always allow for daily practice and I’ve managed five times a week which still feels amazing and so much to me! For me, it works even a little better - upholding daily practice throughout the year seems unrealistic to me personally, but four of five times is absolutely doable!

      I’ve been behind before and often make myself catch up, but my intention I set for this practice was listening to my body so I can reconnect with it in a new way. Turns out I sprained my ankle on day 12 (unrelated to yoga) and when normally I would force myself to go to work and do the yoga to grind it out, I called out from work (I never do and have such a hard time doing so) and let my ankle rest, took care of it, and although it is still healing, just a few days of rest helped it heal so much. But even aside from my ankle, there was a day or two where I was just so tired after my obligations that my body was screaming for sleep and so I went to bed and skipped that night. Sometimes I will do one in the morning and one in the evening to catch up but also one thing I have learned is there is no one right way to do these. If you want to catch up that is completely fine! But there is also nothing wrong with being gentle with yourself and not forcing yourself to do something because you’re “supposed to”. everything has ebbs and flows ❤

    I lost my left breast to cancer last March. This 30 day program is the first step in my journey back to health. My body is traumatized and asymmetrical, but Adriene always offers such gentle openness to modifications. This is a great community and I am honored and grateful to be here with you all.

      I'm inspired be your words. I too am a breast cancer survivor. 5 years!! I practiced daily before, and now I've had many starts and restarts. With Adrian, I feel connected again 🙏. All the best to you. It's a journey for all of us. Namaste🤟

    Good morning! Just wanted to note that @18:47, she says to lift the left leg, but lifts her right leg instead. So if you’re like me and did the Warrior 2 sequence twice on the same side, just make sure to do the other side too. Sending lots of love to you all! Grateful to be on this yoga journey together. ❤️

      I try to be understanding with this but I struggle with attention and when this happens it totally takes me out of my head space and I sometimes have to start the whole practice over. I know this is a “me” problem but I just thought I’d share in case anyone feels like this too.

      I noticed this too so i immediately switched to the right for the 2nd flow - this type of thing often happens in live practice (yoga instructors are human too) so it’s a good thing to pay attention and prepare to adapt

    Hello everyone! I loved this practice! Day 14 is always a special one for me, beacause it's my daughter's birthday - she already turns 8 this year. It was the year after her birth when I found yoga with Adriene. I've been doing yoga almost every day since Revolution 2017, and it feels so good!

    My mum died when I was 7 years old and today is the 24th anniversary of her death. The Guest House is a poem that has helped me with my grief in the past so it feels very serendipitous that this is today's practice. Thank you Adriene ❤

      Yes! I so needed to hear those words today! (Day 4 of arctic temps and winds here, and physically isolated in a rural place. It’s beautiful and cozy here by the fire, but sometimes feels lonesome.) Thank heavens for all of you, for this daily yoga practice, this body/spirit of mine, for growing strength & stability, and of course…for Adriene & Benji!!! 🥰

    Not me cringing at the thought of today’s video being a longer one while I have bad pms, only to not even notice the extra time passing by during the actual practice. After years of really disliking yoga but forcing myself to do it from time to time, I’ve finally come to love it and really look forward to the time in my day I spend doing this 30 day challenge. I’m determined to make this the first 30 challenge (of anything, not just yoga) that I successfully complete :)

    1 week of energetic work focused yoga and I have lost 1kg mostly of my tummy for the first time in my life - of course it’s not about the weight loss, but I think there’s something to be said about stress and trauma and the physical manifestation of that, as well as deep work I’ve been doing outside of yoga. I am feeling more at home in my body, more flexible, strong and in tune with my inner world than ever before. Not to mention ton yoga feels so rejuvenating and juicy and a welcome opportunity to push myself through discomfort and come home to parts of myself I thought lost ❤❤ much love to everyone!

    I needed today’s practice. I didn’t know I could come to the mat with anything other than joy. I was feeling angry and didn’t know why. Thought I would quit in the middle due to frustration, but it all melted away when Adriene said, “You are not alone.” Thank you for these series. Thank you for what you do

    I'm two days behind (because, you know, life haha - still did yoga the two days I missed the Flow practice though!) but keeping up in my own pace. I always love coming to the comments section after finishing the practice to check in with everyone. I don't contribute much in this space myself but seeing everyone leave pieces of their stories and their days is so uplifting. Thank you all!

    I found today's practice really fascinating... in the beginning my mind was racing with all the things I still need to do, but about 5 minutes in I was totally in the present and not thinking about anything- it felt so good!
    Also, well done everybody for hitting the 2 week mark! I'm proud of us!

      Absolutely agree. This is my first year doing the daily challenge, and it feels so good. I’ve been practicing yoga for some years now, but I hadn’t discovered Adriene yet. I find this daily challenge is the perfect amount of time to be able to fit it in my everyday schedule easily, and challenging enough, nevertheless. And, if a certain day I feel like doing a little bit more, I just do another day or 2 more, so I can end up with 1 hour practice that day. I already have a couple favourites for core, if I feel more energetic, and I particularly enjoy day 11 to finish the practice. Very grateful to the good friend that recommended me the 30 days daily challenge. I’m trully enjoying it. Thank you Adriene, Benji and the rest of the community for your daily support! Namaste 🙏

    Today as we entered our final pose, I was brought to tears and felt such a release. My mother is playing the most soothing light piano in the next room and it was just pure joy and I am just grateful for this journey today.

    The thing I love about practising Yoga on this channel and with Adriene is that it allows you to come with whatever it is you’re feeling, emotionally and however your body is feel like, physically. To fully become the person you feel like you are today, doesn’t matter what that might feel like or look like. With no fear of being judged. The freedom to just to be… who you are and express yourself. Much love to you all, hope to see you again tomorrow♥️

    Despite this being the longest practice so far, it went by quickly. I had to rewind to be sure Adriene meant for us to lift the left leg. I had already done that once before going into warrior two. Rewinding, I saw she had lifted her right leg the first time. A wonderful practice.

      I doubled up days 13 and 14 today. I love the strength I feel after doing yoga with you all for the last year! I’m finally better than I was before my accident 3 years ago. As if I’m in my 20s again! Thank you for leading!

    I'm about one week out of sync with the practices but I can't believe how perfectly matched this one was for my day today! I've been skiing and the stars aligned to give me a practice that was slow, calming and stretchy to balance out my high adrenaline day. I hope you all enjoyed this one as much as I did whenever you did it :)

    I didn't want to do this practise today. I feel as though I'm drowning in negative emotions. But the poem by Rumi in my welcome email from Adriene, what are the chances that I listened to it for the first time two days ago and thought wow it's like it was a lesson written just for me! And here it is presented to me again.
    Long story short, I got on the mat. Thank you, Adriene.💜💙

    Hi there ❤ YWA community member since 2020. Felt moved to share today. It’s been 4 years. At times I was practicing every day. Sometimes I didn’t practice for weeks. But every time I came back, you all made me feel welcome. Sometimes I would just play the video and read the comments. Your stories made me feel seen, accepted and connected. With time I have cultivated a regular practice that might miss a day or two, but is absolutely a necessary part of my life. My time on the mat has become my safe space. My loved ones know if they see me here to let me be. More importantly when I see myself on the mat, I know that I have a container, a zone, a small but significant amount of space for myself, and I can take up every bit of it. I find myself craving the practice. What it does for my brain is better than any stimulant or medication. The peace and clarity. The gratitude. Anyway. Thank you all. With love.

    I cried through most of this practice today. Woke up feeling defeated by weight gain and feelings of unworthiness. I have multiple traumas throughout my life with one recently in the last year so I think my body is hanging onto the trauma. I usually stuff my true emotions down so noticing and even welcoming my negative emotions today was hard but also felt loving. I think I cried mainly because it felt like I haven’t had permission to fully experience my true feelings of deep shame and guilt. My inner child was the one who did the crying today. Actively working on reparenting and this yoga practice has been helping me tremendously.

    Dear Adrien, I always thank you when I do yoga but this time I’ve decided to write you a comment. I have periods when I stop doing any form of exercise and when I feel completely disconnected from my body. And my body becomes to feel like a heavy burden that I am trying to carry. But returning to your videos is such a blessing. The knots start to open thanks to God and I feel lighter day by day. Thank you so much for what you do you are a blessing.     I love the idea behind this practice and the Rumi poem is just amazing. Everyone, remember to be gentle with yourselves. I'm still recovering from sickness so I have some catching up to do, but I took this practice very slowly and reminded myself that I'm allowed to go on my own pace. I love yoga, I love you, Adriene and I'm so grateful for this all 💌

    Woke this morning with house guests crowding in with gifts of sorrow, shame and confusion. I did allow them entry...so when I read the poem it helped me to understand and welcome the intrusion as well as today's session, with calm expectations. Gradually I learn to let go and be gentle with myself and others. ❤

    Hi from Australia, It’s 5.30pm on Monday. Another wonderful practice with a froggy squat pose included. . High lunge a challenge but am better after doing 3 years of daily yoga practice.. The lunge pose has so many benefits… stretches my sore legs, calves, tight hamstrings and hip flexors. Helps me to be focused in the moment and concentrate on breathing. That’s why I love doing Yoga practice daily. Thank you Adriene for another beautiful practice. Keeps getting better.,😊🙏💜

    Today I welcomed my negative thoughts and energy at the start when we were asked how we're feeling.
    I've started my yoga journey since the pandemic but I practiced inconsistently.
    Not giving myself the grace and kindness Adriene has always freely given caused a buildup of negative thoughts constantly fueling my cycle of self hatred.
    I now welcome a change in how I think of and see myself. This journey has been difficult but I am grateful for it. I am also grateful to Adriene and this beautiful community for making yoga practices and leaving the mat feel like I've just been given a warm embrace.

    Having had to send my dog to sleep last night I wasn't able to get on the yoga mat yesterday, but instead followed along with the breathing.     Today felt really delicious, and though the video was longer it felt like a blink. I saw somebody else mention mental shifts they’ve noticed now that we are hitting the 2 week mark and I wanted to share that I have noticed something similar :). My partner and I are working hard to commit to individual and mutual goals this year, and this 30 day challenge has been one of things we’ve committed to together.     To be a good host to all the feelings, thoughts and sensations that come up.That really stuck with me and I'll probably carry it around for a while. It's such a great way to approach one's thought, feelings and sensations, to acknowledge and feel them but without identifying them. To welcome them but then let them go. Thank you Adriene!

    Good Morning! Thank you for another lovely, sweet practice. I enjoyed and needed both the practice this morning and the poem that accompanied it. Mornings often bring uninvited thoughts, worries, hurts, fears, to do lists etc. Let them flow through and release them. Today I flowed through the practice gently and kindly. My body is changing, adapting and expanding. Less tension. Same can be said for my brain- my inner monologue. Thank you Adriene and Benji for the poetry in motion:)

    While we were doing the full body check-in at the beginning, the dog I'm dog sitting came over with so much excitement, seeking cuddles and scratches, and parked herself right on top of me, which made me laugh.     It was one of those "everything happens for a reason" moments today as I had taken two days off and am now catching up, and I was going through an anxious situation in my mind and thought the word "escape", and then few seconds later Adriene said that shifting attention to the breath is about aknowledging - not escaping. I felt like I really needed to hear that right now

    Love this practice. My thoughts found myself laying peaceful on the beach, I could almost hear the waves and feel the warmth of the sun. In a month I am going to be going on my first flight, to my first trip to a sunny destination, in Cuba, at 54. I've had somewhat severe anxiety and panic my whole life and I'm hoping that with the breathing and taking my mind to a place of peace I can conquer this fear and anxiety and make this the most enjoyable, anxiety and stress free experience I could ever imagine. I've been on this yoga journey for 8 years and it's helped immensely, both mentally and physically. Thank you Adriene for all that do for each and every one of us ❤

    What a gorgeous practice. Today I had to be assertive in a tough conversation (which does not come naturally) and I found myself quietly telling myself ‘I am strong’. This yoga journey is doing so much for my life beyond what happens on the mat and I’m so grateful!

    I'm late again this year, but I'm so glad I'm sticking with this. Our elderly dog got really sick this week and didn't get better, so we ended up having to put him to sleep yesterday. He's been with us for 17 years, since I was 12. The stress of it completely wrecked my stomach and I took a few days to rest, but today decided to give this a try. The pace of this was perfect but the check in at the beginning was hard, I admit. I didn't really want to do it. And when you brought attention to Benji and how grateful you are to share space with him, that definitely made me cry again. But once again this practice was exactly what I needed. Thank you.

    I woke up feeling groggy and like my body was a bag of wet cement. My mind was racing with a million thoughts. Focusing on my breath enabled me to stop the swirling of thoughts, as well as to get my body in motion to feel lighter. This video might be one of my favorites ever. So many good little mantras - "be a good host", "sharing space", "you are not alone"...💕 Sure felt that shift in the energetic body today, both from the practice and these beautiful comments!

    Woke up so cold and stiff and reluctant to do this practice but by the end I was toasty and more limber. Most importantly, I realized that I feel stiff bc I was clenching my neck and jaw for no reason (?!) so gonna try to mindfully relax, take and advil, & take it easy until I feel better. ❤love to all esp anyone else who isn't feeling their best. ✨

    I took a pause for several days when I realized I was in the middle of this session and I was not enjoying it at i should. I was thinking more of it as a task to accomplish and because I was a little behind. This pause was good for me. This morning, i took a walk with my almost 4 years old daughter in the woods. When we came back I feel to go again on my mat and my daughter joined me. I was full of gratitude for this beautiful morning shared with her. This practice was nice and I am ready to continue this journey with fun, compassion and at my pace. It is ok. ☺️ Happy to read some of you continue this journey at slow pace like me ☺️
