- In this video I will explain the install process of the @fatbaggersinc.6480 Clutch cable extension and why you need this great and very simple part for any type of riser. I used the @dragspecialties1968 5.5 inch pullback risers. Tallest I would recommend without using cable or wiring extensions.

Thanks! That was a well produce video! I'm changing the bars on my '21 RK and tried re-routing outside of the neck nacelle. The cable weas about 2" too short with stock routing and about 10" too long with the new routing (clutch cable loops out way too far from the bike). This extension is the bomb.

@@nuichari305 I didn’t have to with the risers I used, 5.5 pullback.
fatbaggers makes an aftermarket clutch adjuster which seems to be light years better than that plastic spring bs. I'll be upgrading mine eventually. I also installed one of these extenders and realized how crappy the adjustment is.
You are absolutely correct!! One of these days, I will put out the video for that too.
Great video. Unfortunately if you have a bike with a lower fairing you just can't access this area. Fat Baggers should notify you of this before they take your order. They claim it can be done, but have no instructions on doing it.
That definitely is not ideal for an easy install. A small disclaimer would help to prepare people before they purchase. If I get an opportunity to do one with lower fairings I will definitely film it to show how it is done.
How about the brake cable extension?
Good amount of slack for the 5.5. I’ve heard there is enough for 6.5, but may have to adjust the angle of the lines at the reservoir and under fork bracket.

Your video is spectacular, but I wonder about the hydraulic brakes, that is why I asked. So what you are saying is that the Front brakes has 5.5" slack? Well that is good to know! Thank you.
@@rolandjosef7961 I’m pretty sure the 5.5 would have enough slack on the breakout. It is not to hard of an install, just make sure you cover the tank with a towel or something soft. Good luck and thanks for watching.
I have '20 Fatboy, currently stock bars with 2" risers, I am looking at 6" risers... but I am guessing the 4" extension will work the best ... ???
