The more I listen to Rotting Christ the more I realize that they are the best band ever. I am having trouble listening to other music without comparing to RC and realizing RC is just on another level.
For a band that doesn't truly incorporate classic or cultural influence, I'd say they're definitely amongst the best of the bands that just go hard as fuck

Jonas this is your personal opinion and I respect you that, the rock music is so diverse, black metal got that category for the kind of words ( dark words) opposite of religion with o touch of satanism, guttural voices, and more, this band got all of them or do you think black metal only have to sound like behemoth, Bathory, Dimmu Borgir, with orchestra, can you see that, it sounds so different, Mayhen, Emperor, etc. So are you musician?

I really don't think black metal is about the image (satanism/paganism) it's all about the sound.Riffs/melody/atmosphere.This just doesnt sound like neither 2nd wave black metal nor post-blackmetal. And yes I play guitar.
