I initially gave up on this game for a variety of reasons, but when they added Rotting Christ as DLC for boss fights, I jumped back in to finish it finally. Definitely made it that much better!

Why there is no soundtrack like this in Souls series? No, I like Yuka Kitamura's, Tsukasa Saitoh's, Nobuyoshi Suzuki's and Motoi Sakuraba's music, but during boss fights I would prefer to hear some metal music to headbang than orcherstal.
I think fromsoft should try to experiment with stuff like metal, it would be such a great change from the usual orchestral music. It’d also pump you up rather than just make the fight feel dramatic.

That game is literally like dark souls just more aggressive, the only thing that’s different is the design of the world and enemies. And every game is copy and pasted? What about Sekiro and Elden Ring? If anything Sekiro is the most distinct souls game, especially when looking at its mechanics. But at the core it’s just like every other souls game because if it doesn’t follow the souls formula, then it’s not a souls game. The reason why keeping the same formula works is because the game doesn’t hold your hand. It’s not a brain dead game that always tells you what to do. That’s why people like it.

Yes, because the music is recorded while I play the "boss fight" with Hardern and since in the meantime I was doing perry to him the music goes down in volume during the animation ... Despite all the audio effects were disabled except the music. ..

I think a mixture of genres would fill very well in the Souls series. I love the Orchestal mood, but they have to add variety, like this one.
I don't think metal fits the atmosphere of Dark Soul. That's the most likely reason why they don't use it.
