Nothing even close to a bad or sub par release of any description, there's not many bands at the same point in their careers's as Primordial could even hint at such stringent consistency
@ Agreed , such a cool bunch of bastards , they have their unique sound of metal and they forge onwards always, they never forget their roots nor their allies, they are the metal pride of Ireland and will be forever.
I've fallen in love with Primordial the moment I've heard them. I can't describe the way their lyrics and Alan's voice resonates with me and with my Russian soul. When he sings about history, heroes, martyrs, wars, death and struggle, there is so much in it for me and my culture. Probably, it is a true art, it speaks the language all people understand.
When I think of visuals, cinematic works that Primordial could be the soundtrack to, I more often than not come up with something Russian. I think it's the depth, soulfullness and suffering expressed so fiercely and precisely. Some eternal grimness without the cliches.
The Irish and Russian histories are not that dissimilar. Of course one country is vastly bigger than the other, but both are steeped in tragedy, conflict and the struggle to preserve themselves, sometimes against every odd.

Nothing to say more than Primordial is the fucking best! Each album is just pure joy for ears and they are geniuses to throw us songs so catchy but also so easy to remember! After 30 seconds of this song, I already was singing with it and that's the beauty of Primordial! And in live... one of the top 5 bands! Saw them 4 times in Party San and 1 time in Switzerland, each time it's fabulous!

Aborted has some excellent lyrics, aswell beneath the massacre, but you're probably not so much into the core thing, well then i would suggest looking up ulcerate or gorguts or beheaded, nile is awesome too when it comes to that or tryptikon, the lsit goes on and on...

These are entire albums of highly intelligent lyrics, Enjoy. I know some are pretty main stream but that's kinda my point... you missed very easy albums to find.

Will there ever be a bad Primordial album or song? They are so incredibly consistent and their live shows conjure real manly emotions unlike many "oh so hard and kvlt" trying bands...
Outstanding job indeed, you guys went far above my espectations, you made something that I hope is never buried by time and stands there as the greatest example on how music is indeed art and comes from the heart, powerfull.
You only say this when the attacks come from outside of their borders. Where were you guys the years prior? When people wanted to be independent but are killed and bombed against it?
I like this approach to folk metal, it is dark and depressing, but in same time epic. This band has an unique sound which help them to distinguish from danceble sound of bands like Turisas, Finntroll, Ensiferum and Korpiklaani and also this approach is different from the progier side of folk metal ( bands like Moonsorrow,Negura Bunget, Vintersorg and Borknagar).
