Hillmans battle at Silverstone!

Back after a long winter break at Silverstone for the first 2 rounds of the CTCRC pre 66 championship.
I wasn't sure i was going to make this round but a last minute decision to build an engine out of the parts we had at home turned out to be the right way to go. Very down on power but I think i made the most of it!
A new challenger appears!
David Heale in his rapid 1040cc Imp has joined to try and take the class E title from me.
An epic battle ensued...

I'm amazed there's that much speed difference between yours and a 1040. You certainly make up for the difference in handling and pure commitment!

Yes this is a dog box with changeable ratios.
This engine was a very old 998cc hillclimb engine, it was down on power by about 30 BHP so I did well to keep up with the other Imp!
