This is a long one folks!
What an awesome time this was!!!!!!
Thanks Fellas!
Great video. There's nothing like getting together with friends for a little competition.
CZ all the way 👍
Looks like tikka takes all. Great vid and I like the tricks!

Good shooting men!!! Good fun!!!
Very fine marksmanship by the three of you! Great video...
LOL John, you've been Had. And still shot really well! lol
Love this channel… lol 😂
great stuff
Good shooting 👍👍
I think Big John is the winner. Damn that Tika can shoot....and with mixed ammo !!!!
Don't give him that much credit Terry his head is big enough. Only the last wo groups was shot with mixed ammo -- last 10 rounds.
dm got yall but awsome shooting for everybody love the videos
Semper Fi sir!
Some nice shooting on a good day to be out sailing.
Love that Anschutz, looking for a left hand one here in Australia, there's a years wait on it right now.
Well MRG, you definitely out Joeled old man Joel ! But Big Red held his own with that Tikka. Some darned good shooting by all you guys in that wind! Gotta bring DM back with that Vudoo I know it's got better to give.
I laughed, I frowned, I was left in suspense! Haha! Great video, man.
At least you mixed Match ammo....you could have tossed in some Thunderbolts and Federal bulk ammo! Red would throw his tifle on the ground and stomp on it!
I’m a Tikka fan and that before watching the CZ452 footage
Good video as always. Now do it again without the wind.
I think you all won, any time you have friends together having fun everyone wins.
Your videos demonstrating different ammunition and rifles are at the top of my list for information, not to mention entertainment, so thank you. :-) The thing that I question most often about yours and others’ is target selection because targets that make it possible to minimize aiming errors are seldom used by the testers. If it’s not possible to be certain that we’re aiming at the exact same spot with every shot, our groups will probably suffer. It’s hard to imagine anything much worse than trying to aim with a black reticle on a big black circle target. I demonstrated that for myself today when determining points of impact at close ranges. I normally use blue diamond-shaped targets for precision tests, and they work fine at longer distances. At close range, though, my crosshairs were wandering around the small open circle in the center, and I felt I should be shooting smaller groups. When I changed my point of aim to the intersection of two grid lines on the paper, my groups tightened immediately. For example, I shot a smaller five-shot group at 37.5 yards than at 22.5 and a smaller one at 27.5 than at 17.5 yards.
Got lucky finding a cz 452 super Brno 2500 about 2-3 years ago in a pawn shop for 300 bucks. Best decision I ever made.
Loooong barrel I think it’s just shy of 29” long
Good shooting John
THANK GOD JOHN IS A GREAT SPORT ...!!!!! GREAT VIDEO ...!!!!! OK, USMC/ SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO ...? ? ? HELLO JOHN .. PAYBACK TIME ...!!!!!!!!!!! ... DOUBLE G. HERE....!!!
I just bought the vortex crossfire ll...4x12x44
sorting by rim thickness 100% does help to some extent, the consistency it brings is most evident on cheaper ammo.....where you would potentially have a much higher SD.
The Wind WON
In big reds defense you did say shoot the top target then the bottom target. I’d love to get a T1X in.22. Good shooting all of you!!
Which .22 would you suggest would you suggest below 1k..that shoots great
All of Ya'll shot well .
Always enjoy watching. Waste of time sorting ammo for sure
What brand is your head space measuring gear ???
Well its about time BIG RED!!! Lets see whatcha`got big man! (lol)
Gitt`r done MARINE! Show that youngster how its done! (hehehe)

Hilarious
Big Red defiantly the Winner… Wiped the range with you bums.. 😂
302 I like the last part a lot all three guys shooting the exact same gun with the exact same ammo on the same day.
I will admit all the hype about anschutz rifles I’m shocked how poorly it shot for all three of you
The usual problem with rimfire precision rifles is they tend to "like" only certain specific ammo types, and lot numbers. When they first got the 1727F it came with a test target fired with RWS R50, and they used a box of the same for their initial shooting, and despite their rushed shooting, it still grouped better than you see here. But if you try 20 different ammo types in it, you WILL find one or two that will shoot MUCH better than the rest. \
My 1827F Left-hand Biathlon rifle will absolutely smoke most of my custom target rifles with it's favourite ammo any day. Even with open sights on a bench, it'll do 12-14mm groups @ 50m all day long.
When you're shooting different ammo all the time, the first 5 to 10 rounds are all pretty much "fouling shots" because you need the bore to coat itself with the new lube that that particular round is using.
Once you settle on a specific load (Lapua Polar Biathlon, Midas+, or RWS Rifle Special Match in my case) it will amaze you with little cloverleafs each and every time.
I also should say, that in order to see what ammo it liked the most at the beginning, I used an 11mm dovetail to Picatinny adapter on the sight rail, and mounted a Kahles K6-24i x 56 on it to get right up close with the targets. I also shot it at both 50m and 100m to make sure the performance was even across-the-board.
So.. after all of that... maybe it just doesn't like that ammo, or that LOT# of ammo. Might shoot like a "House on fire" with a different Lot# alone....
@@scottcrawford3745 thanks for the reply and the info much appreciated
CZ 452 is a beautiful rifle except for those hideous magazines. Some really smart person should figure out how to adapt the Ruger 10 round rotary magazines. That would be a sweet combo and would look much nicer to boot!
Steve I understand the thought and appreciate it but PLEASE NOT A RUGER 10/22 mag. Though very reliable I am not sure they are best for accuracy. There are many indications of them shaving the bullet and changing the profile. Some do some don't go back and view one of the Ranger22 video's.
@@Dayattherange Thanks for the reply. I'll defer to your experience. That Anschutz was pretty sweet. Supposed to have a calm day here in Washington and you are inspiring me to grab a couple of my 22s and head to the range. Hopefully you will get some calm days yourself soon.
@@stevej2120 Cmon Steve get out and have some fun 😁😁 Good luck buddy
Look you could be on to something. All kinds of different ammo and some great groups with only a couple of fliers? go figure.
Why not try a keystone 722. American made
All kidding aside you shoot awfully fast to get good groups I'm serious.
Beagleman
I would be shooting the middle target at the little spot in the middle if you can't hit that little spot you need some more practice.
Beagleman
So this told me nothing about how the ammo or rifles because it was not a fair shoot and the wind.
Oh cmon Ken it was FUN. The last two groups from the tikka were the only groups impacted.
@@Dayattherange Can`t please them all, Eli. Some just take things way to serious. This video was GREAT!
Yes. It was funny. Great video
You shoot to fast you not taking time to breathe
Please learn how to run the 1727 action correctly, it's designed so you only need two fingers!
Watch the other video you will see I mention this very thing. If it were my rifle for me to spend time with I surely would.
Liked most of your videos, and this one except the switching of ammo. I am a strong believer when some one is trying to do there best, you should be helping them, not playing games.
