Those weird bits on the Tyranid's hides are the zippers, so that the goblins can get in and out at the start and end of their shifts.
Well done! Building and painting this box can be a nightmare 😅 awesome look for a weeks work!
Interestingly I'm working on the Tryanids Combat patrol (and another 1500pts of Tyranids) - which is probably why this video appeared in my feed.

Looking sick! Currently working my way through the leviathan space marines as dark angels. Also got stuck painting the main base coat of orange on my brothers tyranids with my airbrush. Unfortunately it's over black primer (noob mistake) meaning I now need another bottle of orange fire.

I'm just going to pull my jumper up and hide it in for the rest of the evening... All Britishness aside, that basing really brings it together. Tis surprising what a difference it makes for helping to unify the army as a whole.
With Legions just around the corner I've been practicing painting on the abundance of traitor (Boo, hiss!) titan panels I've got laying around the place. I really want to work out how to give them more contrast and volume without the expense of forking out for an air brush. Also trim - titans panels are great for practicing your trim. So. Much. Trim.
I'm always going to be in team airbrush... Doesn't even have to be that expensive and you can get so much out of it ;)
Currently projects include: Build remaining space marines from Leviathan, build ~170 Skaven models (some with conversions/bashes), build up remaining Eldar and paint them, and the occasional side project to break up large projects. Not busy at all!
