Contrast paints are so damn perfect for Tyranids.. and best way to make sure the whole lot matches without losing your mind painting a billion teeth and carapaces 😁

Just remember Luke that the Tyrant guard give your Hive tyrant a 5+ feel no pain right out of the box. Unless you are looking for the 4+ feel no pain, or to keep the feel no pain should the guards die, i would look at another enhancement.
So I'm thinking the 5+ FNP for the hive tyrant only applies to that model? So protects him from like sniper shots. But his guard models dont get it? I could be wrong:)
@@StrikingScorpion82 that's how I read it as well.
@@StrikingScorpion82 the guards only give 5+ feel no pain to the character that is leading their unit, so no the guards themself don't give themself a feel no pain.
Adaptive Biology have the exact same effect, but with a bonus if the character have suffered damage (4+ instead of 5+).
Neither gives the guards a feel no pain. thats where the Stratagem comes in.
Sure the Adaptive Biology could be usefull when the guards are dead, or if precision is an issue, but only for thet 4+ if the character have suffered damage.
In most other cases i choose a different Enhancement for my Tyrant, or spent the points on other stuff.
The games i have played, the 4+ or 5+ makes very little difference, becouse my opponents target the unit with high damage wapons, so my tyrant is still likely to get taken down with me rolling a lot of 1-3 on the feel no pain rolls anyway.
This "series" with the tactics videos and the army overview is awesome! Would really wnjoy if you did something simular for the other armies 👍

Give perfectly adapted to the warrior prime because you can reroll your failed charges for him and his unit and that's better on them because they do more damage in melee than the tyrant and they die quicker if they fail a charge and are exposed. Also you can keep him in the back of the squad so the warriors move up first and then he has 12" move with fly so he can sort of leap frog to the front and you get like 2 extra inches of movement on the squad with the reroll charges from perfectly adapted.
Painting looks nice, but I would have like to have seen a closer shade of white/bone on the armor and made them look albino. Really digging that pink base and then layered white, makes of em look creepy and pallid.
And the Screamers have come down to 145 as I'm sure you know, so space in the army for another Lictor maybe?? :p
I think this list has the new Screamer Killer points value...if not yes more Lictors!:)
