This is the right fight for both of these guys at the perfect time. Per the script, this is about as far as Dirrell goes in the sport at the top level. He's coming off that loss to Benavidez a couple fights ago so he's just here to tune Caleb up with solid competition before he fights Benavidez. Caleb should win this fight but I expect Dirrell to fight hard. After this, Caleb will be in the same position where he should be a tune up for Benavidez vs Canelo. The only difference is I expect Benavidez to knock Caleb out cold lol This is why I love boxing; even though you see the roadmap, the boxer's fate is ultimately in their hands/fists.
