Dude, get yourself a 70mm flex hone 240 grit and rehone the block (can use on 70-72mm). When you see a piston skirt that scuffed up it's also taken out the cross hatching on the cylinder walls. Needs a kiss to clean up. That's why it's burning oil. Looks like it was running way to rich and the methanol was cleaning the oil off the cylinder walls.

I just got this 224cc brand new. I took the gov out.i put the air index back to 0003./80mm. It has a stage 2 carb Somehow it won't catch on

Hey brother, what’s your opinion on a 420 predator versus them 212 when I say this what I mean is in performance you can bolt on a 420 stock and just be doing 6065 mile an hour versus a 212 having to do all the modifications to get it somewhere near that buck what do you think?

You really need to check ring gap. Look up how to do it properly and that’s a major step. That cylinder looked scrubbed out from all the fuel. And his carb was probably flooding it out bad and that will destroy a piston and cylinder wall. M5 will still run flooded out and it will “wash” the cylinder out

This was happening to me it was smoking like a freight train from the wrong piston rings and wrong piston I got from Amazon I ordered a new one from gps and honed the cylinder hopefully it fixes it
You should be good after you add the correct piston
