I have the same broken bolt top front drivers side. Did you use a regular drill? Did the drill fit in there or did you use a 90 degree low profile drill? Thanks.
Awww man sorry that happened! Broken bolts suck! It wasn’t a regular drill though.. it was one of those bolt extraction kits.. you basically use one of there provided drill bits.. and then after you drill enough to work with, you use one of the provided extraction bits and it should come out.. My buddy did that part though I really didn’t trust myself😣 search on CZcams bolt extraction kits.. so you can kind of get an idea of how that works bro🙏🏼
Also make sure you center punch it first

So I was looking to order that oil dipstick for my truck does it matter that it says that the oil dipstick location is on the passenger side because mostly all 09-18 rams oil diptick locations are on the driver side and I don't know if that makes a difference or not
I never noticed that it said that.. follow the link for the dipstick I left in the description and that's the exact one that worked for me

I just did a couple ugga duggas😅 and came back and re tightened just in case after a couple days and I never had an issue..
How many 02 sensor extensions did you buy I just ordered a set of long tubes and I’m sure I need them
You Def need two for the front o2 sensors.. and alot of times the tuner will tune the rear ones out.. I bought for just to have the rears in there.. but my tuner tuned them out

It really depends on what you are comfortable spending bro.. if you can afford ARH long tubes I would go that route bro, quality and fitment are top notch!
I just installed the jba 1 3/4 long tubes on my Ram. I had to put a good 1in long dent on my driver side to clear the steering shaft. Mine is 4x4 so dont know if that matters, but they were no fun installing.
Kyle Gibson most headers require you to dent the primary tube on the drivers side, which I planned on doing but to my surprise my headers actually cleared.. I was alittle surprised tbh.. glad you got yours to work though🙌🏼 I love how my truck performs with the new headers and tune!😬🏁💨
@@Gonzalez_Garage I had Hemifever tune mine as well over a year ago and data logged for a tune. I have the new header tune installed now and he told me no data logging was needed. Did you just get yours tuned for the first time when you installed your headers?
Kyle Gibson yea that’s correct bro.. I was running the basic diablosport 93 tune prior to the hemifever tune💯 ended up data logging and everything looked great first go so that’s awesome🙌🏼 how you liking your tune??

Just ordered some LT headers today. Do I NEED the Y pipe? It looked like my shorty headers go into the cats and then they bolt onto the factory Y pipe already?
Unfortunately it's not the se for longtubes.. a y pipe is not necessary although you'll have to get a muffler shop to fab something up for you

Any fitment issues at all like any flanges not matching or anything like that?
Bryan Madriz honestly everything paired up well.. the y pipe takes some convincing and I did had an exhaust leak with the band clamps they provide. However I took it to get welded since I was going to do custom true duals any how👍🏼
Did the headers on my truck but currently have a bent oil tube. How did you remove the oil tube?
I think I just pulled it out if I’m not mistaken it has like a rubber o ring that locks it in place.

I’ve heard between pace makers and jba there the best bang for your buck! Aside from the ones I got but unfortunatly are sold out/ discontinued at the moment.. you may have to make a small dent in the primary tube on the passenger side to clear the steering column but you have to do that even with some of the 1800 headers so not bad at all bro👊🏼💯

I had them tuned out with hemi fever bro so I really didn’t even need to run anything

I ended up getting it welded bro.. because I had small exhaust leaks so I took it to the muffler shop and just welded it where the clamp goes👍🏼
Have you ever thought about upgrading to an electric fans and delete the clutch fan?
Great eye! and yea it was actually upgraded a few videos after this one! I made a video on the e fan and 160 t stat and merged it into my hemifever tune video since it was somewhat of a short video😅🙌🏼
@@Gonzalez_Garage not a very wise move. The clutch fan is a primary reason ram trucks don’t drop valve seats at the same rate as the hemi cars with electric fans. Thermostat change is an adorable attempt made by people on the forums to try to keep from overheating their engine. The only real fix (probably impossible on cars) is a clutch fan that never stops trying to remove heat from the bay. Especially with the AC on.

Waylon Wire's Old Iron all of the o2s go further down.. there’s two at the very end of the longtubes and 2 on the y pipe bro.. so I extended all of them to be able to reach the new locations.. no problem bro👍🏼
i have the Borla Catback Exhaust Dual Rear Exit w/ Black 5" Tips, varamram intake, 85mm throttle body, 180 thermostat. I've been thinking of getting headers now because I have a few leaks on my stock ones so what do you thinking of the ARH? I guess the 1 7/8"? then im going to follow that with the 87mm throttle body, efan and tuner
You have a solid setup bro!🙌🏼🔥 ARH are the best in the business you can’t go wrong💯 those and stainless works are some high quality headers.. I heard if you got an NA build then 1 3/4 are better, and if you go boosted or nitrous 1 7/8 are better.. the headers I got didn’t offer 1 3/4 when I ordered them so I went with these.. i love them! And got really good results. the difference in 1 7/8 and 1 3/4 is much but I thought I’d share that bit of info with you👊🏼
why did you add those heat shield on headers? do you think i should get the dip stick also?
Joe Charlin I wanted to keep the engine bay cool.. some headers offer ceramic coating that’s keeps the temps down.. my did not.. but if you plan to wrap your headers, check with the company you choose because some company’s will void there warranty if you wrap them.. and definitely get the dipstick! The original dip stick does not fit properly in between the tubes and you’ll have to bend it.. and it could possibly crack.. or cause a false knock from tapping on the header tubes

I left a link to everything in the description. I think the headers have been discontinued on Amazon but look them up online maybe you can find them. They are DNA motoring headers.

I ordered it off Amazon unfortunately they no longer provide it. The headers are DNA motoring headers and some ppl have found them on ebay.. as far as the gaskets, bolts etc I provided a link in the description

I never got it dyno tuned but based on some of my races I’d guess a very solid 360 whp

Wraps isn’t necessary but I did it to keep my engine temps down👍🏼 but your right center punching it would be smart! Luckily I had no exhaust leak issues🙏🏼

Why the wrap for heat ?
Yea bro, the wrap is for the heat soak in the engine bay.. more heat in the engine bay=less power.. if I would've gotten ceramic coated headers I probably wouldn't have wrapped them

Hey bro I installed my headers but it’s touching the break lines on the driver side
Hey what's up bro! So with any headers it's usually touching or really close! So what you can do it bend then alittle to keep them away from touching the headers.. use something to pry against the brake lines.. don't be scared, I've read many forums and everyone does it.. you can bend them out of the way💯 hope this helps

motopocho o if your going to go through the trouble of upgrading headers I’d go straight for the longtubes. Both are an upgrade over stock but longtubes will give you a lot more performance. exact hp numbers I’m not sure bro. I probably gained about 30-35hp with Longtubes

ManRo Ro absolutely🙌🏼 I’ll try to mention it in a future video but I got a drive shaft pro 1 piece DS.. as you may already know the driveshaft in the 8 speed are pretty weak and eventually throw in the towel😪 these driveshaft pro DS can handle a ton of power and can really take a beating.. it cost right around 800 bucks

The headers sold out on that link and I’m not sure if they discontinued them with the whole epa thing goin on nowadays😓 maybe you can find some floating around on eBay though.. there called DNA motoring longtube headers 1 7/8, and the y pipe is also DNA motoring.. the headers where 200 bucks and y pipe like 150ish I believe.. I hope that helps bro🙏🏼 also don’t forget to get quality gaskets, bolts, and flexible dipstick tube so you won’t have any issues👍🏼

There holding up great! No cracks in welds no exhaust leak or anything! I sold this truck but I know the new owner and zero issues🙌💯

Whats the difference from long tube headers to shorty headers
Just one is long and the other is hard to work with
You get more performance with the longtube headers.. short tubes also gives you performance over stock exhaust manifolds but not as much as longtubes will give you

Enzo Longer port pipes result in lower exhaust back pressure. This means improved oxygen intake and a boost in horsepower. Really it all depends on what goals you want to achieve with your truck👏🏼 both are good options though over stock

Yea it does! Getting the new one in was a bit of a pain for me because I kept over thinking if it was in properly.. but It was and never had an issue with it🙌🏼

@@raheemtucker9722 unfortunately I did my drop kit before I started doing youtube.. but I used an angle grinder and made it work! It was a real pain in the butt😰 but basically I managed to cut one side of the weld and pried it up.. and wiggled it up and down until the other side broke off.. it’s hard to explain but it can be down.. it took me 2 days.. with a plasma cutter I bet it would be a breeze😅

Whats the y pipe for
It connects the longtube headers to the factory exhaust pipe.. another alternative to the Y pipe is to get custom exhaust work at the muffler shop 👍🏼

I did use all 4.. I believe the rear ones are disabled but I have the o2s in there anyways😅

Aviles Jose since I decided to go catless and in order to pass emissions and not get a check engine light they got tuned out.. however I have been seeing a lot of tuners said they will no longer be tuning out emissions because of some new policies, there cracking down on tuners😩😩

In this video it was magnaflow muffler delete and resonator delete.. so basically straight pipe.. currently I have X pipe and two carven r series mufflers though

Headers and y pipe links are not working
Unfortunatly they sold out from Amazon and took down the listing 😩 I don’t have another link for you, however others have had luck finding them on eBay.. they are called DNA motoring headers
I really need that headers setup but the Amazon link is unavailable thanks!
The link was taken down I think the sold out.. the headers are called DNA motoring 1 7/8 longtube headers.. some people have found them on amazon.. they ran me about 300 and like another 100 for the y pipe..

@@cpenister6218 nah you don't have to.. a muffler shop can customize all of that but I kinda changed the route I wanted to go with after I bought the y pipe

Where’s the oil dipstick at?
It’s been replaced and relocated with the flexible dipstick to get out of the way of the header tubes preventing a false knock.. i bolted it to the brake booster on the right hand side
Where did you get it from, they available at places like Autozone?
