Jw around 7:00 is there not a oxymercurarion/demercuration reaction that happens or is the mechanism just skipping that part and showing the end results

In the previous video (Oxymercuration and Demercuration), Sir explained that this is experimentally observed that there is no rearrangement that takes place.
B'coz actually no C+ is formed. As the Pi electrons shift to Hg, the carbon bearing delta+ gets lone pair instantly from Hg.

Rearrangement does not happen in this reaction that's how it differs from markonikof rule
