@@ksajak No bother, I just have so much 0w-20 so thats what I use, I do have 3in1 oil in one of those old metal cans, I will use that too, I say find something that you are comfortable using and stick with it, it will save money over time! if you find one of those old oil cans that I use you will find you like it!
Amazon and they are Red Label Abrasives, fine, medium, & coarse, the coarse will not work on some types of machines had to warm mine up and try to stretch it ! not really sure of grits!!!!! 3 belts about 35.00 dollars!

Mobile grease, it is blue in color, the oil is 0w-20 synthetic cheap stuff from Wal Mart, I hope you get all them cleaned up this weekend!

Sitting in Evapo-Rust for five weeks destroyed that part and probably weaken the rest of the tool as well.

I think you are right, I remember my dad using tallow before!!!!! I have forgotten about that!
