Sad and ironic that he easily recovered from all the F1 accidents but a mundane skiing accident maimed him irrecoverably.
You should not speak publicly about stuff you know nothing about. You have no idea what sort of speed you can go on skies. And instead of races it is not car with crumple zone that takes impact first, but you. Sadly because of censorship these day, I cannot express what I think about likes of you, with no common knowledge or common sense.
Michael Schumacher proved he was the best without DRS cheating... he will forever be the last true F1 champion of F1... F1 died with DRS.
HUH????? F1 is MUCH more popular now, and cars can actually follow each other and pass on track all over the track even without DRS, unlike before. If DRS was such a "cheat" then the car that got passed, has equal opportunity to repass the car that over took him.

I've only seen Michael Schumacher through his appearance on Top Gear and thought he was a nice and genuine fellow. I'm American so I don't watch that much F1, but it saddens me to hear that he's going through this. I hope he is able to pull through and for any fans that read this please forgive my ignorance. I just hated to see that he was going through this.

@@Nonpain Yep, he is probably just a shell at this point. Might just died that day he felt on the rock, probably was his death sentence, but was kept in this artificial state. Maybe deep down he would appreciate to be able to just go, but he probably has no mental capacity to form any opinion or make any decisions on his own.
schumacher won 13 races in a 16 race season. If he had 22 or more races he would have won maybe 20.

I'm no doctor but I feel that with brain injury, whilst it is probable to see improvement over time....like my mum who had a stroke...its been a decade now. Unlikely to recover a huge amount further now...hope I'm wrong

It means he's alive, but more like just existing.
Laying there having people wipe dribble from his face, change his adult nappies, can't have a conversation with people. Can't do anything meaningful in life.
Even having people feed you like you're a baby etc.
So when someone says a person is a vegetable or in a vegetative state, it means they lay there still like a vegetable on a bench, can't do anything that a real edible vegetable can't.
