My opinion is not everyone goes to bank for gold loan. Especially people working in unorganized sector doesn't have much banking process exposure and they know going to banks for any service will take minimum half of their working day. So they look for other alternate quick service providers like muthoot and Manappuram. Some people who is looking for very quick service goes to pawn shops also.

@@Shelby1237 agree. But they are very much competitive in interest rate with banks. People going to pawn shops will reduce over the period of time because they charge huge interest rate and lots of hidden charges too. So in the long run, interest rate will play a huge role in retaining the customers. For banks, gold loan business % is limited but for muthoot and Manappuram, gold loan is the main business. So they will have edge over other banks in the business.
It's very simple...manapuram and muthoot will give more cash for 8 grams of gold than public banks....so obviously people will look for extra money rather than interest rate..

Why Adani group is prepaying their loans? since the valuation of their stocks become nothing, so foreign lenders don't want to wait till the due date may be even September 2024 and insisting him to pay in advance .Also margins have become very low,and margin means like buying a share with 50 %margins and if margin falls below the value then you have to invest more funds to hold the stock or reduce the quantity or sell, hence Adani in order to protect his loan he would have prepaid full or part of the loan since collateral for his stocks won't be accepted for future loan.
It's becomes necessary for Adani to prepay the loans obtained from foreign banks that's what they are doing, see how the foreign banks are reacting to the situation not getting into bankrupt.
Indian Banks should also follow these steps to avoid becoming bankrupt, they are keeping mum and and not even disclosing the value of money they have lent to Adani.

ITC didn't record in revenue and profit in FMCG, it's profit from FMCG is only 13% like other FMCG companies.
Turnaround came on account of it's hotel business, which made 50% of profits from the overall profit as they earn foreign exchange from overseas visitors,we can call as a exporter and due to Dollar appreciation against INR.I have been giving the explanation in this channel many times.Anand Srinivasan was talking about ITC improvement due to FMCG sector.
Not only ITC hotel division you must view the performance of other hotel companies like Indian Hotels, Oriental Hotels etc as their stock prices almost doubled in last 6 months.

Instead of doing part payment to the housing loan. If you have sufficient backup 6 months of salary. You can increase the home loan EMi. This will reduce your term and saves lot of money.
Part payment during the initial tenure of a loan will decrease the interest massively...So if we have enough funds prepayment should be the priority....
@@nichuvk2415 you are correct, if we have money we always do the part payment. But If I need to do part payment i need to save that money for few months. Just take Anand Sir example. Instead of saving 2 months EMI for year long. Pay that saving as part of EMi.
Always about Tata Steel, last year Q4 Tata Steel made profit Rs 10000 Cr and you have advised to buy at that rate of Rs 1500 per share, That profit was ahieved only by means of big hike Steel prices, also volume of productions went down. I have made comment stating that TATA steel stock price would come to Rs 800+ per share any it did reach Rs 865 per share.
Q1 2023 profit was Rs 9000 Cr
Again in Q2 profit reduced by 85%.
Then in Q3 registered loss of Rs 2200 Cr
After the share split now it's at Rs 108 per share
They have acquired Ispat Nigam plant in Orissa for Rs 2400 Cr .
When there is no demand why go for expansion?
In Q2 and Q3 Iron ore production was reduced by 60% and this is the main component to make steel and in turn there is low consumption of steel by Auto makers and real estate people.
Ultimately the share price of any steel company will see depreciation including Tata Steel.
To my knowledge Tata Steel price will come down to Rs 70 per share.
