There's still a plaque at the end of my street saying "On this spot, Vinny Jones pushed Dennis Wise into the River Wandle". Guys a legend round here.
I hope this is true
What street?
It's near the bottom of Wandle Bank, if you Google "Vinnie Jones River Wandle" its one of the first hits
Shite player though
Who cares, I buy it !
From now on Paul Gascoigne will simply be known as "That Guy"
I'm not even a football fan and I'm still ashamed of Conan for that
@@sharktamer you can't expect an American to know any soccer player by sight, and that's absolutely fine. no yank would be annoyed if you failed to name any given quarterback. different countries follow different sports.
Gazza.
And the worst part maybe is that not even Vinnie mentions Gazza
Gazza will never be just “that guy”
I worked with a lady who used to work at Sheffield United as a receptionist when Vinnie was there and she had planned a holiday and was so excited. Sadly her dog needed an expensive surgery a few weeks before so she needed to cancel the holiday to pay for the treatment. Vinnie found out and brought in a paper back with £1000 in it and told her to get the dog better and enjoy her holiday. He also told her to not tell anyone as he had a reputation to uphold. Hard man, soft heart x
Love it … thanks for sharing
"You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity". Bullet tooth Tony.
Snatch😂
😂😂 😶🦷
That Guy being Paul Gascoigne
Arguably the greatest British talent of all time .
Wife beater Gascoigne
Exactly !!!
Nothing like doing your homework.
🤣🤣
Famous wife beater
Americans wouldn't know or care about him at all.
Greatest😂😂😂😂 u having a laugh not even near it
As an American who loves British culture, I apologize on behalf of Conan for calling Gazza "that guy".. 😅
Would have thought Vinnie would have mentioned ‘that guy’ was twenty times the player he was??? And he’s a mate of his.
@@Greg-lp1cg facts
@@Greg-lp1cg100% I’m Aussie but my first glimpses of Gazza was his goal v Scotland when I was 8. They don’t make em like that any more.
Thank you sir! Have a word with some of your fellow Americans would ya!?
lol…apology accepted! 😂
Lock & Stock - Snatch - Mean Machine - EuroTrip - X Men the Last Stand.
He is a legend!!
or typecasted
which he seems ok with
"Avi, pull your socks up."
He was excellent in the Gentlemen
Redirected: "Lithu... fcking what?"
Gone in 60 seconds
He plays another good part in The Gentleman.
It was Paul Gascoigne who's nuts he was crushing, probably the most talented English man to play the game, threw his career away though, through alcohol.
Battered women
Yep cheers geoff we all know who he is
Doubt the yanks know who Gascoigne is mate
threw it away, he played at the top level until he was 35, more than rooney managed
To be fair to him he was an alcoholic throughout his entire career, it was his knee injury in the early 90’s that hindered him badly… still capable of moments of genius throughout his career, although not sure if I’d say he played at the “top level” until he was 35… his last England cap was at 30 & that was when he was playing for Rangers…
The Crowd have no idea about what the hell he is talking about and what type of man he really was as a player 🤣😂
They don’t make ‘em like Vinnie anymore. Underrated, as he was actually a decent player. Good to see him doing well now.
D E S E R T E A G L E, .50 😂
"Avi, pull your socks up."
Awesome scene/clip
Your balls are shrinking
yours says replica on the side, and mine says....
As a 90s kid in the UK, everyone rooted for the crazy gang, no matter which team you supported.
No... No we didnt 😂
Nope, never heard of them 😂
And to just downplay that he crushed the crown jewels of Gazza... hahahahaha
Really funny timing that video given that in yesterday's Champions League match Inter player Marcus Thuram did the Vinnie Jones 'willie' crush move. And even though there's video assistant referee now, it still went unpunished (they were eliminated, so didn't end up mattering)
gotta be why this video surfaced
That was a shocking decision and they reviewed it as well.
He was a legend at Leeds. Vinnie played a few times for Wales.
"This guy", Paul Gascoigne 😂😂
“This guy” being Paul Gascoigne. Brilliant footballing talent reduced to “this guy”.
Conan obviously doesn't know him, it's nothing personal
Don't get your knickers in a twist lad
Soccering*
Ah Vinnie "that guy" c'mon man that's a pal of yours and a titan of British culture. Gazza, sadly I don't think he's got long left...so sad.
Big murial of him just round the corner from me ij wortley Leeds - and when a kid lived round corner of plough lane at Wimbledon
Thanks for interesting and valuable video as always ❤❤❤
Hearing Guy Ritchie talk about vinnie was brilliant..... the guy is pure class.. and a gentleman
yea that bar violence against actors is a real thing in England. I know Daniel Craig has said that people at bars consistently try to pick fights with James Bond, so he can't go out for a pint.
As if anyone has tried to pick a fight with Daniel Craig.
Vinnie got glassed in a pub in USA if I remember correctly
@@wigzme2717 Yes and it was for wearing a baseball cap with some American teams badge on it. I think he was in Texas, can't remember.
Sean Bean was stabbed in a pub, patched himself up, and ordered another pint. What a bloke
@@stevenknight1198 Joe Calzaghe in an interview said he went to a Chinese restaurant, and two wannbe be tough guys called him out, and ended up regretting it, so yes it happens.....
I think he'd be an amazing Alfred in Batman
Not a bad shout as he actually has some acting skills these days
Dreadful take
@@posner89 fart pie 🥧
Closer to Batman or 2 face for me haha
@@posner89you play him then eedyat
That picture wouldn't be famous if it wasn't Gazza
This is pure gold that audience sucked
So good in EuroTrip and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Have you seen Snatch?
I love that vinny made it into films. It facsinates me. Great in the gentleman series!
"Mad at this guy" only a Yank could say that... the fantastic Gazza.
Im gonna go out on a limb and say that he's probably not a fan of VAR😂
proper old school British legend
The best part of the gazza story was that gazza sent Vinnie flowers and Vinnie sent a toilet brush back
I met Vinny Jones at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow as he's good friends with Steve Collins, very nice bloke ,very humble
You grabbed this guy - ie Gazza one of most famous and talented English players
People are so butthurt about this lol 😂
😂😂😂 Vinnie is a legend
This is legit a real badass not only as Bullet Proof Tony but also in real life !
What an absolute legend. Love this guy, he's hilarious, terrifying, talented, terrifying, awesome, and terrifying.
Vinnie should have gave Gazza a mention
Given
When Vinnie was at Leeds Utd he dressed himself all in black one night, put on a black ski mask and broke into the apartment of team mate, David Batty - then jumped on him while he was asleep and started strangling him. After Batty screamed the place down in absolute terror, Vinnie fell off the bed and laughed his head off.
Gaza the player he grabbed was once classed as one of the best if not the best player in the world at the time. And he’s still classed as one of the all time greats of the sport. He’s a Geordie boy
that photo of him grabbing the guys nuts is shown to him every tv show he attends and has to explain lol
yank culture
I never knew Vinnie played soccer. I knew he played Football
I remember Vinny taking his shirt of in a pub when something didn’t quite go his way. He’s got the Welsh dragon tattooed on his back
Love vinnie jones .
You see Galavant? He's hilarious in that. "I've only ever hugged one man in my life, it was the day my father died... I squeezed the life right out of him"
I dont watch a lot of tv but def been meaning to go back and watch that. always looked funny@@jkap34
really wanna go watch Mean Machine again now!
Football is a fascinating sport
Awesome watch ⌚ 👌
"That guy" getting his bollocks crushed is one of the finest footballers to ever play the game. Vinny Jones is not.
More like a failed genius who pissed his career away.
@@TheDGAF06yeah but he did it in style
There is footage of the bar fight on CZcams
Vinni looks look he’s aged backwards anout20 years lol
There's a documentary called "The Crazy Gang" out there, you can find it online. Vinnie might have been the Captain, but their striker, John Fashanu, was no slouch either!
Vinnie Jones a legend ❤
And now I got to go watch Snatch again for the umpteenth time.
"Avi, pull your socks up."
Let me know why they call him the bullet dodger.
How can you watch something more than twice.
I've met Vinnie twice. A true gent
Not playing football, you didn't.
@@k.avilla8061 how do you know.
@user-sd2qr2gb1h Because NOBODY who ever played football against Vinny Jones EVER described him as a ' Gent". Many other 4 letter words, maybe,. I am right., aren't I ???
@@k.avilla8061 Correct it was to do with Golf
@@JamieMgamer There you go. On the football pitch he was an animal.
Just watched the gentlemen, not gonna lie but a spin off show just about his character would be a must watch.
“Football pitch”
"You got mad at this guys."
Conan FFS that guy is the legendary PAUL "GAZZA" GASCOIGNE!
“This guy”…. One of the best footballers of all time
I know. It's painful. It's like when Americans call Pelé "Pay Lay".
@@Revelian1982 how do Brazilians pronounce it?
Sphinx! 👊🤐
He’s great in The Gentlemen. At some point Jones learned to actually act. Eric Cantona. There’s a few fairly decent actors these days coming from sports, especially wrestling.
Dave Bautista is also making a decent career
@@s2Capacidade2s Exactly, talented guy. John Cena, Dwayne Johnson. And others, I’m sure. It seems like one of the few ways now that working class performers can catch a break !
@@alanhindle3149 But Dwayne and Cena kinda act the same in all movies. Bautista actually has some range, he already acted in dramas and comedies. He is not used only as the strong funny sidekick to Kevin Hart ahah
@@s2Capacidade2s That might be true, yeah. Maybe Cena hasn’t been doing this long enough to show what all he can do. But certainly, Bautista has already shown quite a range, has made more interesting choices, or has been offered more interesting stuff.
@@alanhindle3149I mean pro wrestlers have been acting their whole lives
6 dollar door? Vinnie, have we lost ya bro?!
That's NOT the original photo?
Paul Gasgoines face isn't turned to side like that? He's facing forward the same as Vinnie.
Who has doctored that photo, and why? 🤔
He used to play for Wales.
There's a great documentary about wimbledon crazy gang that i recomend. Vinnie Jones was absolute crazy on the pitch and so was John Fashanu haha loved Fashanu in the documentary by the way.
Opponent-teams really really hated going there to play against these maniacs. Jones great actor also, hope he is doing well.
Is that bullet tooth Tony ? 😅
yup
Pretty wild that I've seen Paul Gascoigne fame go from Gazza mania to "that guy"
Yeah not in America though. They don't care about him one bit mate
In 1990 you would of said they dont care about Vinny Jones just a observation of how fame grows and fades in different ways @@bhvillaman4401
BULLET TOOTH TONY
My mate's dad is a football pundit, and has been around a lot aggressive sorts. However he said the only time he's genuinely been intimidated was when Vinnie was in the room. Apparently he just had an air of unpredictability about him that put people on edge
Next time I see michael jordon I will be referring to him as "that guy"
In 1 sitting 😂
Pretty sure Keane had nightmares about him
This dude mishandled Roy Keane and Cantona with some nasty tackles.A man with balls of steel.
Nah, he specialised in cowardly tackles that looked to injure people. When Keane squared up to him he ran a mile.
Good job he never played against Souness.
Vinnie is a genuine psychopath. He got the fastest red card on record. Kick-off and he dives straight in with a leg-breaker - a revenge tackle. 3 seconds I think it was.
It was a yellow , Man city vs the Blades 1991.I was in the away end
Four seconds
God, I love Vinnie 🥵
Divvent call wor Gazza "that guy"
Calling gazza that guy 🤦♂️
"That Guy" was one of the best footballers England ever produced.
Gazza
Absolute animal!
That guy? That guy is Paul Gascoigne… Otherwise known as Gazza!!!
Is it just me ? Vinnie is the older version of Travis Kelsey
He’s gonna look like him when he’s getting older 😀
Reducing football legends to "this guy" is the most American thing ever!
Team up with Seagal again, Vinnie. Give the people what they crave.
"What an awful person you are" ... That's not as much of a joke as it sounds, filthy player, wouldn't make it in today's game. "The guy" who's flute he's having a good grope of is actually one of the best players I've ever seen, Paul Gascoigne but to explain him could take a long old time, he's eccentric let's say!
“You’re a soccer pro” tell me you’re an American without telling me you’re American
Gazza would not stop talking bollocks all game
Hey Conan, Haiti wants you back.
Get back over and show us how vibrant and awesome their culture is.
What an original comment.
Swin at the beach, eat someone’s leg….
Got no time for Jones, hard man around Gazza and that type but a total coward around Robson, Hurlock,Mcmahon etc and entire Portsmouth team.
Get Gazza on that show please 🙏
Actually they wouldn’t know what the hell he’s saying. I don’t even know half the time 🤦
@@escapetoruralwaleslol
That guy does not sound like Prince Charles what language is he talking is he Scottish? man i love those english dudes.
has no one heard of John Fashanu?
Americans just learning about Vinnie Jones? Lol
Big dunc is more of a hard man than vinnie 💪
That Guy... 😭 All hail Gazza and the joy he gave to millions. What a player.
What’s a soccer field? Is that a football pitch perhaps?
One of best players ever - atleast use his nane *Gascoigne*
They appeared on an episode of Binne Jones’ TV show together. I’m so surprised Vinne didn’t mention Gazza
it's amaying how americans speaks with a living legend and they don't have a clue wimbledon was Footbal bad boys pistons but with more brutality and agressivity
Man the audience really not appreciate vinnie. Football in England is unlike anything you’ve imagined or experienced
It's called Football and Vinnie also played for CHELSEA FC
Back when Chelsea were irrelevant, abit like now
How old is this interview? Vinnie's still wearing a wedding ring
