I take a few things from this video...
1:Man Utd's so-called hard players,Ince,Keane,Cantona were laughably petrified by Wimbledons tackles.Absolutely spineless the lot of them.
2:Vinnie Jones commited about 4 red cards tackles by todays standards.
3:The Utd players reaction to fouls were light years aways from todays over-reaction to the slightests of touches.Paul Parker for instance getting up straight away from a 2 footed Fashanu challenge is particularly impressive.

Firstly, they are footballers, not martial arts experts. There’s a big difference between being dirty & hard talking. Vinny Jones was just a thug that was allowed to play football. Other than the FA Cup, I can’t remember what else Wimbledon actually won?? Do you want to compare & contrast that to that Man United team? The first to win the Premiership, the first United team in 26 years to win the league (surpassed by Liverpool with 30+), the team that was the catalyst for Ferguson success… Its not about who is the “hardest” in football, it’s about who wins more than not.

You took all the wrong points from the game. Utd won the game and the big thing in the media before the game was how would Utd deal with the hard physical game of Wimbledon. Everybody was expecting Utd to break and for them to start a brawl because they had some nut bags in the team. That was Keane's first season and he played 37 league games with no red cards.
The big thing in that game was that Utd did not show any fear to Wimbledon and did not pull out of any tackles or cower from a tackle.
If you watch the video again you will see that Cantona lost the cool in one of Jones tackles and actually tried to stomp Jones but that was the only time Utd lost the cool.
