As a European, I have no actual use for this footage. But am I disappointed watching it? Were some very stable aerial shots of what seems a clever way to save larger vehicles some time. Very relaxing to watch too 🙂
great video. School bus uses the bottom rcut and then uses the top rcut so it's either very confused or it and the semi are testing out these u turn lanes for the footage
Can't say for sure but I'd wager that big rigs can't make the turn in the intersection thanks to the median, cars choosing to use the secondary turn are either confused by a median dividing the turn lanes or just bad drivers in general. Lots of reasons why turn lanes get medians, eventually they will be the norm.
You know we have roundabouts and we know how to use them? It doesn’t make sense to put on one a 55-75mph road. That would be huge and a waste of money as there are better smaller less impactful options

Because look around, only thing else happening out there is corn growing.
Looks to be to stop straight through traffic attempting to cross two lanes (in each direction) of high speed traffic at once.
I gotta ask why does this exist?
I’m wondering the same thing 🤔
Slowly, veeeery very slowly, americans are figuring out roundabouts. Give it another century and they're golden.

@@joshrockwell8913 Haha I get you, I was just teasing. I guess the adjacent land owners wouldn't be amazed about a roundabout either.
@@MrSaemichlaus oh, sorry then for my reply. That’s the big headed American coming through
