I was diagnosed with trigemnal neuralgia within a month and found info on TMS within 2 months and have already improved so much. I can’t imagine going through this for years and even going through surgeries. My heart goes out to those who have been suffering for years and I am grateful for what I have learned so far with TMS. It’s crazy what our minds can do!

I agree Dan, you’re a Godsend and a miracle worker. I’ve so identified with this interview once again. I’m so much better - I have my life back. I found it’s all about calming your nervous system, which in turns sends messages of safety to the brain. I do gratitude for health meditations, and relaxing body scans etc. it was also very important to get back to living a life, doing normal things and overcoming triggers etc. the most not thing took was blackseed oil.
I listened to Dan, and put it all into practice!!! I get little reminders every now and again but I know not to panic. I do so hope this helps you♥️

I experienced terrible atypical facial pain 25 years ago. I was in my early thirties. I had gone to the dentist for a filling as well as I had a little mark on my front tooth. I had just moved from New York to New Jersey unwillingly. The dentist was new, and he was recommended to me by a family member. The dentist filled my tooth and "bonded" my front tooth. After that procedure I went home and found that the bonding came off and I noticed my front tooth was partially taken off. I looked in the mirror and felt a sense of terrible dread. My beautiful front tooth was partially gone. I went back to the dentist to beg him to fix it. Basically, he told me to get the hell out of his office. Immediately, I developed a throbbing pain in my face. That was my seven year journey of hell.
Doctor after doctor, not only to fix my tooth, but to get rid of my terrible facial pain. Things got worse. While going to another dentist to fix my tooth, they botched my other front tooth. Needless to say, I became severely depressed. I had pain and my front teeth as I knew them were gone. Seven years of doctors, dentists, injections, anti-depressants bite plates, psychotherapy. Endless depressions and anxiety and there was no one to help me. I was living in a world of pain, judgement and sadness. all alone trying to raise my young children
After going through hell, my sister had heard of Dr, John Sarno, She thought maybe he could help me. I was at the end of my rope and decided to make an appointment with him . He called me back one day to speak to me and I scheduled an appointment with his office. For one year I went to his class twice a week and studied his book and his program. On his advise, I scheduled psycho therapy with his team at his NY University Medical center.
It took me over a year to get better. Dr. Sarno said when the pain is in one spot it may take longer to get better. I had the facial pain in both sides of my face, neck and head. for seven years with out relief. Same place day and in and day out. I thought of taking my life many times because I could not take the constant chronic pain. I was living in hell.
I am writing because I can relate to this success story. I also came back to revisit Dr. Sarno's program and found you. Dan Two years ago I developed sciatica. It became chronic and I didn't recognize it as TMS. So I am here now to see if I can get better. I realize it is TMS and I am doing everything possible to get better. Your videos are very helpful , and I am praying that the pain will go away. I am having difficulty working and doing my daily functions. I know if I follow Dr. Sarno's and your videos, I will get better. So now I will watch your videos and I will know my chronic condition will get better. So thank you so much Dan.

Hi Dan , i have been in this situation for 2 years now since getting dental implants . Burning , tinging in my face and inside my ear , which sometimes switches to my left side . Ive also developed cold feelings in my limbs as well as nerve pain in my body . I definitely catastrophise my pain and spend my life on 'support 'groups looking for answers, which i feel quite aware that my face pain flairs up when reading them . I feel i have lots of inner work to do and im grateful my mum sent me your video so i can learn and apply to my life.
Touching on what Eleanor says about blood vessels on nerves , its very interesting that ive read quite a few stories of people being told by neurosurgeons that some people present with vessels on nerves with absolutely zero pain, where as others live in complete hell.

It's all controlled in the subconscious. It never comes out of nowhere. If symptoms arise, the brain consciously or unconsciously is perceiving some type of danger. And yes, it can be delayed. Hello,
Some days im doing just good until i lack sleep or try to force a healthy posture that pain exacerbates.
When i stretch, the day after my back is all burning tingling and compressing...those sensations especially give me crippling dizziness..when i lay down i feel like im gonna disappear into my bed..waking up makes me wobbly..just because i stretched. Sometimes, it's a lack a sleep that brings a lot of symptoms..particularly and spectacularly..DIZZINESS, tight neck and shoulders and sciatica alike pain (tingling) my legs feel so weak and shaky.
I know it's TMS, the symptoms are shifting endlessly but ...i can't do nothing. My mind seem fearful and i begin to think about medication if it can help too

Hi - just wanted to let you know I have had almost all these symtoms. Especially after “doing something” or stretching. Months have gone by when I reduced the pain and I have mostly better days doing the work. Just continue through it…. And you will get there! I believe it. Because I too had very weird and LoUD symptoms , numb tingling … pain weak shaky legs . I swore it was something serious .

@jbjobe thank you for your reply. Did you experienced also dizziness while laying on bed with a weak sometimes heavy legs? It's the balance that makes so uncomfortable .

@@unknown1993E yes I did and occasionally still feel like I’m going to sink in the bed . Like I’m falling . It was sooooo scary at first but it’s less and less the more I heal my nervous system . It’s my nervous system causing it.
Balance between doing activities and breathing to calm nervous system , rest and not pushing too much.
I have pain that moves as soon as my brain knows I’m not scared of another pain.
But yet dizziness was a main symptom …. Heavy legs …. My neck is original pain and source. Anxiety can cause many of these too
