Thank you jesse, JT and everyone else with ERRA. This track alone speaks to me on so many levels in a way I couldnt fathom putting into words. This whole aobum is helping me through a dark time and also inspiring me to pick my guitar back up. Cant wait for the next album guys!!!
This song is going to be the equivalent to Vanish Canvas from the Self Titled for me, and by that I mean I'll listen to this song probably 250 times before the year is out, making it my top streamed song of the year by a nautical mile. What a beautiful song.
I'm right there with you, this is my favorite track on the album and last night I listened to it on repeat to memorize the lyrics to hopefully sing it live if they play it

There is not bad song on this album. That being said…this is absolutely my personal favorite. Kind of a sleeper it seems like. The chorus is just straight monstrous!

First thing that popped in my head when I saw the song title.
I Dig it!, my one disappointment on this album is the lack of guitar solos. That’s something that really made them stick out imo. So many bands in this genre have no solos now, and now ERRA are kinda getting to that point lol. I still dig the album, just a bummer that every album they release seems to stray further and further from solos.
My opinion their previous album was much better lol. This new album just sounds like he’s trying to incorporate Ghost Atlas too much.

Yeah I’d have to agree, I haven’t disliked an album, but the last album I LOVED by Erra was drift. Augment is def their gold standard tho lol

They are the same JT and Jesse
Jesse is experimenting more with his lower register on this album. They are still the same members. Only person new is Clint who wasn't on Self Titled but he's the new Rhythm guitarist.

Least favorite of the non-singles, by far.
Very repetitive.
I kinda found the chorus jarring, and there's just something missing instrumentally.
Better than most of the singles, but I didn't really vibe with the singles much.
Probably an 8 as an album, and a 6 for this song.
The last half of the song is actually pretty monotonous for an ERRA song.
Genuinely, I feel like it could have been a GREAT 2-2:30 minute song, and it just overstays it's welcome for me.

@@AcrossOceansOfficialBandnah they bring up some good pints. The chorus doesn’t quite mesh with the verses. My thoughts are that the vocal harmonies (as well as post production effects) make it a bit jarring.
And while the motif is nice, having new musical ideas is also nice. ‘Something that feels like it’s missing as most of the choices feel either lazy or safe which ultimately isn’t interesting to listen to.
Well it seems like their ERA is past unfortunately.....
