From glimpse to this song you really understand how diverse and incredible Jesses vision for composition. Nobody juxtapositions heavy and ethereal like Mr Cash. He does it the best
Then this into Crawl Backwards just adds to it more. The guy is a genius songwriter.

Dang, I’ve never seen someone agree on that with me. Orchid is my favorite song by them too. This song doesn’t come close to replacing it for me but it is a beautiful, solid song. I just went back and listened to Drift and a couple other albums today to remind myself how different they sounded over the years and indeed, Drift stood out as something quite unique.

Sounds like a blend of Vanish Canvas and Skyline, I love it. This one is low-key, my favorite off the new album just because Jesse's vocals during the chorus gives off a Courtney vibe from Spiritbox 🤧

@@maJastoL I wouldn't say he's been listening to them but they do have overlapping styles. It doesn't help that Dan Braunstein who produced this record has also helped produce Spiritbox's Eternal Blue as well.

That's generally how it works. They do heavy so well for so many years you really understand it when they divert and do a radio song. Blue Reverie had a great mix of soft and heavy too

Sorry, but this is on the level of Blue Reverie as my least favorite Erra songs ever.
It's basically just a bland country pop chorus repeated 3 times.
If you wanted to get on the radio that badly, bending over a little further would have had this on the CMT rotation.
It's such a boring song for the same band that wrote things like Hybrid Earth, Nigh to Silence, and a Vanish Canvas collab that was somehow better WITHOUT Courtney Laplante guesting.
If you wanted to phone something in, Jesse could have had JT guest this on a GA b-side.

Glad I’m not the only one who had to double take this being on an ERRA album. It would have been a fine Ghost Atlas song but I definitely prefer the heavier sounding ERRA then whatever this song is
