Whoever sat Kieran and Pedro beside each other deserves a raise.
I came in here for Pedro and I came out... Uh, still a Pedro fan, but I'm a Kieran fan too now!
💯
its giving!
They put the two most animated front and center! I think Pedro’s mike was turned up the loudest too. Everyone was hanging on his every word as they should.❤
Amen!

@@julcia7871 ARIANA WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE HA HA HA
I raise you with Jeff Bridges
Ahh fr
YEAH!
Jeff Bridges asking Evan Peters about something positive about his experience on Dahmer is a great moment to me. You can tell he sees the affect the role still has on him, and by asking that it seems to be his way of trying to help him find some kind of light from what was clearly a dark experience.
You could also tell Evan really had a hard time to come up with an answer.
gen question sorry if its weird..but if Evan playing that horrible character with the messed up storyline line the difference being it actually happened irl why did he choose to go forward with it? I feel bad but I'd understand and empathise with how he's feeling if it was fiction? is that crazy
@@zara7302 I mean he wouldn't have known before hand if it would affect him or how to what degree. Sure it's fiction and not real, but you're still saying and doing things that are horrible. Over and over again due to multiple takes and whatnot. I think some actors are just better at leaving the work st work verses some that have a hard time not letting it get in their head. What he was portraying wasn't real in the sense he never really did it, but that doesn't change the emotional aspect.
Dude...yeah he could tell and really tried to reach him which was awesome to watch

The sincere, shy, quiet, “Can I ask you a question?” Evan says to Jeff is just so endearing
Yes 😊❤️

Evan is wonderful. I adore him so much
Reading into a little much? He was just getting the question in before they went to another topic.
I love how comforting they tried to be for Evan. Especially Jeff trying to get Evan to find something positive from the experience🥺
I loved that too, like so supportive and Jeff as the wise elder telling him to breathe and Evan lit up with their commonality of wim hof
Yea.. Jeff seemed genuinely concerned 🥺
nobody wants to see a heath situation happen ever again :(
When? Time stamp?
He tried to explain something positive he at least learned from it but understandably it was difficult to explain.
evan being so brooding and quiet compared to kieran being so childlike and chaotic is so funny
Just like Kieran and his costar Jeremy Strong 😆

You know, once upon a time Evan has that in him too
Kieran Culkin could become a late night show host so easily. He has the charisma, the humor and the genuine interest in the opinions of others. Makes him more qualified than the vast majority of hosts.
I definitely want to see Kieran have his own show, any show. He's so entertaining and has great timing.
I agree !
He’s charming and that’s something we don’t see as much of
Makes me think he was never acting for the role of Roman

Let's all start a petition to get Evan Peters in Romcoms or just comedies he needs light
Please!!! Especially a romance 👀
damn right sis!!
His brief cameo role in WandaVision was so lighthearted and fun, it's too bad he doesn't find something in that similar spirit. He really has incredible comic timing!
He did quicksilver, he’s fine 😂😂😂
YASS !!
Evan needs a comedy. He had such a small part in The Office, and made that memorable. He is amazing
Have you seen “American animals”
He’s transcended comedy at this point. He’s the next Daniel Day Lewis
Let’s not forget his hero role as Quicksilver.
I mean quicksilver was a fun character for him to play
In one of his earlier roles in the movie Never Back Down, he was hilarious as the goofy best friend, Max Cooperman. One of my favorite characters ever
as a psychology student one thing I noted that Pedro does alot when he talks is making eye-contact with everyone in the room, which makes them feel more involved and have a sense of belonging in the conversation. so sweet!!
yes, I have even seen a video or two on behavior using him as an example of proper behavior in a group or with women. Women have said the same thing when he talks to them. He give them his whole focus.

Overreading it but okay. Psychology is not the pseudoscience you are presenting here.
@@roshie187 It is basic psychology or a study of behavior, I don't think the comment is an overreading. He is well known for being an inclusive person and always involving everyone in a conversation; he is extremely polite and also known to be kind hearted. I do note however, that he sits with his hands across his chest for much of the time in this group, so he may be feeling defensive for some reason. Yeah...I think Kieran could see how hard that role was for him. I'm glad he was empathetic to Evan ❤
Fuller still wets the bed when he doesn't go easy on the pepsi.
Kieran has an outstanding backup career as an interviewer, if ever wants to pursue that.
He's changed over the years. A real talented and empathetic person💜
I wonder if he asked those questions because he's been in close proximity to someone who works like that...
How much of Evan hunted eyes remind him of Jeremy's.

He like the rest can sense the sadness he’s carrying around from such a dark role. Hoping for brighter days and roles for Evan Peters!
Yes Kieran was too. Seemed sad for Evan that he was struggling. I'm glad he at least said yes to being on the roundtable.
Ya and Evan noticed this and looks back at Pedro if you look closely. I hope they reached to one another afterwards.
I love Kieran Culkin's curiosity....his deep rooted interest in his colleagues is so admirable
The way they are all so interested in Evan. He is such a talented actor.
Aren't we all 😂❤
Because he’s great and they know ❤😊
Because he played a REAL serial killer. The rest were fake characters.
He was absolutely chilling as Dahmer. He completely brought that character to life and they were in awe.
I mean that's about the heaviest role an actor could ever play. I'm sure they're all extremely interested. And a bit jealous. Lol

When Evan said “ I’m interested in exploring the light” made my heart so happy. ❤
This was such a wonderful group to get together. And poor Evan needs to live with Jeff and Pedro for like a year to learn how to release all that evil he had to deal with.
I’ll sign up for that year as well 😅 but seriously yes he needs that therapy I don’t want anything to happen to him.

Watching everyone respect Evan Peters when he talks about prepping for his role as Dahmer is awe-inspiring. It seems as though they all respect him as an actor for taking on such a difficult role.
Yeah I think so too. Courageous actor ❤
I think they all know that Evan is an amazing and talented Actor.
The way Pedro watches Evan at 14:40 makes me think that he felt Evans pain and suffering from doing those dramatic roles all the time
Pedro is, allegedly a very kind and compassionate person, or so everyone who meets him says.

Pedro Pascal truly does deserve all this „sudden“ (compared to his very long, hardworking career) success. Not only is he an incredible actor but also very rare example of a genuine person, especially compared to other Hollywood-men.
He's the only interesting thing about Hollywood
So humble as well!
Agreed! He has a humility and kindness that's very hard to find in celebrities in general

He totally deserves it all and more
I want to see Evan on a black comedy series similar to Succession or Beef, where characters aren’t goofy but they still make you laugh.
Yes! He'd be really great in a show like that ❤
A Veep type thing I think would work for him too.
I think even playing someone like Kendall or Roman would be too dark for him right now. He was great on Mare of East town. Too bad they killed him off, so no spin-off.
Jeff Bridges being quiet while they’re all talking about the heaviness of embodying a character and he’s just like “I don’t know I sorta pray before a scene”. Guys been at this a long time lol legend
He comes from a family of actors and came up through the Disney system, I think being around it for so long gives him the ability to right-size it. He almost has a British attitude about acting in that he is able to just show up and move his face and change his voice a little and just deliver without being consumed by it.

Pedro talks so passionately about acting, both in his own career and with those around him. it’s a shame the only thing anyone ever asks him about is his “daddy” status.
Completely agree...there are loads of questions I'd love for him to answer that have nothing to do with that and yet it continues to be the most referenced thing. I would love to ask if he'd ever consider going back to theater - some actors like to rotate between different types of performances if they can - or if he thinks he's grown out of that now. I'd love to talk to him about some of the books he's recommended and how they've had an impact on him. I have a laundry list of questions that just never get asked somehow. Granted I'm only 18 mins into the video so ... who knows, maybe they do talk about that, although I'll be surprised.
@@deathwitheponine I would love for him to return to the stage!
I hate when he gets asked that. It's so weird, and kinda embarrassing.
Yep... It was kind of funny for like a week, now it's anoying and disrespectfull to keep getting it there without reason
And this is supposed to be a respectable publication
This made me want to give Evan a hug. I absolutely adored him as Peter Maximoff in the MCU. He made the character so lovable and funny. Those side characters that don't get as much screen time, but who still manage to worm their way into our hearts are my favorite. ❤
I agree, he was miles better than the guy who played Peter in avengers.
14:40 When Pedro stares at Evan, and Even looks back at him, then their immediate reactions (Pedro looks away and Evan goes to grab his water) makes me hope that Evan gets help. Anyone with eyes can see he's wasn't okay after that role, and even though it's nice for him to be with other well respected, serious and professional actors that completely understand, it's another thing to actually have someone reach out and stick with you when you're going through the worst. I think throughout the whole interview everyone seemed to be considerate of him and wanting to make him more comfortable, but sometimes that only makes you want to pull away more, so I hope he's doing well and getting help from his peers and loved ones...
relax he is fine

Kieran has shown the range he has with succession. Drama, comedy, improv, he's done it all brilliantly.
Dude, the most recent episode especially sold it for me like jeeez. He is truly an amazing actor and I wonder what roles he'll get from here. I think Roman will always be his standout role. I mean, that character is so complex and fun to play. I know the creator knows what he's doing but man, it really does feel like there could be more seasons of the show. But this roundtable just cemented Jeff's legendary mentor status for me. Great to see multiple generations of leading men together sharing feelings this way.

I’ve “heard” he is generally a quiet guy.
Evan has always been nervous doing interviews. Some interviews hes chill because hes comfortable around the people hes with. I am introverted so i totally get him. Either way he is an amazing actor and never seen him do a bad performance.
I just want Lacey Rose to know she is one of the best moderators/interviewers I’ve seen. She has a fresh energy and never demands attention for herself. She seems genuinely curious and isn’t overly pushy with her subjects. Keep it up Lacey, you’re doing the most fantastic job!
Agreed- she's way better than the male interviewers they used to use in this series, especially the British guy who would always interrupt everybody. She does a great job of facilitating the conversation and helping everybody feel comfortable.
Don't know why but hearing Evan talk so beautifully about Kate Winslet makes me so happy
Same. I've always loved her. The reader being her best role, for me anyway.
I like that he gave props to a leading actress even though the roundtable was about male actors.
I think he should work with a female director or story, perhaps something like barbie. Or I could totally see him in something like Miracle Workers or ted lasso.
Evan Peters AND Pedro?!?! No wayyyyy😂💕💕
I hope that Evan and Jeff stay in contact. Evan seems like he really looks up to Jeff and values his input.
I hope so too. I think they would have great chemistry. Both very grounded and genuine.
Oh Jeff bridges. What a blessing he is. So much wisdom to share. And with such humility and humor
I agree with Evan Peters: He really needs to be in more wholesome content. A Rom-Com where he plays a cute and awkward guy.
Evan Peters and Jeff Bridges having that little moment together about Wim Hof and breathing was so great! The elders giving the younger ones advice, that is a beautiful thing
Yesss
I think Evan is the youngest at the table.
@@xkarenxv Damson is 31. Kieran is the elder millennial lol
When was that

When I see Evan I wanna cry, You can see how this role affected him. Protect this man at all costs.
Edit: I cried
Can someone please give Evan Peters a hug? I've never seen the show, but I can only imagine the mental toll that role took on his wellbeing. It's very clear that playing that person has messed him up in some way. Someone put him in a comedy or something because he's such a great actor
Jeff Bridges is such a positive and chill actor. His relaxed and amiable personality alongside his elder wisdom is very sweet to watch.
It just cements that nobody could play The Dude other than him. Such a rich soul
He's the Internet's grandpa
Pedro Pascal is always so refreshing to watch in interviews, glad he got to do the roundtable
The Sopranos truly set the standard for a bunch of shows now. Such a legendary show. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but a beautifully crafted show.
Evan Peters being the most quiet of this bunch is quite eye opening. Says a lot about him. Definitely doesn’t come across as a scene stealer.
Nope, he's very humble, which is so delightful. But he's also shy. So that's also part of the reason 😊 I remember him saying that someone once taught him that we should always listen more than we speak. Or something like that. Maybe he lives by that advice. It seems a wise thing to do, to listen more.
Which is ironic because any time he's in a scene with other actors, your eyes can't help but watch what he's doing.
They should have a permanent seat for Jeff Bridges at this table. He always keeps the conversation both moving and deep, with his personal legendary film history, courage to display vulnerability, never holds back what he truly thinks and believes, all with great respect of his colleagues and the host. The GOAT of THR roundtables for sure.
He's just a great human. I feel like people were talking over him a bit here which is unfortunate.
Damson Idris saying, "The body doesn't know you're pretending." 14:03 This is something I have discussed with friends about how very real a role can be and the attachment that comes with it. It can take you to a dark place. Wow. This was a great round table with truly amazing actors! Bravo!
he’s definitely very wise.
EXACTLY. It’s Mind Boggling How The Body Works.
I think about that all the time. I have bad anxiety and I was told that your body can’t differentiate between reality and what is going on in your head. All these imaginary scenarios I go through put my body into fight or flight. I can’t imagine actually acting out horrific scenes day after day and being fine afterwards
This is why trauma is so devastating. When you are triggered or have a flashback to a traumatic event, your body doesn't know that that same thing isn't actually happening NOW. It takes much self-awareness and effort and energy to bring yourself into the real, present moment and act/react accordingly. Read 'The Body Keeps the Score' by Bessel van Der Kolk
Damn, you can see it all over Evan's face and in his eyes. That role took a toll on him. Hope he finds some catharsis from the experience.
Evan's acting is on another level of intensity which makes him one of the most mesmerising actors of his generation but also can affect him too much. Other actors clearly recognized it as well. When he said about giving 120% - i hope he will find a healthier balance towards his craft but keep the passion.
Jeff and Evan as well as Pedro and Kerien had great dynamics but everyone was very supportive of each other.
Hi
bro this line up??? ABSOLUTELY WILD. Im watching every second of this! Kieran? Evan? Pedro? Damson? HOLYY 🔥🔥🔥 as a future screenwriter/director its my due diligence to watch this in entirety!
im loving this video for that reason, they all seem to click very well together, the give off the same vibe and they're all funny. gotta love these men :)
yes the lineup is something special!
Yall, Michael Imperioli, though!
@@themustar601 i haven't seen much of his work, im going to watch the Big Lebowski for the first time tonight!
@@AB-uq9rt yes!! Making me more sad then I should be hearing little from him, and seeing less about him in the comments! 😢
Jeff Bridges is so adorable and comforting, I'm glad he was here with everyone
Me too!
Top 50 of all-time. A legend.
@@Kigoz4Life Now I really wish I'd seen that movie. It's a must for movie buffs I bet!
my thought exactly!
He's all love, man.
Jeff bridges talkiing about being preped by the universe before a movie is awesome...you can tell he really really IS the DUDE
It’s like watching group therapy. So vulnerable, honest, and healing. ❤
No wonder millions are in love with Pedro Pascal-you really couldn't even write a better man. Not only is he insanely talented, delivering a range of emotionally riveting , evocative, immersive performances, but he possesses so many beautiful traits. He's really the most internally and externally beautiful man alive to me -watching him in Narcos drove me insane. Not to mention how humble, funny, charming, compassionate, and wholesome he is.
And being a dreamboat is just the cherry on top.
I feel like Evan also has social anxiety on top of the trauma from the series, i really hope he gets the help he needs
Yes, the constant face rubbing...
By nature I think he is more quiet and is not the spotlight loving type. Definitely not the “center of the room” type of person.
Michael Imperioli: the silent assassin.
Observing and absorbing knowledge at all times, it would appear. Next 10 years could be huge for him. He seems right at, or near, where he wants to be, artistically. And cool as a cucumber among other artists.
Well done, Spider!
I do wish she would have asked him more about White Lotus...it's like she just didn't want to disturb him or something
I almost feel wrong for watching this because it feels more like therapy than an interview. It was beautifully human. 🖤
I feel so sad for Evan that my heart aches. He’s visibly shaken from his characters. He doesn’t laugh with others, doesn’t engage in conversations like the others do. I just hope he gets lots of help and love
He just has social anxiety and he’s introverted so that’s why he seems quiet and stuff obviously his role was rlly hard to play but it’s also bc of what I said earlier:)
Its called to be in the character, gaga and Butler are like this dont be dramatic 🙄
@@girlboss3426 he’s in character in a interview?? Years after he did the character?? Be smarter and more empathetic
He is laughing
I worry about Evan….I don’t want another incident like Heath. I was confused when Damson said Heath was able to shut off the Joker when I heard the exact opposite that it consumed him and lead to his death. Could’ve been a fake story idk.
Kieran making Pedro laugh with "I'm a daddy and nobody likes my daddy parts" was great and now we never have to ask Pedro a daddy question again
It was nice for Damson to open up about the struggles that he went through when tapping into the dark parts of Franklin. He’s a phenomenal actor and the actors on this panel really highlighted the trails and tribulations they face with their roles
Ummm he called on the devil for help??? That should concern you
By worshiping the devil? Are you so blind that u can’t see the real true war?
Evan is like the only dude who doesn’t want to talk but everyone wants him to (they bombarded him with questions in the first half).
I get the sense that he's much more of a listener than a talker, especially when in groups.
@@SviraSvihe’s actually a very charismatic guy, i seriously think Dahmer weighed down on him a lot, i mean he did a phenomenal job but playing someone that evil gotta really stick with u
Evan Peters is the most underrated actor in Hollywood. The roles he’s played, he puts his all into it. I respect you sir. 👏🏽
Him and Pattinson
He’s extremely highly rated
There was such controversy about the Jeffrey Dahmer movie that people didn't see how really amazing he was playing him. He got his voice and mannerisms down perfectly. He was amazing.
@@freddiegrace3770 sure but it was still a stupid idea..it happened irl and it was very painful to some
@@zara7302 Just wondering, are you also against Ross Lynch, Jeremy Renner, Zac Efron, Dominic Burgess and Ralph Fiennes?
All of them have played horrible real life people who have had many victims.
Where do we draw the line?
Is it the X amount of years that have passed? Is it the way the subject matter is handled? Or should those kinds of people never appear in creative media, no matter what? So.. no H*tler depictions should be allowed, in that case.
And what do we do in the case of satire? South Park has depicted many of these notorious people in their episodes and don't hold back on the dark humor...
I just think that when we criticise an actor for taking on a role, it just opens up a whole lot of other questions.
I love that Kieran’s whole vibe in this is “I AM A FATHER” lol
And it’s nice seeing Damson being included in this.
I'm only here for Evan Peters. Show him your love. This guy's is incredible and very versatile.
Watching Pedro watch Jeff talk about Tron was probably the sweetest fricken thing I've seen in a long time.
